Breakfast was great, I had salmon & poached eggs - no half measures! Private well lit car park, no additional charge for parking. Keswick is only about a mile away, shorter via the footpath across a field but there's also a good path close to the road if its been raining hard and the footpath has flooding.
It is a home at the end of the day and not an acoustically isolated built for purpose hotel. I'm a light sleeper so was wakened when the guy in the floor above got up around 3am with the odd creak on the floorboards as well as his squeaky bed. That may also say how quiet and peaceful the setting was as I had my windows open too.

Check in/out; breakfasts etc all good (view of Causey Pike from table amazing!!) Responsive hosts - Phil went out of his way to provide a plug with USB port (perhaps consider having them available but appreciated the effort he went to answer and follow up my request) Very convenient to be close to (but not in the heart of) Keswick - pleasant walk over R Derwent into Keswick. Very handy for Cat Bells; Newlands Valley (great for my planned walks) and west side of Derwent water. (Photos Newlands Valley)
Having to access the toilet/bathroom via a corridor was a minor inconvenience (locking the bedroom door when using the facility) but not a major issue. Quite a small room - not in itself a problem but, to maximise floor space, perhaps use folding chair stool rather than large heavy dining room chair (as was the case).

Nice wee b &b room was clean and comfortable bed was big and the room was cosy, breakfast was great really enjoyed it and the staff serving were polite and kind.. mugs in the rooms instead of small cups which is great but no biscuits 😔 It’s self check in by a code given to gain entry, I didn’t really like this just a personal preference, felt very impersonal, name and room number is on a board for everyone to see, the fire alarm went off during my stay, I was asleep at the time and didn’t hear it until the alarm went off on my phone to wake me, it’s very quiet in the rooms but loud in the corridor, walls very thin could hear everything and no housekeeping through the stay, as a previous housekeeper I found this strange. Overall was a nice wee place and enjoyed my time there.

Lovely family run b&b in a quiet location, 20 minutes or so walk into Keswick. Free parking. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals and yoghurt and cooked breakfast to order the day before. Alternative milks are available on request too which is great. Breakfast room was nice and spacious.
Room was a little small, very compact bathroom but had everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast only served between 8-9am, this worked fine for us but something to be aware of. The walls are quite thin so you can hear other guests talking or hear the staff in the kitchen in the morning due to the position of our room too. But overall a lovely stay.

Good location, Comfortable room and bed. Very clean . Bright feature wall, Nothing to do with the Lake District. 2 occasional chairs, drinks table and tv. Good hanging space, rm for bags. Breakfast was great on both days we stayed. Tried full English and scrambled eggs and salmon. Staff great at breakfast. Information by email very good, for coded entry. 5 minute walk to Farmers ars pub ,for excellent food. Walking distance to Keswick. Free car parking.
Bathroom adequate for short stay, lacked a shelf to put your toiletries on. Light switch for over bed lights, difficult to find as it was behind the head board. Only my husband could reach it. Needs new switch location. Bed side tables needed. Or a floating shelf at bed height. Two very low occasional tables in room , not suitable to use when in bed. No staff unless you were at breakfast.

Communication of how to enter the property etc was very clear. Great parking in a small, quite, village Room very comfortable and clean, tea bags, coffee, sugar and toilet rolls aplenty. Mugs not cups (much better) We didnt see any staff until breakfast (they have carried on what was put in place during covid times) but this was not an issue as communication was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful at breakfast and the food was really good, hot and fresh, with cereal, fruit, yogurts if wanted. The location was close to everything in the Lake District, close to the main routes. The local pub, The Farmers Arms, was a bonus for Tea time, a short walk away. Pub food but tasty.
Not the fault of anyone but the village road was being dug up and the pub was closed the first evening due to fluctuating electricity supply.

The property is easy to find and has good parking, you have ample walking options from the location as well as further afield. The local pub very convenient for an evening meal. Breakfast was efficiently served and the tables are nicely laid out so you have plenty of space and its a bright room. Staff very accommodating too. I had great views from my room, and initially due to the design of the building, I was concerned that with thin walls, it may not be that quiet such as tv noise etc. However it was very quiet and I enjoyed a great nights sleep, You had the option to adjust heating to your preference and the bed was comfortable with nice bath and hand towels. As a solo guest I felt very comfortable and would certainly use again.
Nothing I can think of in particular.

Parking at the premises. Comfortable room, good heating, new carpets. Lovely cooked breakfast. Quiet room, great location for walking to, or driving to places of interest.
Staff only at premises for breakfast, so that's your chance to find out more about things to do. The Information book in your room would be better if it included how to find the path to Keswick, where to access the lake walk and other local walks in the area e.g. Skiddaw, Catbells. Would be good if there was access to a fridge.

Location was great for getting about Keswick and surrounding areas. Half hour walk into Keswick centre and Derwentwater 2 minutes away. I got there 3/4 hours before checkin but parked up at Rickerby Grange to start with plans to go straight out. I popped in to let them know i was leaving my car there and they said my room was ready, which was great of them. It had a homely feel about it, you could help yourself to tea/coffee and loo roll in the hallway and just left your key on the hallway sideboard for check out. To say the carpark was full I hardly saw anyone. Unfortunately I didn't get to sample the full breakfast due to my itinerary. The room and bed was comfortable and the shower good (rm 14) If I come back next year I would book here again.

Had a very nice stay at the lovely Rickerby Grange during the spring bank holiday! This B&B is close to Keswick town (20-30 min walk or 10 min by bus) but in a quiet residential locality, tucked away from the main road. Check-in and check-out were as per communication and no hassle. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Room was neat and clean. Towels are changed daily if requested. Definetly recommended! Hope to visit again and stay for longer duration.
