Clean and pleasant environments close to excel and city for tourists to visit.

Probably due to fire doors, every time some one close a door close by, we would feel the vibration in our room. Had a sleepless night. Expensive parking, I recommend for guest staying more than 1 night the parking should be free or a one night/day charge should be applied not per day. We stayed 2 nights hence paid for 2 days parking @ £30.

All was good, ambience, staff etc.

But unfortunatley there were no Halal Foods (For Muslims) and secondly there was now Toilet shower available in room.

The room was large and the bathroom was separate. The room was cosy and the air conditioning was fantastic. The bed was comfy and the pillows were good. The room was equipped with an iron and ironing board which was a nice touch. There were also two water bottles in the room and more were brought up when we requested them.

The shower gel dispenser in the bathroom was broken and we couldn't access the shower gel which was disappointing. The bed was comfy but noisy. The tv didn't have a casting function as there was no wireless connection. There was no decaf tea in the room and breakfast was £17.99 per person which is excessive.

When we arrived at the Hotel we were greeted very friendly. We were also given cookies, which we enjoyed very much. Added bonus on the day we were leaving we were given more of the cookies to enjoy at the airport. We just wanted to be close to London City airport. It wasn't too far and actually so close that you could see the airport and planes taking off. Although it was very close, you did not hear the plane noise at all from our room. Close to the train station so if you need to go into the city you could.

Unfortunately the Hotel is old and really need to be refurbished Not much restaurant.

Clean room, sheets, towels and bathroom. Good restaurants with plenty of choices. Friendly staff.

Access to and from the hotel not very friendly due to construction works around the premises.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming , a very nice touch upon arrival of a cookie in a bag .Rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything needed ie, Hairdryer, Iron, Ironing board in room. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice to cater for everyone. Location was ideal as only 10mins from Excel Centre for a show we had gone down for.

As with most hotels, there is never enough cartons of milk or teabags in room . Near reception area there is the option to purchase snacks & drinks but they are way over priced ! So take your own! how can they charge £5.99 for a packet of Digestive Biscuits & £6 for a packet of Kettle Crisps! Shocking!

The room was big and had a perfect view of event. Sea view and big, bed was comfy. And mins walk to the silverworks docks

When we got to the room, I had a shower and I went to dry my hair. The hairdryer wasn’t working so I tried multiple times to call both reception and rule this for over 15 minutes with no answer in the end with wet hair I had to go downstairs to reception with the broken hairdryer and ask for a new one ASAP as we were heading out for an event once I handed the hairdryer to the gentleman at reception he contacted housekeeping, and I witnessed verbal altercation between both reception and housekeeping as housekeeping were not willing to send a new hairdryer up to our room straight away as they were too busy. Fair play to the receptionist - whichI did hear him say to housekeeping that they were really busy and you all need to work as a team

My girlfriend and I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton London Excel for 3 nights and it is a great hotel. On arrival, The reception staff upgraded us to a King Room with View and gave us a hot cookie which was a nice touch. When we entered the room, we noticed that it was a feather duvet and pillows. My girlfriend is allergic to feathers so we asked reception if they could change the duvet and pillows, in which they were more than happy to help and had changed it over within 5 minutes. Very kind and helpful staff. Clean rooms with a nice view. Ideal location next to London City airport and the DLR is a 5 minute walk away. Great hotel.

Only thing I would suggest is to have some streaming apps on the TV such as Netflix, Youtube etc. Other than that, 10/10.

Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in London was a pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, neat, and well-maintained throughout. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. We especially enjoyed the restaurant—the breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic selection and a delicious traditional English breakfast. While we wouldn’t call it the best place we’ve ever stayed, it was definitely a solid, reliable choice for comfort and convenience in the city.

Room could have been a big bigger but generally most hotels in London has rooms around the same sort of size.

We were able to check in 11.30am with no extra charge as we had an event, hotel was 10min walk to event, warm cookies on arrival even though we didn’t collect. Spacious rooms, fridge, hairdryer provided and toiletries. Water provided in the room, able to connect your phones up to the TV. Mini market within the hotel for drinks/snacks. Fruit and fresh flavoured water available in the lobby. Key access to lifts so was safe and secure. Checkout 12pm so enabled us to have a full 24hrs in the room. Hotel security on the door after event to stop non-residents coming in. Blackout curtains and super comfy, large bed!

Room service was a little expensive. We got 2x chicken and halloumi wrap, with fries which was £30. Had difficulties getting through to room service/reception team for a good 15 mins.
