Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, although I could have used another pillow. I must admit when booking I'd overlooked the shared bathroom note, but there were no problems and the facilities there were very clean, and washing materials were provided in your room. TV offered a good choice of viewing options. Room was well cleaned and overall I had a very pleasant stay. Recption staff were very friendly and helpful.

The size of the room, the options of channels on the TV and the quietness of the area. The location of the hotel in relation to Public Transport links were also good.

The accommodations provided were clean and exceptionally comfortable, complemented by an outstanding level of service from the staff. They demonstrated remarkable flexibility by permitting us to check in early or late. I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an amazing experience! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the city, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special thanks to the guy at the reception, Sahil, who went above and beyond to make my stay even better. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. His hospitality truly made a difference! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable stay.

The room was comfortable and quite clean, staff was friendly and kind, I was able to sleep peacefully for the two nights I was there without hassle, the size of the room was perfect for two people, even better for one!

The only thing I could fault was that the toilet was wobbly and felt as if it would break and that there was no locks on the door which isn't too much of an issue, but as a female who was travelling by myself, a simple key door didn't feel entirely safe

It was very clean and tidy Bed linen was fresh Tea making facilities were available.. Breakfast was great and ready when you wanted it. Hot shower ..toiletries supplied .. The reception staff were brilliant too welcoming, well mannered and helpful. It's just over a mile from train station to hotel so literally just over 5 minutes from train to hotel ...you can walk it but we took a taxi it was £7.60 I will definitely be staying there again..

Staff were fantastic, could not have been more accommodating, polite and friendly

The breakfast only had whole milk where most places have semi skimmed, we were given no menu or choice of hot breakfast it was full English, like it or no, maybe we should have asked but we will know better next time

Comfy, safe bed for the night while we were out exploring Newcastle. 24 hour check-in meant we could check in late from doing activities with no problem. Staff were very friendly. Comfy, clean and warm. Great affordable hotel for if you're visiting Newcastle for a day or two. And Netflix on the TV!

The ammeneties were a bit temperamental, toilet seat loose, shower head fell a few times ect but nothing too major. Walls were quite thin but other guests were very respectful and this wasn't a big issue.

Location is great, 10 mins walk to Gateshead bus interchange, buses to county Durham or Newcastle and further. Metro station within the interchange as well. On site parking...cheap at £3 per day.

Lots of stairs and corridors but staff are very helpful and friendly and will accommodate if you have difficulty.

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest option I could find and I wanted to spend a couple of days exploring Newcastle. The price was good and I was very happy with my stay overall. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly, check in was easy and the room was clean and as described. The inclusive breakfast is worth a shout out - it was home-made and cooked fresh each morning and really kept me going for the day. It was basically a full English with coffee. The location was pretty good, I was able to walk into Newcastle each morning, took about 25 minutes and there were a few different routes to choose from (depending on what time of day is was). Parking was free and convenient.

The hallways smelt a bit bad, I think this hotel has had some problems in the past with antisocial behaviour from guests but they seem to be trying to get back on track.
