Very large modern spacious rooms with an excellent shower. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Having a swimming pool and hot tub was an excellent facility which drew me to picking the hotel and was a lovely temperature.
Although I didn't mind paying additionally to use the swimming pool and hot tub I did feel this should have been a one off payment instead of each time you wanted to use the facility. Ideally this could have been free and included within the room price.

Breakfast was varied and they kept it well stocked, The coffee was nice, and the haggis on the buffet was really delicious. The room was incredibly comfortable, I loved that it was completely pitch black and had no light pollution. The shower had nice pressure and warmed up very quickly. The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room.
Some of the food on the breakfast buffet was a bit bland. The pastries weren't very tasty, the eggs weren't well seasoned, and the fruit was a bit sad looking. The health club was clean and well maintained but i felt the gym equipment was too basic and there need to be more plates for weightlifting. There isnt much the hotel can do about this but the area the hotel is in felt a bit shady and i had to be aware walking about when it was dark at night.

Clean comfortable warm room Chocolate cookie when we arrived Excellent meal I had some breakfast which was good but I did not make full use of this service Convenient parking and a lift to each floor
We thought the television in the room would have more features ie netflix We did have use of the hotel internet so could get it on our laptop if needed There was a fire alarm at 2am of the 19th January where everyone was evacuated onto the street. The evacuation went speedily and without fuss and nearly everyone was outside when the fire engines arrived less than 10 minutes after the fire alarm activated One thing that did surprise us was that people were allowed to go back up the fire escapes to their rooms only to find the doors to each landing closed . I know it is only a minor point but a member of staff should have been outside to make sure the fire escapes were not used for re entering the building

Room was very comfortable, the bed too and a good size, the bathroom was spotless with a good bath and shower. The TV well placed opposite the bed. There was desk space too to allow work at my computer and ample wardrobe space for a short stay. The fitness suite was good, although it was difficult to swim in a busy pool. The self service breakfast was plentiful. The location was perfect for my needs, with a 5 minute walk from the bus station and close to the programme I had planned in Glasgow.
This is not a big complaint, but as a single traveller, when I left my breakfast table unattended to go to the buffet area, my table was frustratingly cleared on several occasions before I had actually finished and on one occasion my table was given to another family and I had to be re seated. I appreciate that the hotel was very busy.

The hotel was amazing, the beds are comfortable. It's spotless clean. The breakfasts are great with a huge selection to choose from. The staff are helpful & friendly and it's situated in walking distance from shops, restaurants, bars etc.
The rooms don't have a fridge. I was told that if I needed to store anything, I could bring it to reception & they would put it in their fridge. That's so inconvenient for people. I enjoyed my stay but unfortunately won't stay there again because of this. They provide irons, ironing boards & hairdryers, while being convenient I think a fridge is MUCH more important.

The property was in the centre of Glasgow so everything was either within walking distance or a quick uber. From entering the hotel and checking in the staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, we thought the welcome cookies were a lovely touch! The rooms were lovely, clean and had plenty of space. Throughout the hotel there was a lovely fragranced smell which I thought was lovely! The pool was lovely, could be used as single, couple or family. There was a hot tub in the pool area too and sun loungers which was a nice little added extra! Over all as a couple we loved the hotel and would definitely be back.

Eventually getting the room i booked
Being told on arrival the de luxe twin room i booked in advance was unavailable, i could get a twin with no air conditioning ( it was broken) at a reduced rate. I declined and was informed “ we are very busy” not my problem, i expect to be given the room i booked in advance . If thats not available i expect an upgrade, not a downgrade of a room with air con that doesnt work. When i declined all of the above, all of a sudden the room type i booked was available. Not the hassle i expected on arrival., it puts me off booking with Hilton again I am also still waiting on a reply to my request for an early check in, the room was fine the experience was poor.

The only observation I would make is the inefficiency at the check in purely being caused by the check in staff also having to take bags ( when travellers check in early before the room is ready ) taking them away from their principal job of checking in guess, causing unnecessary queuing. Simply solved by having a porter on hand to take the baggage to the storage area and not the check in staff who have their own job to do. This is not a criticism of any of the staff but the management for not observing this issue. The whole experience bar this was excellent.

Ease of access from car park to reception. The Christmas tree and decorations were beautiful. Friendly, receptive, informative staff. The Blonde receptionist at 15.12 was lovely! Very welcoming. Checked us in smoothly. It was a surprise to find we had been upgraded free of extra charge. The suite was clean. We rang down for a milk alternative. A lovely receptionist came up with it. She was so friendly. Both ladies were Lovely. The restaurant staff were very attentive and welcoming. Lucy helped us with the menu as I’m lactose intolerant. The chef adjusted the roast chicken meal. It was delicious. As was the brisket my partner thoroughly enjoyed. The desserts were lovely too. Thank you
The coffee machine in the buffet restaurant next to the cereals dispensed coffee that tasted acidic. It was as if the pipes had been cleaned but not rinsed through. There weren’t any plant based yoghurts to go with the fruit. The attendant in the executive lounge on Saturday afternoon was brusque. We felt as if we were in his way. Late Saturday evening the executive lounge. We didn’t see any staff to ask for assistance. The Chinese visitors raided the fridge and probably the basket and put it in their bags as they left the lounge. There wasn’t anyone monitoring that.

Stayed for my nieces 14th birthday treat and the staff were fantastic at organising banners balloons and chocolates for the room for us arriving. It was clean, comfortable and the location is so handy for city centre. The one thing that let it down was the pool - it was absolutely roasting, the water was too hot, there was no air con, the paint was flaking off the underside of the stairs and the steam room was out of order. We visited 7 years ago and it didn’t look like any work had been done on it since then so we didn’t stay in long. It could do with upgrading.
