It was about a mile away from 02 Empire where we were headed. It was good value for money. Handy shop next door and a cafe across the road. Towels provided and hairdryer in room. Shared bathrooms but had no issues getting to them or using the shower. Good big kitchen area if u wanted to cook. Staff were friendly and let us check in before 12 which is always appreciated wheb you've done a lot of travelling prior.

We had travelled on an early flight 630am and lay down when we got there for an hours kip but the staff were busy outside our room talking the whole time so we weren't able to rest. Which really was a shame I had asked for a twin room as booking.com seems to have a tenancy of being misleading when advertising rooms. The lady did put us up in the room with a fold out bed. It was ok but not what the picture shows and there seems to be other free rooms with multiple beds. Stairs in to the building are really steep.

Great neighbourhood, quiet & beautiful & in the same time close to the city centre by metro & bus. Nice, cosy room nicely decorated, comfortable bed & clever spaces to make the traveller comfortable & able to organize their staff. Clean bathrooms, amiable cleaning lady that helped however she could to deal with a problem we had. Very clear & accurate instructions to find the house & everything concerning our stay.

The rooms didn't have shutters, just light colored curtains which naturally let all the morning light inside, something that made it impossible to sleep from very early in the morning. However, when we mentioned the problem to the owner she did everything she could to help, asking the cleaning lady to give us some fabrics like curtains to hang roughly, which quite helped. Certainly heavy dark curtains are in need in this room.

My room was large (it slept four but available to book for one with a decent discount) and clean. Everything is supplied whether for a short stay or a longer stay (e.g. iron and ironing board, hanging space for clothes) The kitchen is a very pleasant room with dining table, and well equipped. The opportunity for self-catering makes this really good value. The two bathrooms were very clean and modern.

Other reviews mention the stairs - they are steep and narrow, but it's only about 12 steps up the first floor, then all is on one level. Bed linen and towels are supplied, but not toiletries (apart from hand wash). 'Complimentary toiletries' left by other guests are offered, but it would be safer to take your own.

Great value for money for London with a homely feel and character. Directions were precise so it was very easy to find. 4 roomed walk up above a shop in a beautiful leafy area. We were greeted by a very helpful and friendly staff member who made sure we got settled. Everything was very clean- room, bathrooms x2, kitchen and the towels, along with the sheets were fresh. Kitchen was very well equipped, very well organised and homely. Free wifi was always reliable. Close to tube, shops and pub but far enough away not to be affected by traffic noise. Bus stop right outside the door. Just about everything was great. We felt very comfortable leaving our luggage until the end of the day. We most certainly will stay again and have already recommended it to friends. Just be aware it’s definitely way more than a 7 min walk from the station if you have luggage. A good 15 mins is closer to reality plus there is a tricky steep and tiny set of stairs to manoeuvre on arrival - a little hairy, so hold the rail.

Creaky floorboards and thin walled rooms can be a little annoying if there are early risers in the morning and children. Surprisingly very little noise came up from the shop downstairs.

Room was comfortable. Ideal location 10 mins from Underground and lovely cafes and shops. Home was clean. Bathrooms, there were two which made the shared bathroom less daunting and we didn't have to wait. Room was spacious. Kitchen large. Was warm. Parking available on street permit holders Monday to Friday day Friday night and weekend free.

Creeky floors so you heard people going to the toilet during the night. There was a constant low hum like a generator which made it difficult to drift off to sleep but wasn't an issue when you eventually did.

Nice and warm!, very comfy bed!! Very cozy, has a tv which we loved, and nice shower.

Could’ve done with a mirror either in the room or bedroom, The people opposite us were loud at night (two men and a women?) and was in the bathroom for a long time in the mornings, we couldn’t use the bathroom one morning as we had to be at our location (as we was sight seeing and going to winter wonderland etc.) when I could go in it was messy which I had to tidy as I couldn’t use the shower else, and a pair of underwear was left on the radiator, I know it isn’t the staffs fault or owner, It happens and can’t be changed, but other than that, like I said very warm and cozy and comfortable! x

Amazing location and bus stop right outside. Lovely well equipped kitchen with oven,microwave, etc. rooms were nice a spacious and tv in room.

This was my third time staying here and I have absolutely loved it each time. However on this stay we entered the property and a lady was still cleaning which is fine. The issue we had was she failed to mention to us that we can only use one bathroom at that moment in time as she was still cleaning. We did not know this and she proceeded to have a go at us for using both bathrooms even though we had not been told we couldn’t use the bathroom. I just think a little bit more communication and kindness would be appreciated. Apart from this it was a wonderful stay and the owner was very helpful making sure we had all the details to enter the property thank you very much

The room was clean and tidy, with lots of information from the host before arrival about where to find the property, and what to expect upon arrival. Everything in the property is nicely labelled and is great for a budget stay in London. The nearest tube station being about 10 minutes away with lots of local shops around is also a great bonus.

I didn't quite realise it was a shared bathroom within the property (not a terrible thing and this is likely me just assuming things). The stairs are quite steep to get in to the property which some guests may find difficult, although this is of no fault to the host.

Its not a luxury location but our room was larger than we expected, clean and bright The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We loved being able to check in early as it gave us plenty of time to get ready before heading off to Wembley. There is a bus stop right outside the door and underground a 10 minute walk away. Sharing a bathroom really wasn't a problem as there are only 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We didn't really use the kitchen but it was large and well equipped with everything you might need. Tea and coffee was available free of charge which was a nice touch.

The rooms are up a narrow and steep set of stairs, easier to climb but be careful coming down!

Nice place where to stay. We arrived at night and have to leave in the morning. so very less time to understand. But everything was clean. You feel that people like and try to make this place lovely. And they have success in it. For this price it is nice place to stay in London center.

Very early checkout till 10:00. We arrived at 01:00 at night and it was very hard to wake up 08:00 to chekout in time.
