Brilliant location for a concert we were attending. Could not fault the staff, they were very informative and lovely to deal with. Booking out car into the car park was easy, just register the reg place on the screen at the side of check-in. plenty spaces and good value for money to use. We were offered to add on breakfast at check-in, very glad we did, Breakfast was so good. the food was hot and fresh. Tables in the restaurant were clean and well spaced out. The room we had was ample for our needs, the bed surprised us with how comfortable it was. We both slept really well on it.

The bathroom in the the room(229) was very cramped. The toilet was facing the back of the bathroom door, and with the door opening/closing it is mere millimetres from hitting the toilet. My partner is 6"3 and just opted to keep the door open. Not ideal. I know you can't just take the doors off but for such a small space a pocket door in the design would have been ideal. The fan in the bathroom did not seem to be working when showering, we could find no switch or button to turn it on and we were both worried it would set off the smoke alarm. The bathroom really let this room down.

Lovely room, with a great view of the Squinty bridge and the Clyde. it was worth paying a little extra for an upgrade for a river view. Despite being quite close to the bridge and a busy road, traffic noise wasn't intrusive, even with the window open. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice from traditional cooked 'full Scottish' (with haggis) to continental. One of the few hotesl where I've stayed that had non dairy options for yoghurt and milk. The restaurant has great views of the river. Staff were helpful and welcoming. We had a very good stay, and will stay there again when we are working at another event at SEC. Parking was easy, even with a high top van.

Somehow the staff missed out making up our room on the second morning - not sure why, we hadn't put out a 'do not disturb' notice - but the staff at reception sorted out fresh towels, teabags etc. for us when we got in that evening.

Nice hotel overlooking the river. Rooms are clean and comfortable (if a little on the small side). Restaurant is surprisingly good for such a small hotel and the food was great, especially breakfast. Good gluten free menu separate to the usual menu, thank you! Staff were, on the whole, helpful and friendly. Service in the restaurant in the evening was rather slow although we weren't in a particular hurry. Car parking right next to the hotel is super convenient. It's possible to walk into the centre from the hotel. About 20 minutes to Kelvingrove on foot.

Welcome on reception was abrupt and unfriendly. I was a little shocked initially and nearly commented on it but as we were with family I decided not to. The person on reception was "in training" and urgently needs coaching on greeting guests in a way that doesn't sound like you're an irritation. Shower gel dispenser in the shower not working. This should have been spotted when the room was cleaned. If you have asked for a river view be prepared for noise from the terrace area below. We had people under our window loudly talking very early in the morning which was a shame, but otherwise we slept well.

All the staff in this hotel were fantastic, very professional, caring and treated you as an individual. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are quite compact, but the super comfy beds more than make up for that. Shower was great! Breakfast was fantastic, as were all the staff. The reception staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. ISMAIL was outstanding he was warm, welcoming and charming. I forgot my phone charger and he charged my phone for me. At the end of the day if you want a hotel with great staff, clean rooms and fantastic breakfasts go to Hilton Gardens Glasgow.

Check in and check out were fine, we liked the room, it was clean and quiet (no street noise or from other rooms) and enjoyed the river view. Our dinner was very tasty and great selection on the breakfast buffet. Overall, would recommend.

The room was very cold when we entered, the heating is through a fan on the ceiling and it is quite loud so if you are a light sleeper it can be challenging. At the restaurant, the server took our order but forgot to send it to the kitchen, so our food took forever to come but at least it was well cooked and good portions.

Clean hotel and a good sized room. Breakfast was fast and not crowded (was down for 9.30am) reception staff were very good and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy and in a good standard of up keep.

The tables in the bar were littered with empty glasses (this was at 6pm) and a blonde lady at the hotel bar was quite rude and basically every time I approached the bar she walked away (maybe didn't like my aftershave) two other ladies at the bar were brilliant and very helpful. We had two drinks and left not least of all as the blonde lady created a very bad atmosphere. Shame as without this we may have stayed longer.

Although the room was on the small side, there was plentiful storage and wardrobe space. Bed was very comfortable with choice of pillows. Hairdryer was a bonus, also fridge, iron and ironing table. Breakfast was excellent with a wide and varied choice of hot and cold food.

Some furniture in the room was badly marked and could do with either being repaired or replaced. Several apparent and large stains on the carpet. Curtains, too, had marks/stains. However, these minor points did not detract from the comfort of the room.

The property is in a good place and was clean and tidy

The garden furniture needed replaced on some parts and the dining table in the restaurant was levelled with a large carrier bad with something inside which was not very attractive. There was one staff member (young tall guy with light brown hair) who was not very pleasant. This guy did not provide good customer service skills to us when my husband sat down and immediately realised the seat was not stable and when he pointed it out the guy did not even make eye contact with us and pulled the chair away saying it’s fine it’s fine placing it at the table next to us instead of removing it. Working in customer service myself for the last 30 years I know it should have been removed and checked to avoid future accidents.

Very Clean well maintained communal areas & toilets, breakfast was fresh, hot and replenished continuously. Rooms were very clean, & had everything you’d need, if not a call or trip to reception, & staff go above and beyond to sort your request. 2 staff members in particular made our stay…. Ismail on reception, never had a welcome like it, so welcoming & friendly, from his ‘hello to goodbye’ nothing was too much trouble for this young Man an asset to the Hilton. Stephen in Restaurant also couldn’t do enough for diners, so friendly and gave us great suggestions on where to go/visit. The hotel is in prime position right on the river, & the Ovo literally a 2 min walk perfect if your going to an event! Walk into town takes around 20 mins & only £6 in an Uber! Perfect stay

Short walk from Exhibition Station. Check in was easy. Room was clean and well appointed. The heating/aircon was easy to use with good instructions. The shower was simple to use. Kettle, fridge, safe, iron, ironing board etc everything you could need. Bed was really comfortable. We had a river view room which was nice. We didn't have breakfast but we had early evening meal the evening we stayed as we were attending a concert nearby. The dining room was nice looking , limited menu but everything was good and served pretty quickly. Would definitely stay there again.

No toilet brush. No wall hangers for coats.
