Excellent location, within walking distance of the train and bus stations and a 10/15 minute walk from the city centre, Corn Exchange, Kirkgate market and huge shopping malls. The hotel is budget, feels like an upmarket hostel. Beds and bedding were clean. A bit more attention to room corners would be good. Breakfast was OK: croissants, petits pains, cereal and toast, cheese and ham. On Sunday morning, yoghurt and apples were on offer, they were not on offer the 2 other mornings we were at the hotel. Staff really helpful and well informed about the city.

Improve cleaning under the beds: that is where your bag/suitcase can be stored, as there are no cupboards or shelves in the room. Every time a loo was flushed nearby, i could hear it!

Literally a 5-10 minute walk to the city centre, really good location, we were on the top floor and had the most amazing view of the city which was an unexpected bonus. The bedding was super clean and had that fresh lenor scent which I love! The room is compact but great for a couple nights stay.

The shower drain smelt bad, everytime we showered it obviously disturbed something and it released a horrible smell, it did clean up after a bit of time, but isn’t very pleasant when you’re getting ready for the day! And I totally understand that this is budget hotel and facilities are very limited, but only a dual plug socket under the tv? I couldn’t dry or straighten my hair in the mirror and I couldn’t charge more than one device at a time, an extra plug or two would have been nice.

The location is ideal almost city centre, although there is a large busy road outside this did not cause any issues. This is my friend and I have stayed here before, it is close to both train and bus stations, there is pub across the road which does excellent food, the hotel is also excellent value. We had a room booked before covid and we were able to rebook not just once but twice without too much of an issue, we were eventually able to the concert we had planned and to have not lost any money through the lockdowns etc was greatly appreciated. I also find it a great thing that checkout is not until 12.00.

One thing that is missing is the ability to make a cup of tea in the room, the only other thing is the lack of a drawer just to put things out of the way.

Stayed for the Pantera gig at the arena. About 15 minutes walk away from the arena and ten minutes from the train station. Right next to the centre so loads of food and drink options. Theres a communal area in the foyer where you can grab a beer and snack if you want. Clean, comfortable, powerful shower, plain and simple. This is the definition of getting what you pay for. For 50 quid, a decent and comfy nights sleep after a gig. Highly recommended if you just want to get your head down for a night, especially if you're on your own. Rooms are great size for one person, quite compact.

Like I say, for 50 quid in this day and age, I cannot complain about anything really. If there was one thing that would have been good, it's a kettle in the room. But like I say, you get what you pay for!

This was my fourth stay at this hotel. Bed comfy, shower powerful and perfect temperature, room and hotel generally clean, room was cold at start but warmed up quickly with air conditioning turned up to full whack. Very clean, bedding and towels super white and fresh.

Room feeling a little jaded and in need of refit, particularly flooring outside of shower. In room TV was a bit tinny, hard to listen to. No plug sockets near to mirror, and in general not enough sockets. One of two lifts out of order. Pretty cold in public areas. Lack of on site parking may influence if I stay here again.

bed very comfortable shower was brilliant Desk Staff ,security guy ,cleaners and not forgetting the taxi driver who drove us to the train station they are all lovely friendly people. I am org from Leeds now live in Australia and next time we are over for holidays I will most definitely book in there again, I just hope it's all the same staff are still there it would be lovely to see them. Microwave, tea coffee machines down in reception were great for my early morning cuppa. If I could give it 20 out of 10 I would ❤ 😍

Card only, I like to use cash so there for we couldn't have a breakfast there but not far away from cafes and shops so it didn't spoil our stay

Perfect Location - right in the middle between Work Event Venue (Armouries) and City Centre, with less than 10 min walk to either of those locations; discount at NCP "The Market"; friendly staff; amazing value for money

Discount @ NCP car park "The Market" was not granted straight away; it took me about 20 min and several phone calls to the NCP warden until I could eventually leave the car park after paying the correct (discounted!) price! No fault of the ibis hotel, of course - but may be the hotel management should have a "quiet word" with the NCP management of how that discount is applied to ibis Budget Hotel guests in future. It should not be made so complicated...

The room and appointments were as advertised, i.e. it was basic but functional). I appreciated that the double glazing did cut out most of the traffic noise and, given the unseasonably cool weather, there was no difficulty in closing the window at night. (It was actually quite nice to be looking out to the Minster. )

One of the two lifts was out of service for 2-3 days of our 6 day stay which put all the demand upon the remaining one, causing delays when large parties arrived whoe were all, understandably, trying to get themselves and their luggage to their rooms: ibis should review its building design and add an additional lift to future developments.

We only needed somewhere to get our head down after a night in the town city. The hotel was close to the centre and the price we paid was very reasonable for what we got. Yes the rooms are only small but clean and have everything you need to freshen up and put your down. If you want five star accommodation then this place will not be for you and stay elsewhere where you will pay five star prices. Car park is close by in the NCP car park where you get a discount price of £9.50 for 24 hours.

Only small gripe was that the pillows were a little hard. Oh yes plus no Tea / coffee facilities in your room.

The member of staff on reception was brilliant, he was so personable and helped with parking with great instructions, was polite and really informative, I personally was worried about booking an ibis budget hotel it was a last minute trip and I wanted rooms where the children could sleep so the bunk beds were ideal, the wooden floor in the rooms makes it feel modern and cleaner than old carpet. Both rooms we booked felt very clean.

The carpets in the halls need to be on the to do list but that’s only me finding something to say, they aren’t awful just look old and slightly stained.
