Spacious room with air conditioning, enough closet space, available bar (where I could order tea or drinks), good coffee at breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff: the young man at reception showed me on a map how to get to the most important tourist attractions and always quickly took my order from the bar. The shower stall doors didn’t close due to a problem with the silicon linings; I told the lady receptionist in the morning and she had it fixed right away. The night receptionist was also super nice and gave me a helpful tip as well upon my departure.

Everything is fine, I liked it. The room was clean. The parking was busy, but it's good that it exists, it's paid - it makes sense to book in advance, but I'm not sure that's possible. On the street near the hotel, it's also sometimes possible to park. The hotel has a nice location, the room is comfortable.

Late in the evening there was no one at the reception – it was not possible to buy water, in the morning there was no one at the reception to hand over the card or order coffee at the bar. But at other times the administrator was present at the counter, everything was polite and comfortable.

Excellent location, mostly everything is within walking distance. Bed and pillow (always an issue due to constant back and neck pain) excellent. Quiet room into the back yard. Appreciated the huge wall painting of a tree and river landscape they hung up to cover the concrete wall.

I found it a bit cool in the room, but there was a wool blanket in the cupboard so perfect for the night.

Easy to find. Good river views & 5 mins walk to all going on in old town. Plenty of little cafes close by & shops too. Great car parking facilities reasonably priced.

€10 euro breakfast per person not really worth the price but it was raining so was conveinient for us before checking out, better walking to a cafe over road 2 coffees 2 jamon&eggs on toast just €9 for both which we did the day before.

Very convenient location, close to the center and downtown and pretty much anything you need. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, and if you're lucky to stay in one of the rooms in the front you also have a beautiful view of the river and the city. Facilities are clean and functionally great, warm water and AC for cold or hot nights. Even though it is paid separately, there is a small cafe/bar located in the reception level of the hotel, which is run 24/7 so you can always expect someone to help you with what you need.

The ad says there is parking on site and whilst that is still technically true you may want to rethink using it if you're claustrophobic or have a bigger-than-average car. The way the parking works is sometimes they have to lower your vehicle on a lift to -2 and the entrance of the lift is already tight as it is, but it is also slightly offset from the entrance of the garage. You have to be really confident in your maneuvering skills and patient. For 18€ a night is not bad and definitely better than the 24h parkings outside, however you might wanna consider your options if you're not sure about using the parking.

Clean, bright room with good beds, enough space, and well organized. No carpets, just bright, clean, parket floor. Very decent and hot shower with plenty water. Breakfast was very decent. And the staff super!

Ask for a high room if you want silence, there is a street right in front of the hotel - and if you love open window, as we do, you will hear less sound/noise the further up your room is.

Hotel Bilbao Plaza is a fantastic choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Bilbao. The hotel is located in a prime spot, just a short walk from the city’s main attractions, including the Guggenheim Museum and the historic Casco Viejo. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. It is a perfect base from which to explore the city and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and well-priced hotel in Bilbao.

Great location and friendly staff. When we checked in the man on reception advised us where to go in the city which was really helpful. Rooms were clean and basic.

A good size room which was quiet, spotlessly clean, bed comfortable with good lighting & and sockets either side of the bed. Bathroom clean with a good shower. Location was perfect, on the river, with all main tourist attractions in comfortable walking distance.
