LOVED the hotel.. Staff: Excellent.. All very friendly (a big PLUS), helpful, polite, respectful.. Breakfast: EXCELLENT! (a BIG, BIG PLUS!). Bed: GREAT (though position was a bit uncomfortable), Room: Great!

The only thing I would try to improve would be the position of the KING size bed. If used by 2 people, the position makes it a bit difficult for one of the persons to get up or out of bed. A coffee maker would be nice in the rooms.

A Smart Experience in the Heart of London The hotel is located just a short walk from Victoria Station, which offers easy access to all parts of the city. It’s also only about 100 meters from the theatres showing Wicked and Hamilton, and close to Cardinal Place shopping center, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and fast-food options nearby. There are some homeless people and addicts in the area, but we never felt unsafe – the street is busy and well-frequented. The hotel operates with a “minimal interaction” approach. Check-in is done via iPad in the lobby, and everything in the room – lighting, air conditioning, blinds, and TV – is controlled through an in-room iPad. If you’re not comfortable with tech, this might not be the place for you. The room itself is very compact (about 8 square meters), but cleverly designed – they really made the most of the space. It has everything you need, though the sink is located in the main room rather than in the bathroom, which takes some getting used to. Important note for couples: sound insulation is minimal – you hear everything. So hopefully you’re already past the stage of being shy around each other 😅 Wi-Fi is free and strong throughout the hotel. Forgot your umbrella? You can borrow one free for 48 hours. There’s a bar on the ground floor with a good-looking menu, though we didn’t try it. Breakfast is available for £20 per person and is said to be good – we preferred to eat out. Security is excellent in the evenings and at night, which added a sense of safety. We didn’t use housekeeping services – the hotel donates £3 to charity for every day you skip room cleaning, which we thought was a nice touch. One thing to note: there’s no closet in the room. There’s a deep drawer and a few hooks, but with the compact room size, it’s not ideal if you’re traveling with lots of luggage – you won’t be able to leave suitcases open. Overall – a great, modern, comfortable experience. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location beside a transport hub, safe with friendly staff. Nice variety of restaurants nearby, local shops and theatres. Buzzy lobby and really quiet accommodations. The room was very compact and modern and it had everything needed, with both character and fun. Really well designed, really comfortable and felt luxurious as a result. Slept really well. I noticed that despite the young energy (yoga and exercise videos among the entertainment options in the room, recycling bins, music and art downstairs, etc) there were guests of all ages. I enjoyed the vibe and would definitely stay again.

The food/snack options in the evening were minimal - I ended up having to go out looking for a late night shop. It wasn't a problem for me but guests should know that the rooms are compact so travelers with a couple of giant suitcases might find it inconvenient.

From the quirkiness and comfort to the location and staff, we cannot speak highly enough about citizen M. As a couple in our 60s, it ought not to work-modular, small spaces, high-tech operations and bizarre decor! However, I love that CitizenM takes us away from tradition yet everything really works! What we all need for a city break is… a good night sleep, cleanliness Good quality food, A feeling of security and to have our needs met at the click of a button or by a happy communicative human. This set up works on every level. The staff at citizen M Victoria well lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. They clearly know their jobs and have that wonderful juxtaposition of helpfulness but not intrusiveness. Thank you for always smiling too!

One tradition, we really wish citizen M could uphold, is to be able to make a cuppa in your own room.🙏 Breakfast was amazing, but at £20 each, per day, a little too much to add to our bill. Instead, we opted for just one morning of our two day stay. My husband could definitely justify it as he is able to eat well in the morning. For me, fresh fruit only (which was wonderful) but an expensive bowl of fruit and yoghurt!

Location was excellent! 5 minute walk to closest tube/subway station. 10-15 minute walk to buckingham palace and Westminster. 15 minute walk to closest bus coach station. Room was modern, had AC and was quiet, staff were great! Upon check in you have the option to chose what location you would like your room in (away from the main street, next to the mainstreet). For a small room, space was utilized very well. Still had a fridge we could use to store water bottles, drawers underneath the bed, shower a decent enough size. Good enough for an overnight stay. Area pretty safe.

Room size definitely could've been better, suggest staying here if you only have a carry on. Cleanliness was ok, upon arrival, bed itself was dusty closest to the window, duvet for bed was stained on the inside (cover hid it) and after housekeeping there were still spots in our room missed i.e. hair and dust still on the floors. Area was pretty safe although there were homeless people here and there (which is how central London has been).

Very nice place in an excellent location. Overall, for the value at the location is great, the rooms are super modern fully automated with automated lighting, automated air conditioning. You can control the lumens and lighting as well for evening in the morning. The shades were also automated. Overall, the place is very clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and with a good sense of humor.

The only negative thing I have to say about the place is that it was lacking water bottles inside the room or a kettle or a coffee machine. Everything has to be obtained from the café at the lobby downstairs, and there is no room service. In the morning, I found that to be a bit inconvenient. But if you don’t care about this sort of thing, having a coffee or a cup of tea in your room, then it’s no big deal.

The property is very close to Victoria station as well as some theatres and nice restaurants. The area is normal for near a railway station, but the hotel was secure with key access needed to activate the lifts. The staff are very friendly, and there is a young and trendy vibe, but even us oldies felt at home. The rooms are well laid out, if a bit compact, but enough storage space and very clean with high quality fittings. The beds are very comfy, and the rooms are well insulated against noise. The windows cannot be opened, but there is air conditioning which is quiet and effective.

it was pretty perfect. Maybe slightly bigger rooms would be better, but a bit late for that.

The same standard quality and comfort of CitizenM. I stayed at Boston and Zurich before. London was my third and it was as i expected it. Minimalist, well designed, tech-friendly room with an incredibly comfortable bed. Close to train station and in a walking distance to some main attractions

By design the main attraction of CitizenM hotels are the view through the windows that is right next to the bed. The view here, on the other hand, was kind of dissapointing. Also, i don't know why but it was always dusty, even though i asked for cleaning everyday.

A hotel with a nice theme. Breakfast was pay, had a good variety would definitely stay again. Nice atmosphere, the decor was modern and whimsical. Rooms would be small for a family, but perfect for single or couple. Kind of like Japanese hotel rooms, bed was against the wall, with not too much floor space, not a bad thing, looked like it was done purposefully as part of the theme. The shower was fun, because you could change the color of lighting, with the in room tablet and even play an interactive light game with same tablet.

The only negative was that the tablet was supposed to control TV channels and we could never get a clear signal, the Channels would cut in and out showing interference. Okay for us, because we where mostly out touring, but would be annoying if we spent more time in the room. We did ask about the TV and apparently its a known issue.

Stylish and very close to Victoria Station, which is where trains from Gatwick arrive and which also has a tube station, so very convenient location. Also very close to some musical theaters. The hotel is stylish, vibrant and has extremely friendly staff. You can order pizza at 1am, no problem. The breakfast is not extremely varied but fine. Rooms have a lot of hightech which delights those who want to steer lighting, tv, shades and eveything else via an ipad.

Rooms are relatively small and the shower room is just separated by a semi-transparent glass. Unless you're a couple, you may find this creates awkward situations... Not too much storage space, either. Perfect for short stays with little baggage, but not very spacious if you carry large suitcases.
