We were meet at reception by a happy friendly hotel staff member, and given our room and info about the hotel, our room was very clean, and the staff where great very helpful with information about how to get to places, breakfast was fantastic, as we are both vegan, we didn't expect breakfast to be great but I'm happy to be proved wrong, the staff cooked us vegan sausages to go with the other hot and tasty breakfast items, we also had alternative milk ready for us,and everything was labeled and had both hot and cold items to eat, if you want a nice place that's just out from the main town by 10 minutes. Then I would recommend.

2nd stay in this for me. I love the location and it's proximity to the city centre. Parking (across the road) isn't cheap but it is ideally placed. Staff were friendly, professional and courteous. The room, including the bed and bathroom were a good size and it was clean. Extra (£10.50) charge for breakfast was worth the money as plenty of choice with veggie options and they do vegan sausages if asked.

Only negative would be to invest in covers for the food because no one wants to eat something that you've watched a big fly land on

Bed was extremely comfortable, best 3 nights sleeps I've had in a long time. Shower was very powerful. Really enjoyed the breakfast selection on the 2 mornings I had it, plenty of choice and the food was kept really hot which was perfect. Would definitely stay here again as a solo traveller I felt very safe, and comfortable during my full stay.

If I had to say one thing, it would be that there is no air con, but the window was able to be opened and so managed to cool the room down that way, just not sure how warm the room would be in the summer (maybe too hot).

I loved the breakfast. The waffles were a great addition and made me look forward to breakfast throughout my stay. Would be lovely to have some halal sausages or something like chicken frankfurters for people who love sausage but don’t eat pork.

I think the carpet in the room could be a little bit cleaner. I could see that the carpet in the room I stayed (701) was not very clean and could use some washing. It gives a nice feeling when you know you can get comfortable cuz everything around is clean and hygienic. Asides that everything else was great

Bathroom was very neat, cleaning staff were diligent and very friendly. The hotel was easy to get to excellent transport links to the arena and town centre. Taxi's are also affordable. The staff were also very accommodating and helpful before and after check out, very friendly service. The level of cleanliness was consistent through out the hotel.

No complaints because the beds were clean but was a bit taken aback by the lower mattress not having a cover. The cover is only on the mattress topper, however it was not a big deal as I usually have to check the mattress in hotel stays but this one was open for me to see. 7 of us stayed in 4 rooms on different floors and no one has a complaint.

Excellent hot buffet breakfast. Coffee machine produced great coffee. I liked the hot bread rolls. Hotel is within walking distance of town centre and main railway station plus only a short walk from the Kirkstall road microbrewery, which I recommend too. WiFi worked well.

Fried eggs at breakfast were great but the scrambled eggs were not very good - poor texture and boiled! Heating control in room has no scale remaining on dial so impossible to know set temperature! (However, the heater did work.) TV is traditional - but I'm not used to a terrestial TV anymore 😂

The room was clean and tidy and the compact bathroom was more than adequate for us. We did have a problem with the TV but the staff were very helpful and sorted it. They provided us with something to eat on request in the evening. The breakfast was very good and comparable with more expensive hotels. In fact, the sausages were the best I've had in a long time!

No parking facilities apart from the Leeds City Council car park opposite which meant crossing a very busy main road with our luggage. I had to sign up to an app to pay for the parking but this is not the hotel's fault as it's nothing to do with them.

It was handy to be in walking distance of the centre. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The staff had made an extra effort for a birthday card, balloons and couple of snacks.

The only thing was that when we got given the check in things it was not highlighted to us about the complimentary drink that would have been nice as I thought it was just the key case and we were rushing to get out so did not see it. Would have been good to be told about it so we could have used it. We only noticed when it was too late.

The room was spacious and functional with all the things needed. The bathroom was little but very functional too and having everything needed. For this price is definetely a great bargain and an experience to suggest. Position was 8 minutes walking from the city centre, so all great.

Staff wasn't too helpful. We came there for the Leeds Festival which is the major music event of the year for the city. We needed some information for the shuttle buses, etc and they didn't know anything and didn't make even a little effort to help us.

The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, location was pretty good as you were around a 10-15 min walk to the city centre. The staff were friendly & check in/out was easy. The breakfast was excellent too.

There was nothing that I didn't really not like but if I had to comment on something it would be the price. Given the hotel is slightly out with the city centre I would've thought it would've been slightly cheaper.
