The property was very clean. Easy to access & proximity to city centre & beach

One of the gentleman at the check in desk didn't come across as very welcoming at the time of check in. He did improve his conduct on later interactions. Vegetarian choice is not very good. Was offered Veg sausages, but they were not cooked well & felt very dry too.

Every single staff member I encountered from front desk & managers to works staff & cleaning team were outstanding.extremely positive, warm, friendly, and nothing was too much much trouble. Also the self catering facilities and general level of comfort means I’d always pick this place over others in the area, as was great to be able to store & prepare food & drink. Very comfortable and I liked the flooring and general vibe of the place. Also really handy being close to the station..

Nothing! Although if there was an unloading bay at hotel level that would be a bonus, as the lift from station car park is currently out of action, and I had lots of heavy bags. There are disabled bays at hotel level for blue badge holders. I didn’t mind the exercise, but it made check in quite a work out, and those with heavy bags/unfit/unsteady on their feet might struggle. Not the hotel’s fault at all, and it was useful to have the trolly to transport luggage from entrance to room and back.

Breakfast was included in the price of accommodation which is always good. There was a good choice of cooked breakfast, fruit and cereals. Pastries and cold meets and cheese also available. Staff in the breakfast were so helpful and pleasant. In our room we had an issue with our emergency buzzer as the detachable shower head sprayed water over it. This caused the alarm to go off and not reset. This was fixed by the amazing maintenance man Martin who was also good enough to leave us a wee gift of a chocolate bar for the inconvenience.

Hot water urn for tea unfortunately was cold both mornings but there was tea and coffee in the rooms so I had a tea when I went back to my room. As with all buffet breakfast industrial toasters they never seem to toast bread, just heats it up. The detachable shower head could not be secured at different height and so you had to hold it in you hand to wash yourself down. This was the only way to keep hair dry.

Staff was friendly and accommodating & professional, check in was easy. The room was okay the bathroom was very nice. Me and my son absolutely loved the gym its not huge but what i liked is that it's open 24 hours and when me and my son went there around 10pm there was no one in there and as an introverted person this was my dream come true! Not sure how it is at other times though. There is also a games den which i can't recall seeing on the advert on booking.com but i could be wrong and not have seen it, so was really good to find out they had a gaming room with a pool table it also had sofas and board games and chess and books. We would book again in the future, brekfast was okay it was limited the hot food only 4 items wasn't that great but can't complain as it was free. Didn't really hear any noise from anyone else as i think there was some form of soundproofing. Had a problem switching on the cooker lady came up.within a few minutes to sort it out and done it in like 10 seconds which was appreciated while in the middle.of trying to cook for my son. Washing up liquid was provided and a sponge and dishwasher tablets shampoo conditioner.

The room was clean and okay, but i did notice alot of water marks on the cupboards in the kitchen i went to wipe it off to see if it would come off and it did, so appears that was not cleaned properly. Everything else was fine. Pets are allowed i brought my dog along but in the booking confirmation it said you can't leave them in the room by there self to go out this wasn't clear to me before booking but was okay for us because we was only there for a night. But they are allowed elsewhere in the hotel just not in the dining room. But over all we enjoyed our stay. Pillows was very thin and cheap feeling. Bed okay.no windows that open was very hot in the afternoon and didn't do much. Would be vetter putting a fan in the room, we enjoyed our stay though and would book again.

Location Superb , for us anyway, 2 mins walk down the back of the Station.Minutes from the North Laines.Sainsbury's Store very near for refreshments, snack etc etc, OR Meals cooked in your Room with this Hotel ! We normally stay down the Seafront end but this was nice and different for a change.ROOM was great PLUS a Kitchen with Fridge etc etc, great concept here.Don't believe the reviews about Breakfast, its basic but actually very good, all you need to start the day, you could be quite greedy if you wanted to be, see my piccies.They do either sausages Or Bacon on different days and the extras/other options you can see, if something has run out just ask and they bring more. OH and again a Great Room,Bathroom,TV,Space was really good.Nice quality feel to the whole place, Posh Suites feel to it. Superb Staff with great attitude and ready to do all they can for you, are they on shares or Commission ?? ha ha.It's VERY nearly a 10/10 place.

Not much to dislike really, try it out. They need to buy another Coffee Machine !!!! One is not enough for all Guests at Breakfast time, and maybe another Toaster. Also inform Guests that Breakfast runs later (Longer ? ) at weekends, we did not need to rush, had we known. PLEASE explain to visitors they can just walk down the back of the Station to the Hotel reception, if travelling fairly light it's much quicker.Literally don't walk out the Station, go left and out the back, Lift and Stairs there.

First impression of the area was that it was quite run down but it was actually a very lively neighbourhood with 2 excellent pubs (The Basketmakers and The Foundry) just a few minutes walk away.

Because my wife had made the reservation on Booking.com the check-in agent did not credit my IHG Gold Elite points or allow me to benefit from the advertised rate reduction at the London Road car park which was mentioned on the web page. They need to make it clear that this does. Or apply to Booking.com customers.

Staff were 10/10. Wonderful people who have a genuine care towards their guests. The suite we had was the king size suite - spacious, super clean and lovely standalone bath tub! Wish breakfast had a few more items (veg sausages or mushrooms) but the items there were 10/10 in quality and flavour. We would stay here again.

Decent location but about a 30 minute walk to the pier. Brighton is quite hilly so you’ll find yourself having to go up and down lots of steps. It wasn’t bad for us. We had good weather when we went. Convenient location in terms of local Sainsbury’s and shops like Pret nearby.

What a little gem, close to the station. It looked and felt brand new. The bed was very comfortable, in fact the whole room was excellent! Breakfast was included in the price and was yummy, the only teeny thing to mention was the lack of bacon as a choice, but don't let that put you off - there was plenty to choose from. Parking isn't available but the station car park is the cheapest and closest, I popped into the hotel when we arrived and they gave me directions. Pay in the hotel, they have a QR code in reception that makes it very easy. The staff were very friendly and efficient

The Queen Studio Suite was a good size, bed very comfy, little kitchen area surprisingly well-equipped. Nice toiletries (incl. conditioner). Such friendly reception staff. Best plus point is the location: handy for station (exit station from the rear near taxi rank, go down steps/take lift, and there you are), and easy reach of everything. And yet quiet! Have stayed a number of times elsewhere in Brighton and noise has been the downside if central. Will stay here again for sure.

nothing - all was great for its price point. Only because we're board-gamers I'd say a bigger table in the room would have been welcome (there was room). However we took our games down to the communal eating area tables after breakfast hours.

Everything exceeded expectation and value was excellent Location ideal and easy to reach Close to the centre but none of the noise. Supremely quiet Room size large, bed comfortable and king size Bathroom large, walk-in shower and a standalone, large bath. Excellent. Kitchenette looked very well equipped but did not use Breakfast very decent and the breakfast room was very pleasant. No crowding or queuing. Staff very friendly at all times. The breakfast staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Clean in all areas. Even enabled early check-in (with a smile) as the room was ready. Such a bonus
