Super clean, comfortable rooms, good location, has all the amenities, wide selection for breakfast

Super outdated rooms, felt like i was back in the 80s. Breakfast had a variety but lacked quality, food was cold, bland, and simple dishes weren’t up to par.

Great location, right in the middle of downtown. The free valet service takes care of parking your car and will bring it back to you quie fast if you need it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff is very professional and friendly.

The rooms are very outdated - there aren't even plugs next to the bed and the furniture and wallpaper look like it was last updated in the late 90s. The AC is fairly loud, as it's ancient too.

Everything was beyond expectations, from the size and cleanliness of the room, the courtesy and kindness of the entire staff, the location of the hotel. Upon arrival, our reserved room was upgraded, without additional costs, and so we stayed in a one-bedroom suite, located on the corner of the 16th floor from the 21st, with a superb view of the main boulevard and the buildings up to the sky. Towels and bedding are changed on request, 2 small bottles of water are renewed daily, as are the bathroom supplies. Wi-fi worked without problems in all areas of the hotel. The heated pool on the 21st floor is insane, along with the jacuzzi offers an unforgettable view at sunset, with sunbeds and towels available and pleasant ambient music. Breakfast is one of the richest served by us, with all kinds of cold, hot, traditional cooked dishes, omelettes made on the spot upon request, juices, various types of coffee and various fruits. We had dinner included in our reservation and we made an excellent choice. Such a tasty meal, with dishes that were not repeated every day, and we will remember the Asian evening on Friday or the one prepared on the occasion of the Chinese New Year celebration for the rest of our lives. All the hotel staff made us feel special, starting with the reception, chambermaids, all those who served in the restaurant and the cooks, the restaurant managers, the valets at the entrance, truly a 5* hotel! I recommend this hotel and we will choose it again when we return to Abu Dhabi.

Increased humidity in the rooms, probably due to the indoor-outdoor temperature difference

I was fined from police for not pay for parking but the time and place for parking is around the hotel, parking is valet and car was parked by staff. Hotel reject my request to cover the penalty from police. Im disappointed.

wonderful place to stay! The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help, creating a cozy atmosphere from the very start. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the city center, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring. Breakfasts are diverse, with options to suit every taste. Dinners vary throughout the week, which is a delightful touch—on Fridays, for example, they serve sushi! Another nice detail is that bathrobes are provided upon request, adding to the comfort. The heated pool is a standout feature—an excellent way to relax at any time of the year. The hotel leaves only positive impressions. I will definitely return!

As for the downsides, the decor feels a bit outdated, and the hotel could use some renovations.

I stayed at Millennium Downtown hotel for 5 days and really enjoyed it. For the first time I really enjoy staying at Millennium Downtown. It was very clean hotel. Service at a high level, very clean rooms, excellent breakfast` thanks to all the staff for the surprise cake for my daughter's birthday. Nothing, everything was perfect!

The hotel is very well located for central Abu Dhabi in Hamdan St. it used to be the Crown Plaza. I was updated to a club room. Although the rooms are a little dated, it was comfortable and clean and a good size, as I was upgraded to Club. The bed was very comfy. The only issue with the room was it took a while for hot water to come through. I ordered room service once, and had an excellent burger. Finally, the staff were all very friendly, with a big shout to Hamid on reception, the restaurant manager, and (Isaac?) the big security guard. All very friendly, chatty and helpful. I had a great stay, thanks guys!

The cost of the stay for half board during the F1 Grand Prix was exceptional good, although you still have to negotiate getting to YAS circuit which is around 40 mins by bus or 25 by taxi.. If you are brave enough to take the bus it’s just £0.85 each way but a real bun fight for seats on the way back, we learnt how to do this on the first night so we’re prepared for the second night. Hotel really misses out not providing its own shuttle bus which I am sure all guest would pay for.

The buffet breakfasts were good and started at 6am , however the hoe buffet dinner was not that good but salad options were ok.

Millennium Downtown Abu Dhabi offers an excellent downtown location with spacious rooms and a large bathroom featuring a corner Jacuzzi tub. While the hotel's style is somewhat dated, it maintains impeccable cleanliness and comfort with plush beds. The stunning rooftop pool and highly professional staff stand out. Breakfast is exceptional with an abundant selection - from fresh salads and pastries to desserts, fruits, quality coffee, juices, and hearty main dishes. A solid choice for both business and leisure travelers.
