Staff had a smile on their face! You could add even a coconut cream to your breakfast pancakes along with yogurt! A room on the 9th floor had a nice view over the surrounding lovely Brighton houses - really happy that they could provide this room! And the bed was super comfortable!
I liked to use the Go Green, Skip the Clean signes in the room. But when a sign Please make up my room was put out, the bed and bins were done, but the floor and sink had been forgotten...but it happened only once, the other time all was perfect. Also, Make up the room sometimes means that they do not have to change the towels and bedlinen - we still can save our environment - all what is needed is that the room has to be cleaned generally...

The property was clean and quiet it is located within steps of the Southampton train station which was great on arrival. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly.
The room was good except that there was a step up into the bathroom which was almost round and when exiting the shower there was no mat so it was very easy to slip. You could go down to the front deck to obtain a floor mat however this was inconvenient. Also there are no usb ports and you must have a power converter for the plugs. Also there is no phone in the room.

Room: very spacious, great if you want to cycle and have your own bike with you. Location: amazing - very close to the station, got plenty of food choices around, walkable to the seafront and shops Staff: really lovely, really helpful, friendly and professional Bar: well stocked and you can order nearly everything you can think of! Amenities: Not expected but the body wash and shampoo are pretty good! There are extra pillows if you need, and also coffee and tea and kettle in the room. Very impressed.
Room: Shower door has a great design but the water will splash out between the openings and also from underneath. Also it'd be great to have complimentary water in the room, though I understand that they are available at reception Staff: There was one staff at breakfast (we didn't have breakfast there - just sitting and waiting for our friends) who wanted to be 'in control' but she seemed very confused and didn't understand that we don't want breakfast but we would like to order an orange juice. Maybe she is empowered, but it felt more like she was being bossy (to the other team members) Parking: it'd be great to have more information about staying and parking at North Road Parking without having to ask the staff and taking up their time.

Lovely, helpful staff, welcomed us in and spent the time to explain the hotel/amenities. The location is excellent. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
The location of the swimming pool. In the hotel information, before booking, it seemed the swimming pool was in the hotel. We took our swimming togs but were disappointed to find the pool is quite a substantial walk from the hotel. It s a local pool ( not a problem) and not a dedicated hotel pool. If we had realised this, we wouldn't have booked this hotel, but that would have been a mistake since the positives of staying in this hotel outweighed the one negative of not having a pool. However, for those prepared to walk, there is a discount for hotel guests.

The location was extremely convenient, and the rooms had a beautiful view. They were also spacious, just as I had hoped.
The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, as I noticed some hair in the shower and the toilets were not entirely spotless. That said, the cleaners came in the next day and ensured everything was clean and tidy. Although I was able to leave my bags for an additional £3, I had hoped to stay in the room a bit longer to rest and freshen up before my travels. However, extending the room until 4 PM was not permitted—not even until 2 PM. While they offered a day-use option, it would have been more convenient if they had simply allowed me to extend my stay for a couple of extra hours.

Friendly staff and good location for the train station and a short walk to the sea front. Was able to leave bags before checking in and also discounted parking from a nearby car park which was helpful. Room was good, only 2 teabags for 2 people for 1 night and would have been nice to have a couple more and also wooden spoons for making tea aren’t the best. Shower and bathroom was good, soap dispenser wasn’t working but used the shower one, really comfy bed and pillows. Slight noise from outside which can’t be helped but the curtains and windows didn’t shut a lot out and curtains were a little thin. We did try and eat there on the evening later on and although the kitchen said open until 10pm they were cleaning the oven at 9.40. Whilst I appreciate they may not often have people wanting it this late we were there for football and the hotel was very busy that night. Overall a good stay and would visit again!

The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, all fresh and hot food was hot. As we travelled by train the location was fantastic. A very short walk to deposit our bags. We enjoyed the walk down to the town although the hill back up was not so enjoyable on a very hot day. When it came to departure day we were able to deposit our bags and enjoy an extra day picking them up on our way back to the station.
There was somebody else’s small, used shampoo bottle in the shower which should have been removed. Apart from this, I couldn’t fault it.

I stayed for 2 nights for an event so didn’t spend a crazy amount of time in my room but staff were wonderful and very helpful! The room was good value for money, a nice comfy bed and plenty of space for one person, not sure how it would be for two. The proximity to the train station and the rest of town is very useful! Overall a pleasant experience and I’d definitely stay again when returning to Brighton!
I couldn’t seem to find an extractor fan in the bathroom which wasn’t great but luckily didn’t cause much of a problem. It would also help to maybe have some drawers instead of just cubbies but it wasn’t a huge deal. The sounds of traffic and nightlife are pretty loud at night but that’s to be expected when you’re staying at a hotel on a high street, I just popped in some ear plugs and couldn’t hear a thing :)

My room on the 6th floor, though facing the main road, was very quiet. I just heard dome creaking from upstairs. I was delighted with thevfree storage after I left my room.
The dound of the room heater was disturbing overnight. I heard someone showering at 4am,, but I guess this was to be expected. I did have trouble with sleeping, esp after I spoke for toilet breaks. Brighton is quite hilly. Next time, I will try the evening meals, as the local pubs were busy and noisy.. Though, not the problem of Inis

Staff friendly. Breakfast good and varied. Location, very near to main line station and right near 'The Lanes'. Also a bar at the hotel.
When checking in i think it would be really useful to say to guests when they use the lift to return to Reception or the Ground Floor that it is showing up in the lift as Level 3. I was confused, having gone into the hotel on the ground floor and the Reception area but to return to it was Level 3. Admittedly it did state clearly in the lift that this is the case, but 'one' doesn't always read everything and i was expecting it to say G for Ground.
