My stay at Star Metro Deira Hotel Apartments was truly delightful. The apartment was incredibly spacious, with good views from the balconies and windows (Burj Khalifa in the distance!). The fully equipped kitchen was a highlight, as it had every possible appliance and utensil one could need, making it perfect for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. Amenities were replenished daily, and the staff were attentive and thoughtful; on a day we requested not to be disturbed for cleaning, they still left a water bottle at our door, which was a kind and appreciated gesture. The location was another major advantage, with the metro less than three minutes away (no road crossing needed) and 24-hour supermarkets and a tea stall right outside, making everything convenient and accessible. Another one of the standout features was the ease of ordering food from a nearby restaurant, which provided their menu in the apartment. Ordering via WhatsApp was seamless, and the food was delivered straight to the room in no time—a fantastic extra service!

The interiors of the apartment showed some signs of wear and tear. The wash basin drained quite slowly, and while the shower and tub were functional, they weren’t in pristine condition. However, these minor issues did not significantly affect my stay, especially given the apartment’s spaciousness, excellent location, and thoughtful service.

Things in the kitchen are already provided.

Only the utensils I think you need to change as it is used and old.

The suite was HUGE and nicely appointed - with 1.5 bathrooms! The staff is friendly and super helpful. Any issues with the room (e.g., missing drying rack) where quickly addressed. There is a concierge during the day that helped us with day trips and cabs. (NOTE: We mostly used the nearby Metro.) The hotel's location is fantastic! A short walk got us to the Metro and numerous restaurants. I felt very safe walking along this main street, morning and night. Across the street is the Reef Mall which has a high-end grocery store with ready made hot food for eat-in or take out. We loved the Calicut Kallayi Restaurant for breakfast and the Star Baik for lunch and dinner, so much that we ended up at these restaurants again and again during our short stay.

In my opinion, I found the bed to be a little too firm.

Although it’s so close to the metro, but you need to ride the metro for like 20-50 minutes to arrive to some touristic places!

Great value for money. The room was huge, 2-3 times bigger than normal hotel room. My friend got even bigger room, it was 1 bedroom+living room+separate kitchen and 2 bathrooms, eventhough she booked a studio. Cleaning ladies were coming every day, refilling coffee-tea and bringing bottle of water. The location was excellent, so many supermarkets around, we liked the most almaya and Nesto where you can buy cooked food. The bus station is across the street, C28 will take you directly to Al Mamzar beach park. Metro station is 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Next to the metro you can find "1 to 10" shop, where you can buy stuff on very affordable prices, including dubai chocolate, magnets, food, drinks, clothes etc. It was a bit noisy in the room due to constant traffic on the street and planes flying above, so take ear plugs with you. There are plenty of restaurants around, shopping mall, supermarkets, cafes, shops, bus stop, underground, you can find everything you need. Airport DXB is only 10-15 min away.

There were some cockroaches in the room.

Noise of constant traffic and people but that is the norm in most parts of Dubai and nothing to do with the accommodation itself.

It is always a pleasure to be greeted by someone who exudes such genuine hospitality. Additionally, Delaware has been incredibly helpful during my stays. His willingness to assist and go the extra mile is highly appreciated and contributes significantly to the overall positive experience at the hotel. The entire staff at Star Metro Hotel embodies a spirit of helpfulness and professionalism, ensuring that guests feel valued and cared for. While my experience at Star Metro Hotel has generally been positive, there are a few areas where improvement would enhance the guest experience: Parking Access: The parking gate does not always work, requiring staff assistance to open it. During late hours, finding a parking slot can be quite challenging. Power Plug Accessibility: It would be more convenient if there was a power plug next to the bed for easy access. Taxi Parking Slot: The absence of a designated taxi parking slot at the main entrance often creates pressure during pick-up and drop-off times. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall hospitality and service at Star Metro Hotel remain commendable. I look forward to seeing how the management addresses these points to make future stays even more enjoyable.

There is no nightclub, if you do not like noise, and it would be very suitable for families Have an extra large room The rooms are sunny and have a good view if you stay on the upper floors. all the equipment you need to do daily activities almost exists. 100 M to the metro station

The furniture is a bit old, but generally good, and you will find almost everything you need The area is very traffic congested, if you plan to use taxis, this will not be a good location for that The corridors leading to the rooms are usually smelly, but this is mostly due to the air flow from the kitchens in the rooms

Very large studio room, great location next to Salah Al Din station, literally a minute walk. Lots of shops nearby including Al Maya and others. Opposite reef mall so very handy, and not far from Al Ghurair centre if you want something a bit more upmarket. The staff were exceptional, especially Shivan on reception. Always going out of his way to make us comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

It was nothing specifically about the property but it just felt odd there were lots of people just stood at the main entrance most of the day pestering for beauty treatments. Got a bit excessive.

The apartment was spacious and the room service was excellent, daily clean, topping up water and toiletries by the friendly staff, Delawur Hossain and Sirajur.

We arrived about half an hour after check in time of 2pm only to be told that we needed to wait for another hour for our room, the staff told us that they had a late check out. Check in and check out was quick with Syeda. The shower is a combo bathtub/shower. I see this often, and I think that it should be one or the other or both separate. There's also a bit of street and traffic noise as it's in a busy area and we were on the 1st floor.
