This venue is beautiful, a historic building with all the charm of a traditional quaint country pub yet with a modern vibe. Our room was a nice size front-facing and had a beautiful roll-top Bath, Which was a nice authentic feature, I loved. The bed was comfortable and my partner and I slept, this venue is in such a quiet place it would be difficult to not sleep like a log. There is a variety of options when it comes to activities to participate In. The surrounding area offers amazing views, perfect for an adventure on foot or for avid cyclers. The food was exceptional in my opinion, Breakfast was ample, with good quality ingredients consisting of all the British favourites, eggs, sausage, bacon etc, and a choice of beverages. There is also an on-site bakery serving pasties etc. Perfect if you wish to venture off with a few snacks. Dinner had a varied choice of dishes all were extremely well presented, I opted for the delicious steak and my partner had the battered fish we were both impressed with our meals. The hosts were friendly and attentive. We had a lovely time, our only regret was we weren't able to stay longer this time, But would 100% stay here again.☺️

There was nothing to not like. Maybe a small mirror on the dresser to enable one to dry hair, the wire from the dryer was too short to reach the mirror on the closet.

Breakfast was lovely, we also had a meal in the evening which was delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location is absolutely gorgeous, only a short walk onto footpaths up to Leith Hill.

The tray of complimnetary coffee and tea left in the room was a bit off putting. It was not very clean, cups looks unwashed and the selection of coffee/tea was not great. The same in the bathroom. If you nip away for a night, its quite nice to not have to pack any soap etc and to enjoy a local suppliers lovley soap/shampoo. I think this could be so much better and let them down a little, as it is a gorgeous pub in a stunning location.

The staff member was most welcoming when I arrived reminding me that my breakfast was included in the price I paid. I'm Coeliac and he was most accommodating explaining which menu options for both breakfast and dinner would be suitable for me. The chef was also on hand to confirm everything. They even had a dedicated gluten free deep fryer. Dinner was a really tasty tender bavette steak. Breakfast was really delicious and the staff member explained that I could choose absolutely anything on the menu so (since I'd just returned from a run up to Leith Hill Tower and back) I mixed a few things around from a few different choices. The cappuccino he made me was simply divine - a double shot was not too much to ask for and not only did he offer me another one, but (literally) topped it off with quality hand-grated dark chocolate on the top.

Quiet location in lovely countryside. Friendly and helpful staff. Great cooked breakfast.

Would be nice to have serve-yourself cereal, juice, fruit options at breakfast. We had some confusion over the included breakfast. We were told we could choose anything off the menu, but having both chosen muesli plus full English everything was delivered at the same time. Then we were told that they didn't like us ordering multiple items. So cereal plus cooked breakfast is presumably not really an option?

Location is stunning, like a picture postcard. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful. The bed was a dream, incredibly comfortable.

Very minor things. Could have done with some local information in the room. It's advertised as having a trouser press in the room. It doesn't, but there was an iron in the corridor so I used that (perhaps that's what they mean, and that the iron is there purposely for everyone to use?) The gentleman who checked me in wasn't aware of the facility. Tea bags, didn't try them....they looked to be herbal. Could be slightly noisy in the evenings (single pane windows) but this was minimal and just general chit chat, not rowdy crowds, and this stopped pretty early on. so sleep wasn't disturbed.

We came with our bikes and were really happy that the staff provided secure parking for our bikes. The pub is very comfortable and in a nice location if you’re after walking or cycling around Surrey hills. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was nice, with great toiletries. Kettle, tea and coffee provided.

The room was just above the kitchen where staff played loud music which could be clearly heard in the room. Not great when the whole point of being there was to be in the quiet and close to nature. But the team was very professional and when we mentioned this the music was turned off.

our hosts Enes and Ozgun were wonderful and took very good care of us. Dinner and Breakfast were excellent with very generous portions and the pub has a nice warm atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable.

very minor criticisms - there was only one bedside lamp and the towel rail leaked a bit and did not come on. nothing that really bothered us! The shop is a seperate business but we got the impression that they sold more organic/fresh produce than they do, it would have been nice to buy some provisions for our journey home.

Lovely pub, with a friendly vibe. Fabulous breakfast. Food was good and reasonably priced. Good selection of beers and cider.

We were disappointed with our room. It felt like someone had started to prepare the room but not finished it. Hairdryer plugged in on floor by the bed. Only 1 pillow per person and a really uncomfortable metal headboard. 1 spare pillow in wardrobe without a pillow case. Needed to ask for more tea and milk, as only one tea bag and milk carton each, but there was no issue with supplying this when we asked. Would have scored much higher for accommodation with attention to these small details.

Lovely country pub run by very friendly staff. The room was tiny but quiet and comfortable, had everything we could ask for. We also enjoyed a fabulous dinner there, the food was amazing. Great base for some nature walks in the surrounding areas. Great breakfast and beautiful beer garden.

The mattress was a little too soft for our like, but that's the only thing really.

Great little place to get a way from it all. Off the beaten track, but lovely walk up Leith Hill straight opposite. Food was exceptional and piping hot. Only had a small double room, but adequate for a nights sleep as dark and peaceful.

Could do with a holder in shower to put Shampoo, soap etc. Be mindful, as steps up to the rooms from outside, but not a problem for us.
