The hotel itself is really nice and breakfast was amazing.

Cleaning of the room could have been better, especially under the bed where there was quite a bit of dust and an elastic from a previous person.

I like the boutique style and the modern design. It is well located and you can even walk to various places. Breakfast is served which is a great plus for me. Clean and calm rooms with coffee machine.

Daily house keeping needs to be requested for shorter stays. It works fine if you ask for it. But personally I find this trend not acceptable. For me daily house keeping belongs to the service of a hotel and it is also represented in the price of a hotel. I feel Covid19 and environmental protection are just used as an excuse to simply safe internal costs. If I don't want the service of a hotel I could also rent an Airbnb and go around the corner for breakfast. Hotels should deliver what the customer is also paying for - this includes daily house keeping without requesting it seperately.

I had a very comfortable stay at Holmes Hotel in London. The employees were highly respectful, professional, and always welcoming — their smiles never left their faces, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. A special thanks to Sanji, Edien, Kemberly, and Ria for their exceptional service and kindness. I especially appreciate Sanji, who kindly changed our room to better suit my child and give him his own comfortable space. Also, my kids really enjoyed the sweets and games provided by the hotel — they were so happy with them and it made their stay even more delightful. The hotel’s location is also excellent, surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés. The whole area felt very comfortable and convenient for families.

Ordered 2 x rooms, 1 Superior & 1 Double. Parents were assigned the Superior room but it turned out to be a double. It was still a good room but the sliding bathroom door so close to the bed wasn't great either for space or privacy when using the bathroom. The sliding door didn't fully close The hotel bar prices were extremely expensive The teenagers got the advantage of the Superior room but said there was a musty smell from the vents

Location was just perfect, close to every attraction, underground is nearby, lots of restaurants and coffee shops around, quite. Room was clean with good size, has a kittle and nespresso machine with tea bag varieties, water bottles provided daily, bathroom was perfect with full of amenities, check in/out was smooth and easy, Digital key using an app was excellent. The restaurant / bar was excellent, delicious and cozy place.

Beds were not comfy, 2 singles were joined so it felt hard in the middle Thin walls between rooms, which make it noisy at night and it DID disturb our sleep.

The location is perfect for anything you would want in London. Baker street station is a few steps away to go to any museum, gallery, concert , theater ,venue or restaurant you may want and you have any shop needed just around the hotel. We even used a laundry a few blocks away with perfect and fast service to refresh our clothes in a multi city trip. We stayed in a superior room that was spotless , very cozy, quiet and comfortable with a nice view of very typical London surroundings. Front desk staff very friendly and professional. The lobby areas and hotel Restaurant truly upscale, pleasant and comforrable. We arrived via Eurostar and travelled back from Heathrow via Paddington Heathrow express and via Uber to and from the stations to the hotel. Very practical , relaxed and at reasonable costs. I fail to see the issues of some negative reviews that made us doubt a little. Everything was perfect for our stay. We will definetly stay at the Holmes when in London

A very small issue: costs of drinks almost impossible to find when looking at the a la carte breakfast menu offers.

Very comfortable stay, with good design and nice storage. Bathroom was in good condition with a nice shower. We loved the bar and restaurant downstairs and the sitting spaces to enjoy if you are out of the room. We thought the location was a good spot, very close to Baker St tube station and buses as well as the gorgeous Marylebone high street area. Quirky but styled Sherlock vibes make it a bit different from other hotels. We stayed 5 nights just before Christmas.

Not much worth mentioning... Small lift which was a bit busy at times, and we had a few stairs to go up to get to our room. So if you have accessibility issues ask for a room closer to the lifts or get a porter for your bags. Room was a bit dark, mood lighting is great but I love if there an option for a brighter light for occasional use!

The hotel was very clean and invited. Personnel was very friendly and helpfull. Very good and beautiful bathroom. Good quality for champoo, shower gel and soap Beautiful room and good size. No carpet in the room. I asked this, because of my allergies. Good television. The bed was very comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft. Bedlinnen, highest quality. A lot of free coffee, thee and water. Very nice bathrobe and slippers, best quality. Very good facilities. Good breakfast. Beautiful sitting areas. Very good location. No noise and a 10 minutes walk and you're in Oxford street. 15 minutes and you're in Hyde Park. Very easy when you come from the eurostar. Only 3 stops with bakerloo line. There are 5 lines for the tube at the bakerstreet station. Tube station only 2 minutes from the hotel. Restaurants around the corner. Best value for your money. I go every year to London. Normally you get in other hotels less value for your money. No buffet is not a problem, enough choise and above all not every body is walking around. You can enjoy your breakfast in a very beautful restaurant.

The hotel overall was immaculate and the room was a good size - the 'themed' decor was great but wasn't over the top. The room was cleaned and restocked daily with water, biscuits etc The A la carte breakfast was plentiful and of beautiful quality. Lovely relaxing lounge area.

We had a couple of 'in room' problems. The first afternoon the room was so hot as the temperature thermo was broken and could not be adjusted. Also, the ceiling air con unit in the bathroom was dripping water from the unit onto the bathroom floor just above the toilet - making the floor and us wet! We reported both to reception but it appears that only half the issue was logged and the constantly dripping water was never resolved. We very quickly received a fan to help with the overheating. There was also friction between the breakfast staff during busy service.
