Hello, I'm Dave from the US. I stayed in the Penthouse Apartment for one week in late August 2025 Here are all the pros: Location: My daughters and I loved the Central London location. It is a few minutes' walk from the British Museum and Covent Garden market to the west the City are about a twenty-minute walk to the east, and a few stops south of the Kings Cross and St Pancras Intl stations via the underground. There were plenty of food options; M&S Food, Tesco, Mc Donalds, Pret-a-Manger, Costa Coffee and Starbucks Coffee are nearby. The area is well served by London underground Central Line's Chauncery Lane station that is a little less than a 3-minute walk away. However, that location does not have lifts. I recommend if you're taking heavy luggage to take the Farringdon station on the Elizabeth line that is served with lifts. Cleanliness: We inspected our linen, the bedding, the bathrooms and kitchen and were well pleased with the apartment's cleanliness. Amenities: We stayed in the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse. The larger of two bathrooms has an ensuite bathroom. The other bathroom holds the washing machine / dryer. The place has a relatively modern kitchen with a generous refrigerator and dishwasher. Adjacent to the kitchen is the lounge and the dining room, and beyond them, is the sizable terrace. Each bedroom and the lounge/dining room has a dedicated air conditioning climate zone. Spacious: This apartment was bright and capacious occupying one half of the 5th floor with the lounge facing the street side and the bedrooms facing the courtyard side. The photos really don't do it justice. Quiet: Although the building is in central London, and even though it is served by a bus line, the penthouse apartment was relatively quiet and inoculated from noise coming from the street.

Just a few minor issues. Better communication needed: We were able to pay for early check-in. This is the first time I've ever had to pay for early check-in. I understand that part of this is because of the cleaning staff. But still, at least an early check at 15.00 should be gratis. Hours after we first arrived in the apartment and after I crashed in the bed, my daughter that someone from the management office entered the apartment to check if we were in. Since I sleep very soundly, I had no idea this happened until after I had awoken. Since my daughters were not alarmed, then I wasn't terribly distressed however I wasn't well pleased.

Great location, very handy to central London & the apartment was beautiful, really spacious and clean. Really accessible to the underground, a shop 2 minutes away and McDonalds 5 minutes away. The apartment was very cosy, with great heating.

The door code we were given was missing a symbol in our check in email so we had to call through to customer services late at night to get access. There also is nowhere to store baggage after check out before our flight home, that would have been great.

Easy location and very well equipped, Quiet area and easy to find. Check in was easy.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a key to access the patio, We told the cleaner who unlocked one of the doors and said the keys were missing.. had we not caught the cleaner, we would not have been able to get outside on the balcony. We also had a problem with hot water, we managed to contact someone who tried to diagnose the problem and said it was the boiler water pressure, but there was no maintenance available on a Sunday. They said they would call us back. Sadly, we heard nothing and had cold showers.

The 2 min walk from Chancery Lane was ideal as the Central line connects well to wherever you want to go. It was an easy walk to Covent Garden with pubs, grocery stores and great restaurants all around. Off the Main Street, it was super quiet - the perfect atmosphere after being around crowds all day. The two rooms two bathrooms gives everyone space and privacy. It was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable enough, living room spacious and an absolute bonus was the door separating the living from bedroom spaces. It meant we could be up in the morning or evening without disturbing anyone sleeping. Genius. The Guest Managers were quick to respond to any emails and all instructions were easy to follow. I would 100 % book again, and would recommend this location to anyone visiting London.

This are tiny irrelevant details and did not impact our stay at all: There was not a dishrag for cleaning up spills or crumbs, WIFI was trickier to access (but figured it out). Both inconsequential - the place was great.

*Could not connect to apartment #7 WiFi was forced to use #8 or 9 *Bad smell in large bathroom ( thanks for fixing) *No shelf or ledge in shower area to place your soap. Had to put it on the floor. *Black paint coming off knives in kitchen * no dish cleaning liquid or sponge. * spring sticking out of mattress in main bedroom

My wife and I stayed in this lovely 2-bedroom flat in June. The flat was clean and modern. The full kitchen had everything we needed and we prepared several meals there. The living space is very open with lots of windows including floor to ceiling window in one of the bedrooms. The living room has a full glass sliding door leading out to a lovely terrace. We were on the fourth floor and it was amazing. The location is great, right next to a bus stop and just half a block from the Chancery tube stop. The self check in process was smooth and easy. The building has a locked door on the street entrance and one in the vestibule. It’s a pleasant are and we felt very secure, We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

The flat was clean and modern but it could use a few pictures, etc. to warm it up a bit. Dealing with the host was easy but felt a bit corporate-like. When we asked to check in a little early, we got a standard response about the check in times although the flat was clearly ready before then. Their info also states that if you need to stay beyond check out time they recommend booking an additional night... Not as warm and personal as some of the flats we've stayed in.

This was a really great space for our family of four. Separate rooms for the kids and parents is so nice to give everyone a break when traveling. The location was excellent. We were just a few steps from the tube and bus and it was also walkable to most things we did but still quiet at night. Good coffee/quick breakfast options near by.

The beds felt very used and creaky. Definitely would make a huge difference to replace the beds. The bathroom lights were on a sensor so that got annoying at night. A few more basic amenities like a kitchen towel and tissues would be great.

Modern, clean apartment in a great location & safe neighbourhood. Close to tube and bus station, many options for super market, restaurants and cafes. Windows isolation were really good helped good night sleep. We had 10 days stay and received cleaning services on 6th day unexpectedly and the lady was very friendly and provided high quality cleaning service. We had some issues but they responded immediately and gentleman came over immediately to help us and I thought it is genuine and reliable. Having washing machine, dishwasher, balcony with green view and aircon was really good and helpful.

Until few days before the arrival the communication was little slow or no response but via booking.com service I could receive necessary info. Shower water pressure was low and the service person, gentleman went extra miles to change to new shower head. Every apartment seem to have similar issue so it was not fixable but I thought it was kind and genuine trying to do their best and really appreciated the effort.

The flat was lovely. It is nicely done with great finishes and very clean. Lovely! It exceeded my expectations. It has everything that you need for a short stay or even a bit longer. They also left tea, coffee, and toiletries. Bed linen and towels felt nice too. Checking in and out with no problems. Easy to find, close to restaurants and Tesco Express, etc. Contacting their customer service was also trouble-free and very responsive.

The only thing that did not work was that I could not open the balcony doors because the keys were not left in the flat and the customer care person tried to trace them to no avail, so I had no fresh air in the flat so it was a bit stuffy. The other thing that was a bit annoying is that there is no TV antenna in the building so there is no access to the normal channels and no Netflix or Prime, but if you have your own accounts you can watch it on your laptop. However, it feels like a waste not being able to watch a film on such a nice wide-screen TV.
