The room had an amazing view and our room was clean. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

The food from the restaurant was very poor - my dinner was bland and chewy. Food prices were very high. There was limited choice at breakfast and food wasn’t very fresh. It was sadly one of the worst coffees we’d ever had. The room service menu was very limited and very expensive. We were given inactive keys to our room twice by the third attempt a different receptionist told us we’d been given the wrong keys.

The friendliness of the staff. I was greeted by Meghan and was friendly and informative answering all my questions.as soon as I arrived. Kia and Steven who work in the restaurant were both attentive and Steven made the best Mai Tai cocktail I have ever had.

The gentleman in charge of the breakfast room on my last day was the only member of staff that was not helpful. When I asked if I could have poached eggs he told me to go and speak to the chef myself. I then had to wait while the chef prepared them. The lady in charge on the other two mornings arranged for my eggs to be cooked and then brought them to my table. This may seem a bit petty but it was the only negative experience I had.

A fine hotel with kind and helpful staff. Rooms were very well equipped and maintained. Views of the Firth of Forth were grand. The restaurant was was first class with a decent selection of well cooked food.

Charging £200 per night, providing the smallest toilet paper I have ever seen seems an unnecessary economy. I was also painfully thin. The combination made personal hygiene difficult. The hotel would benefit from a battery operated transfer vehicle to and from the local station. Taxi provision is limited and to walk from North Queensferry station with luggage entails many very steep stairs. Very difficult for old/inform tourists.

Best thing? Welcome cookies! 🍪 Room was clean and tidy with comfortable big double bed. We specifically liked the electrical sockets for EU chargers as we didn’t have an adapter. Tasty breakfast and nice choice of delicious options for a la carte dinner in the dining room with splendid view of the bridges. Very good location if you have a rent a car as there is wide free parking lot and good connection with Airport and Edinburgh. There is also a bus station just next to the hotel (20 min ride) to the centre of Edinburgh. Staff is very friendly, cleaning lady made our day with her sense of humour (check the picture).

Spacious room and bathroom. Very clean. Plenty of big towels. Lots of hot water. The room itself was cold at times. Very nice bar area. I am Coeliac and appreciated the gluten free section at breakfast - a good selection of GF items kept separate from the rest of the food. Reception staff were excellent, also the bar and restaurant staff. A nice gym.

The room was cold and we couldn't get the temperature to increase. My husband rang reception and they said it was controlled from there so they turned it up for us. It's a bit inconvenient. The cold selection at breakfast was good but my husband was disappointed with the cooked breakfast, saying that the sausage and tomatoes were poor quality and the bacon not cooked decently. He expected better for £214 for one night.

Well situated by the bridge, easy to park, spacious room. It was a nice touch to get a cookie on arrival. The room was clean, had lovely views and the bed was very comfortable, slept really well! Breakfast was pretty decent too.

The server at the restaurant for dinner was a young lass who kept ignoring us, it was incredibly awkward. She wasn’t rude per se, just incredibly socially awkward and very slow - we were waiting a long time in between courses and had already finished eating for a long while when I decided to get up and go pay by the bar as she simply wouldn’t come check in on us or look towards us so I couldn’t get her attention. Very strange situation.

The location is amazing, it is a short 15 minute walk from North Queensferry, has a bus stop on the road next to it and has a train station a further 20 minutes from it, has very beautiful views of the bridges and the bay, very good public transport links into Edinburgh and to and from the airport, staff were also incredibly polite and friendly and eager to help with any problems you have. the room is well layed out and is nice and bright, it has one EU plug socket and had a mini fridge and hairdryer, all of which were handy.

the main issue we faced was the temperature, as it was constantly rather cold in our room no matter what the temperature was changed to, the TV was also rather old and does not support any casting features or netflix, which made watching anything quite annoying, the beds are also extremely uncomfortable with the pillows they give you being hard and the mattress is also quite firm. the bathroom is also quite poorly designed, when you use the sink it splashes off the plug outwards and the shower is rather cramped as there is a handlebar in the middle of the shower where you would want to stand.

The room was great, with a fab view, the breakfast was a good spread and tasty, parking was easy, and we had a very late check-in which was no issue at all.

The shower head needed descaling as jets were shooting in different directions and the floor flooded badly with water coming out under the bathroom door! The breakfast orange juice was only available when requested whereas other juices were self-[service, which was very weird - we also had to ask for replenishments so someone was not watching what was running out.

We had the most amazing experience at Double tree , Queensferry crossing ,during Christmas break! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff (Magda) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The highlight was the beautiful upgraded room we were given, which made our family holiday extra special. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring we all felt right at home. The hotel’s attention to detail, from festive decorations to personalized touches for our celebration, truly made this stay unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the team ensured every moment was seamless and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Double tree Hilton ,Queensferry ,for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this.

Room was great value for money considering it was Easter holidays. Huge bed, comfy pillows, easy check in and express check out. Breakfast was included in our stay, buffet type style, was good selection and set us up for the day. Only minor was some of the room/bathroom needs some t|c. Some bits of carpet were disintegrated, paint chipped off walls and bathroom ceiling above shower. Shower door itself needed cleaned where joins the bath and silicone replaced as this made bathroom smell damp. Even considering these issues I'd still happily return!!!
