The staff was excellent, they welcomed us warmly and accommodated our requests as it was our anniversary. The room was very good, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was excellent, and the parking was convenient, though it was chargeable. It would be nice if parking were free for guests.

The pool was small and not exclusive to hotel guests. it was open to the public. Most of the time it was crowded, as they were conducting swimming lessons for local residents. It was constantly busy, loud, and full of children, which made it difficult to relax.

The lady on reception was one of probably the smiliest and happiest person ever to welcome me in a hotel. This makes a huge difference when you have had long journey and she lifted my spirits! - The bar staff not so much. The hotel is nice, the bed in particular was very comfortable and one of the best nights sleep I have had. Food nice.

All ok, nothing negative to bring up, I had a nice stay. Thanks. If the price was a little lighter and the bar staff were not miserable then it would have been a 10.

Nice big rooms, comfy beds , the staff were polite and friendly , room service was great.

The heating/air con wasnt working in our room, we just had a small heater, i thought we may have been offered a different room where the heating/air con did work as i would assume all the rooms werent booked. The steam room was brilliant, but the jacuzzi and pool were a little on the cool side. The leisure centre itself could just do with smartening up a bit, the mens changing rooms are very shabby.

Location, cost and general finish of the hotel was great

Pretty noisy area of hotel during the night so didn't sleep well. We were not by a lift shaft but could hear mechanical noises periodically during the night not sure what it was.

Upon entering we were greeted with the utmost kindness and respect unlike anything we have experienced in a very long time in regards to customer service. Beverly definitely set the tone for a lovely evening. Her service was astounding, and her approach warm, and welcoming! Rooms were clean and tidy with everything we needed including a hairdryer which is really important! Beds were super comfy and location to m6 and local amenities were brill! I was staying here on business , layout is good and easy access to upstairs, staff helpful. Tesco and other shops near by call in to there to get confectionery etc

Rooms need redocarating as they are starting to look tired. Breakfast was expensive and the choice wasn't great They have a self serve for confectionery but again this was extortionate in price ..for example over £2 for the likes of a snickers and kit Kat's etc.

we had an accessible room, due to my partner being disabled. the room was huge, the bed was huge. the room was very clean. The Menu, the food and the restaurant itself were excellent. But the most amazing part of our stay was the staff. The staff are totally amazing, they really care and take a pride in making sure everything is perfect for the guests. All were cheerful and polite at all times in spite of how busy they were.

The only slight issue is that the main part of the room is very dark, my partner is visually impaired and while the lighting in the bathroom was excellent the little lamps etc in the rest of the room were not enough. Could do with having one main bright ceiling light added.

Lovely comfortable, spacious hotel with excellent lounges, bar and restaurant areas. This hotel is located off a main road and close to the motorway but it was so quiet with no traffic noise at all. The bedrooms were comfortable with comfy extra large beds. All hotel staff were professional, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The offer that children eat free at breakfast and dinner with paying adults was a great offer. Having a swimming pool with really warm water was also an added bonus especially having our grandchildren with us. Being pet friendly was the most important point for us. So thank you.

Providing bottled water in the bedroom on arrival and each day if possible, along with biscuits to have with tea and coffee would be an added bonus. Free parking should be included in the price for all customers staying overnight at the hotel.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting my father in the nearby hospital. Room was an excellent standard, spotlessly clean, very spacious and well-appointed, with air conditioning, bath and shower, tea and coffee facilities, very comfortable bed, everything you could need. Check in was quick and easy, as was check out. Dinner in the restaurant was of a decent quality, as was the breakfast buffet, which had extensive continental options, as well as a limited hot buffet.

Staff going the extra mile to resolve issues. Beverley was extremely professional and apologised for the way we had been treated and forgotten about at check in. She sorted out a room upgrade and waived the parking costs. Also agreed to pay for our drinks as we should have been looked after like that whilst we were waiting. Stacey was brilliant when eating in the restaurant. We had a few issues with my partners steak not being right. She was determined to resolve it. And went the extra mile to do so.

Arrived 10 minutes before check-in, we were told the room isn't ready, take a seat, and I'll come over and let you know when it's ready. After sitting there for 45 minutes, watching numerous people come in and get checked in. I approached a different member of staff to ask why we had to wait, whilst everyone else could check in. The 'leisure centre' changing rooms were very tired. The socket next to the bed was fizzing and arcing when something was plugged into it.
