Good selection at breakfast - both hot & cold items. The 'make your own waffle' option was a novelty. Only thing missing was a better choice of bread e.g. some white or brown rolls rather than just sliced bread for toasting. The red/green table markers to indicate if a table was or wasn't free is a great idea. Bedroom was great. Two large twin beds with comfortable mattresses. Great shower in the bathroom - large with good water pressure & temperature. If only all hotels would have walk in showers rather than those awful (and dangerous) ones over baths. Very secure, with key card required to use lift or stairs going up. The ability to order a taxi via a terminal in Reception was handy.

There's no point in having a green initiative for towels if the cleaning staff ignore it. We left our towels hung up to be used again & every day they were replaced!

Exceptional hotel. The location is brilliant and very close to all the main attractions, the theatre is only 3 minutes walk, roman baths and train station only 6 minutes walk away, the royal crescent is about 8-10 minutes walk. We stayed at the king room and it was a really great size and very spacious. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included plenty of great vegetarian, vegan, meat, and even gluten free options. They even have waffle machine which is lovely. Beds are very comfortable and big as well and the room was very clean, plenty of storage as well as hangers provided too

Overall there’s nothing really substantial to say that was negative. The walls are a bit thin, but that’s to be expected and there was no water in the room. However, this is really me being nitpicky and did not affect the overall score as everything else was absolutely sublime and would gladly stay there again.

The hotel is nicely located within a very short and walkable distance from the Bath Spa Rail station which is right next to the Bus/Coach station, surrounded by parks, the avon river and university campus buildings, it is quiet at night with no disturbances at all during my stay, some rooms even offer an interesting view towards the town's center, it's found nearby to plenty of options to eat, from very budget friendly chains to varied restaurants of international cuisine as well, the hotel's own breakfast buffet is good, mainly consisting of an english breakfast (sausages, eggs, beans, bacon, mushrooms, toast) with clearly labeled allergies on each tray, i was specially fond of the waffle-making station and the fruit trays so there's a bit of variety beyond what you'd expect. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a big chain hotel and i felt it was adequately priced, beds and pillows are comfortable, rooms are not too big or small. For tourism it's a great pick as it's within a short walk of the roman baths and stall/union street. Special thanks to Shaun (or Shawn, sorry if i misspelled your name) at the front desk for the warm welcome and being attentive, as well to everyone else at the front desk, kitchen staff and cleaning staff for a superb stay. I can comfortably recommend this hotel to anyone that is planning for a visit of this beautiful historic city.

Only one area to improve, since i found myself walking and even hiking alongside the hilly streets of the city during a bit of rainfall, i unfortunately brought some dirt at the entrance of the room where I'd leave my shoes, which made me realize that the room wasn't being vacuumed as often as I'd like it, nothing that would be detrimental of the experience but worth mentioning.

Everything was very new and clean. Shower with hot water was good. Toiletries are those fixed on the wall together with body lotion which are sufficient. Ample tea, coffee with milk. Bed is comfortable and air conditioning works well. Great selection at breakfast (definitely try the waffles). The hotel is also very central (all the attractions are within walking distance) yet quiet. The bus station is very near which makes it easy to travel to another destination.

Nothing much. If I have to be picky then maybe a few more channels on TV. But I’m not in the room for long anyway so it’s really not a problem.

Breakfast was of a good standard with plenty of choice. From the self service cooked breakfast items to a varied continental choice. The room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom good with an excellent shower. Large screen TV. Though the bed was much firmer than we are used to, we did sleep very well both nights! Maybe we need a new mattress at home ;-) Pillows, on the other hand, were very soft and squishy. I found I needed to use two, which squashed down to an equivalence of one. Whilst there were tea/coffee facilities we were disappointed to not find small biscuits that are often complimentary at many hotels, including other Hilton hotels. Also, there was no complimentary bottled water. But we didn't starve nor die of thirst. Fridge and safe were in the room and we made use of those. Very handy. Location is perfect. A quick 5 minute walk to the city centre and the Roman Baths (well worth the visit) and even quicker to numerous bars, cafes & restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Merely niggly gripes such as there being no water in the room/fridge, nor small packets of biscuits with the tea/coffee (no hot chocolate). Did not detract from our stay. Just letting you know. Any how, there is a Tesco Express less than three minutes away to compensate :-)

Excellent location in a flat part of the city very close to Bath Spa Station and the Abbey, with cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. The hop-on, hop-off Tootbus stops right outside and offers two lovely routes around Bath. We really appreciated the convenient location of this hotel after sightseeing and going out for dinner. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Our standard twin room was modern, comfortable and clean for our two-night stay. The shower was decent for a hotel - always hot and reasonable pressure. If you were staying longer you might struggle for storage, as there was only a small hanging rail and one drawer - the other storage housed a safe and a good-sized fridge. We thought the variety and quality of the buffet breakfast in the bright, modern dining area was good and what you would hope for in a comfortable but not luxurious hotel. My friend enjoyed the full English - with hash browns! - and I liked the fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastries, so we were both very happy.

The choice of breakfasts was great, and staff were on hand to deal with a malfunctioning coffee machine. The bed was big and comfortable and the street was quiet, so good quality rest. We needed to extend our stay by another night, and would have liked to stay on here, but sadly couldn't afford the weekend rates.

There is a range of furniture in the breakfast room, but we had to move fast to get a table with 'proper' chairs for our taller bodies - and the muzak was just awful. I can see that the triangular tables and casual seating allows for flexibility for groups, but the muzak was definitely giving us hints that they wanted us to eat up and get out!

Lovely hotel with exceptional staff. Made extra special with a handmade birthday card and cake. Lovely rooms and so comfortable with everything you could need., very clean, great breakfast with great selections. Staff so so lovely, and I feel they are just perfect as such a lovely welcome, and you could chat with them at the bar like you've known them years, also we asked about good places to eat and drink and they happily recommend place's. I've already looked at booking again in the next couple of months and feel like i dont even need to look for anywhere else as I can't wait to come back.

Pillows a little too soft for me and my neice, bit like laying your head on candy floss.. but that's just personal preference so I wouldn't judge the hotel on that.

the breakfast was good, the room was a good size and was comfortable, the location was very good as was just seconds from the heart of the city centre

Never really got acknowledeged by the staff, when we first arrived we went to reception and got the basics of this is your room, location etc, that was fine, but everytime we entrered or left the hotel we never once recieved a hello or good morning from any member of your team, its not something essential but little things like that make you feel welcomed as a guest and not just a number filling a room
