I have stayed at the Langford hotel many times over the years, and I have always been very happy with all aspects of my stay. The rooms are clean and quiet and the beds are always comfortable. This time I left home without my phone charger. The phone's battery was draining fast! Nirash on reception helpfully charged it for me, thus avoiding a crisis. Thank you! The hotel is conveniently placed for the beach, and parking spaces are outside. (always use the middle lane if you are staying overnight) The spaces next to the kerb have a maximum 2 hour stay. 2 doors down is the Oeuf Cafe offering breakfast, brunch and cocktails, plus delicious vegan and veggie options. Booking advised.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff. This is a lovely hotel that is in the process of being refurbished so not everything is perfect but it was great as a convenient and quiet base for our stay with on street parking free over night and then paid by the hour.

Nothing...This hotel is perfect for a short stay if you are not super fussy or on a budget - there is no bar /food at present so just understand that this is a work in progress.

I made a reservation here, but Landford asked me to stay at OYO ALBANY on The Drive instead, and I'm SO HAPPY THEY DID! I just completed an 11-day stay at OYO ALBANY and everyone was SO NICE, HELPFUL, AND WONDERFUL. I had a different room than I had my last stay. All the rooms are different and have unique characteristics. It was clean and comfortable, and has a huge window! I love OYO ALBANY and will definitely stay again! THANK YOU, OYO ALBANY! YOU'RE THE BEST!

There were no problems with the location, easy to find. I had a room at the top of the house, ok if you are in a wheel chair that would be no good, if you don't mind staairs which I didn't mind ok. The bed linen and the towels were fresh and clean. the beds mattress was very springy, but I managed to sleep ok. The bathroom area was clean as well. I must say, that when I arrived at this hotel, there was parking but you had to pay for it. Whilst I was unloading my stuff out of the car, I asked the receptionist if it was alright to leave it there, he said the wardens had been round earlier in the day, and shouldn't come back again( the time I arrived was about five oclock), went upstairs with my things, just about to jump in the shower as I had just driven from Plymouth, when the my phone rang, it was the receptionist, his name was BASSETT, who informed me the wardens were back again. I put a shirt on and some pants, ran down the stairs like mad, saw the wardens, who didn't give me a ticket, and advised me to park in a different spot which wouldn't cause me or them a problem. If it wasn't for BASSETT, not only did fuel cost me, but a £60.00 ticket on top would have made my outlay alot worse, so lots of praise for Bassett.

The price that I paid for a one night stay was about right, if I had to pay more, then I would of chosen another hotel.

If this hotel was further refurbished it would be 5 plus * I had a deluxe double the room was huge and plenty hot water for a relaxing bath each evening. My balcony had asea glimpse view to the right, whichbI could enjoy a cup of tea looking at. The bed was very comfortable, clean white bedding and towels

Old loo brush could have been easily renewed at very low cost . The balcony was very plain and could have been prettier. If the furniture and carpet had been renewed it would probably have been unaffordable.

Stayed here for the Brighton Marathon excellent location for the finish line, just what my legs needed after finishing was a short walk. Wonderfully helpful staff you just need to ask.and they will sort anything out for you. Not the most modern hotel but a lovely spacious room, nice size bath and whilst it could do with a bit of a return it was fine for a couple of nights I would stay here again.

This place was great. Best postion ever. Near the main town and only 2 minutes walk to the seafront. Bus links stop only 2 minute walk away. Nice cosy room with tv etc. Had sea view. But most of all how friendly the staff were. I needed help staying a few hours after check out. No problem. Definitely 100 percent stay here again. Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated xxx

The staff were friendly and so accommodating! Anything we needed they were happy to help! We ran out of tea as we're tea-aholics!! They gave us so much more along with the milk and sugar! They were absolutely fantastic! Especially as their renovating the whole hotel!

Nothing! If your understanding of how long renovation takes, then this hotel is wonderful and big!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beds comfortable and area quiet. Excellent location but beware no car park - Brighton seems to be largely street parking using a parking app. We decided to use a ‘just park’ type app and got a good deal on a space nearby. Great cafe next door too. X

Room was on the top floor and typically shower pressure was low - only a trickle really. Slight leak from the toilet too.
