We loved the warm professional welcome we were greeted at reception from the lovely Lucy who gave us the most fabulous informative welcome she was both caring & knowledgeable about our stay in BATH ( inc places to Eat that catered for dietary needs)…she is an outstanding Ambassador for the company

Good selection at breakfast - both hot & cold items. The 'make your own waffle' option was a novelty. Only thing missing was a better choice of bread e.g. some white or brown rolls rather than just sliced bread for toasting. The red/green table markers to indicate if a table was or wasn't free is a great idea. Bedroom was great. Two large twin beds with comfortable mattresses. Great shower in the bathroom - large with good water pressure & temperature. If only all hotels would have walk in showers rather than those awful (and dangerous) ones over baths. Very secure, with key card required to use lift or stairs going up. The ability to order a taxi via a terminal in Reception was handy.

There's no point in having a green initiative for towels if the cleaning staff ignore it. We left our towels hung up to be used again & every day they were replaced!

Exceptional hotel. The location is brilliant and very close to all the main attractions, the theatre is only 3 minutes walk, roman baths and train station only 6 minutes walk away, the royal crescent is about 8-10 minutes walk. We stayed at the king room and it was a really great size and very spacious. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included plenty of great vegetarian, vegan, meat, and even gluten free options. They even have waffle machine which is lovely. Beds are very comfortable and big as well and the room was very clean, plenty of storage as well as hangers provided too

Overall there’s nothing really substantial to say that was negative. The walls are a bit thin, but that’s to be expected and there was no water in the room. However, this is really me being nitpicky and did not affect the overall score as everything else was absolutely sublime and would gladly stay there again.

-TV couldn’t sync via cast on phone like most hotel tv’s nowadays -some (not all) receptionists seemed rude, no smiles etc.

Location was excellent. Easy access to all the main visitor attractions & good choice of bars, restaurants etc. Short walk from station. Rooms are clean & nicely presented & ours was quiet with a bit of a view to the hills of Bath which was nice. Bed & pillows comfortable & spotless bathroom. Complimentary breakfast is a reasonable standard. Staff are welcoming & helpful.

We booked a King room but although adequate it still wasn't that spacious. Breakfast is served in the open plan lounge/ reception area & some of the seating wasn't that suitable for eating breakfast at e.g Low chairs with high tables or just stools to sit on. Also rather busy at times so not a relaxing experience. Breakfast options were the same each morning & on our last morning there were no pastries or muffins left despite there still being an hour of service remaining.

The location in the heart of the city , easily reached from anywhere The room so spacious, with large windows and a city view staff helpful & answer to requests promptly.

Given an accessible room , I had a huge bathroom with a seat for the shower , but no shower tub. Showering in such a facility was not difficult, but the water drain went relatively slow, so always ends up with the whole bathroom turning to a swimming pool ! The water kettle was not clean, but had the reception replace it within minutes from.my request. I found the picture on the rooms wall annoying to an extent ( monkey riding a motorbike ) 😁😁😁

Location was really excellent and we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room basic but adequate. We would certainly stay again.

Breakfast was ok but a bit of a zoo, finding somewhere to eat as the seating was mainly in the reception area and you had to negotiate people with suitcases while you were carrying plates of food. Too many people milling around in different directions in the space. Also the Bread, THE BREAD!! I've noticed this before at Hampton by Hilton. Why can't they provide decent quality bread/rolls at breakfast rather than the cheapest sliced variety. It spoilt even a bacon sandwich. However, the fresh fruit was excellent. To say that the breakfast was complimentary was not really accurate as that implies it was free whereas the price was for the room inclusive of breakfast.

Excellent location in city centre. Room was very clean, a good size with a very nice bathroom, very large shower enclosure with dual shower heads. Powerful and hot, showered was fantastic. Again, exceptionally clean. Good quality linen and towels. Pillows were lovely, plump and there were plenty available. Large TV on wall opposite the bed, easy to use, great picture. Plenty of complimentary tea/coffee in room. Food was very good, breakfast was fresh and tasty.

There were issues with the door key system. Night 1 we couldn't operate the main doors to the hotel, night 2 we couldn't get into our room! Breakfast time was a bit chaotic....lots of guests and everyone sort of sits around the reception area. Bed was a bit hard for me, although my husband found it perfect!

I had read that the breakfast was good and was not disappointed! The waffle machine was a highlight and I thought the signage to encourage people to ask staff members for help with gluten free and allergies was good. The selection was appreciated. We liked the location of the hotel, being close to the centre of Bath and an easy walk from the station, but at the same time it was quiet. We had no problems at all with noise. The rooms were very clean, well configured and the mattresses and bedding very comfortable. I did note that the lighting was quite low in the bedroom and that overhead lighting was lacking but it wasn't a problem as we used the lights by the bed.

A very small note but the stairs were not obvious to find and we would have taken them if we'd known where they were as the lifts were quite slow.

The location is perfect. It had everything you need inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with easy quick checking in and out! The breakfast was a basic English Breakfast (had better but appreciated the verity). We also had a waffle which was fun but you can choose from many different options which accommodates to everyone's needs. It was about 10-15 minutes walk into the center and 5 minutes to ThermeaSpa which was ideal! Would stay here again, worth the money!

The television in our room didn't connect to the signal properly meaning we could only watch certain channel's. The view wasn't the best out of our window looked out onto another building with people stood right outside our window meaning we had to keep the curtains shut. The windows also have no latch so they don't open, however there was air con available to accommodate this which worked well (check before booking).
