Loved the decor! Beautiful and a little quirky. Very clean.

Initially I was a little bit worried about the location but realised that it is actually safe and a great place to be.

Perfect for the price. Like the aesthetic- simple, had everything you need, rooms were just big enough and beds were super comfortable. Loved the staff - super friendly but also real and relatable. Rooftop bar was beautiful, Pool was refreshing- though not in the sun for long this time of year.

Rooms were a bit loud. Not from the street noise but from the opening and closing of doors. The shared bathrooms are no problem, but the heavy, loud doors woke us up anytime one of us or every other guest in the hotel used the bathroom. This was disappointing. A rubber gasket on the doors could be a cost effective solution to this simple but significant problem. The keurig always overflowed and made weak coffee even when we stopped it at half a cup… but convenient to have.

This was my first stay at the East Austin Hotel. My check in was easy with the young lady at the desk. I had a lot of questions of how to get to the Austin convention center and she immediately looked it up for me. I found the Hotel in a very convenient location, it was close to all my needs. Its a walking section of the town. Bus stops, restaurants, Whole Foods grocery store, the Austin Convention Center. Swimming pool was inviting but I was unable to utilize it due to a busy schedule. there were even towels at pool side, thats great! the place was very clean.

it would be really nice to have a filtered water re-fill station or something to that affect by the office and by each elevator. there's not always someone at the bar and the water in a jug is a lemon-lime water.

Loved the location and vibe of this place. Easy walk to lots of good eats and entertainment. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Ate breakfast at the diner, which was delicious, and wish we had time to have another meal here. Casper mattress was super comfortable. Parking on the street is easy and inexpensive and the hotel allows for some free time in their parking garage with a QR code. Overall, outstanding place and would highly recommend.

Minor dislikes: water was not exactly hot but it was warm enough to shower and I wish we knew that luggage storage prior to check-in would be outside.

Great location-The rooms are very comfortable whether you stay in the Cabins or the regular room. My next stay will be pool view. The property is very secure, not to large and well maintained. We absolutely love breakfast cafe and evening cocktails upstairs on the outdoor deck. Can’t wait for the outdoor pool, bar and area to open this summer when we return. We absolutely enjoy visiting with Becca and trying extensive variety of cocktails. You will not have a better breakfast in the area. We ate early risers and love our first meal of the day.

The ice machine was down - lol - not really an issue there was one on the 3rd floor.

Located just a couple blocks east of the Interstate on the infamous 6th Street, this retro-style hotel has a room style for any budget. We did the style they call "cabins" which are very small with a shared bathroom. That sounds like a step down but we never waited for a bathroom nor encountered a bathroom that wasn't clean. It's a concept that works. The central pool and roof top bar are a couple top notch amenities. There are food trucks, coffee bars and very good restaurants within blocks.

While the well-done shared bathroom concept was a surprise there are two cost-cutting measures that really make a bad impression. The really cheap toilet paper with security dispenser you expect to see in a roadside rest-stop was a disappointment. Good luck getting more than a couple inches. And if you forgot to bring your hand towel from your room when you wash your hands, it's another "gotcha." There are no paper towels or hand dryers in the bathrooms. Overall a small annoyance on a good stay.

The hotel was so beautiful. The cabins, bathrooms, pool area and the restaurants were well designed. I took a cabin room that wasn't ensuite, but the bathroom was clean at all times. The location was very central so it was to get around and visit some of the bars close by at night

My room was beside the busy side of the road. I got in about 12am to sleep and I could still hear music even with the windows closed. I was able to sleep through the night, but the sound was initially a disturbance.

I liked almost everything about this place. It's very modern and youthful. The staff is amazing and they have a rooftop bar and restaurant. They made me feel at home. This place is good for young adults.

The one thing I didn't like was the community bathrooms and showers. I had to leave my room every time I needed to use the restroom or when I wanted to shower. They probably had rooms with their own private bathroom and shower but I didn't ask and that was totally on me.

The property was clean, felt safe, and offered some great entertainment inside the hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and very clean! The location is great with plenty of food trucks, restaurants, and bars within walking distance!

It was challenging to sleep with all of the noise disruptions (cars/sirens & bar across street) but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed with some ear plugs on our next visit :)

Excellent location for east Austin/6th Street bars and restaurants. Some excellent beer gardens super local to us. Great pool party on a Saturday! Lovely restaurants on site. Great value grab and go breakfast options. Air con in the room was in our control and did the job. Was super clean. Great shared toilet facilities. Lovely friendly staff. Good options at the bar
