Location is great , to the right is Hydepark , to the left is Picadilly Circus , and infront is the Green Park . Marvellous Location . Breakfast was delectable and Yummy .

One of the two elevators was not functioning properly , so waiting time to get the elevator was longer than usual .

Holding Amount Of Insurance £75 Per Night Is Too Much And Its Not Mentioned On Website Or In Booking.com I Hate What Happened To Me When The Amount Holden And BlockedOn My Account When I Try To Understand But Unfortunately It Blocked Fast . House Keeping Of The Room Two Times Not Coming On Time I Left The Room Need More Way Smarter To Inform House Keeping In Rooms Which Is Announced For Cleaning. Bed And Bellows Are Not Comfortable .

There is no better location in London. The room was clean, tastefully decorated but without the blandness of most top hotels. There were quirky touches like leaving parts of the stunning old building in place which brought character and authenticity to the hotel as a whole. The breakfast buffet was huge and fresh with little touches like freshly made smoothies plus the variety of food on offer was also impressive. There was a chef on hand to make hot food if required. The staff were excellent. Friendly and professional and went above and beyond.

I had quite a strong buzzing in my room probably from the heating system, but still was able to sleep. The room was pretty cold, and the heating system didn’t really adjust, so I was lucky to have my heater with me :)

My card was debited twice, even though I had paid the full amount. Upon arrival, I was surprised by an additional deduction. After reviewing the details for four days, it was returned to my credit card, which made me feel uncomfortable at first. The bathroom lacks some basic supplies, such as cotton and ear swabs. The water is provided in small containers, not bottles, and is not enough for making coffee or drinking!! This service needs to be improved.

Service and breakfast were very good. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We had access to the club lounge and could have meetings there. The hotel was beautifully decorated in an art nouveau style. Nearby (walking distance) we had a lot of good restaurants and shops. Buckingham Palace was just across the park.

The elevators were a nightmare. They were jumpy, the doors closed and opened suddenly and they always took a lot of time to arrive. You were never sure if they will stop at your floor when you called them.

Breakfast was normal with limited selections. It was the same every day (5 days stay). Good selection of soft drinks and bottled juices, drinking water was missing as we had to use the tab for normal or sparkled water. Had to upgrade becuase room was a booked couldn’t find 3 people (we booked through Bookings.com and had a note for the hotel to accomodate that request but we were told it will not be accommodated at the Front Desk! So, what could we do other than upgrading and paying the difference. We were given Queen Club room ( I think it was for handicapped customers) it was a tight and unpleasant ( the toilet was spacious which mad the room looks tight), thankfully the switched us to another similiar room. Rooms seems to be real cold even when we switch off AC. I would rate this hotel with an 8/10 and would come to it again due to its staff and location.

Staff are so friendly especially Virag in the lounge. She was very friendly from the beginning of our stay and always tried her best to accommodate our requests. My 3 children were so happy with her and they want to come back to this hotel because of her. Many thanks!

We originally checked in at 3pm as the official time and the staff said some elite guests are stay in for a late check out. We had to wait till 6pm for our room. It’s not acceptable especially I had lots of planning. They gave me the room and access to the lounge area as well as late check out on our departure with breakfast which was nice but I think you need to change the policy as time is most important.

Comfy bed, large. Reasonable room. Usual expected facilities were there.

The phone in the room did not work at all I wanted a better view but was facing the centre of the hotel The TV was very basic with few channels, no smart capabilities, I could not cast anything nor watch any streaming services Bathroom small The front doors were locked at night so going in and out or receiving deliveries was a pain

Lovely atmospheric old hotel in an excellent location

Only 2 lifts and consistently had to wait quite a while to get up/down, probably because it's an atmospheric old hotel!
