The hotel and the room were great. Comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Service was great.

The shower curtain in the bathroom was dirty(mouldy). I have asked the staff to change it. Unfortunately, it was not done.

We travelled to the UK for a family bereavement. The Crown Hotel is like a diamond in the rust. fabulous! When you walk in the high glass ceilings are beautiful and the lobby looks so grand! the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed twice in between family visits. Both rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was buffet breakfast and everything you could need was there. Hot food, pastries, fruit, cereal, breads, juices, hot drinks. Rachelle in particular was unbelievable. She is like a machine and not one person went through the restaurant with her acknowledging them and welcoming them. So friendly. On my final morning I met Joshua, he was also very friendly and took the time to speak with guests also in between the busy breakfast period.

If I had one ike, the swimming pool. When we heard it had a pool we were delighted. But at a cost of £15 PER HOUR, I thought this was a big disgraceful. As guests, I think the pool should be included in your stay rather than an hourly rate. This wouldn't stop me booking again though.

If I had to pick at one thing, the swimming pool I really think should be included when you stay in the hotel. At £15 per hour I thought this was a bit ridiculous.

Wonderful Stay at The Crown Hotel The Crown Hotel was absolutely lovely—bright and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by super friendly and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to help with any questions we had. The reception area had a warm and pleasant atmosphere, which set the tone for our stay. Our room was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities, and the bed was very comfortable. We were not disappointed and would definitely return!

If I have to pick anything, I would have liked a nice view from our room but understandably not every room can.

I like the location and the atmospheric building itself. We found the area to be safe, with lots of amenities such as grocery stores and other conveniences. There was also good communication with the city center and the airport. The room was spacious, clean, and had very comfortable beds, as well as nice hot water. The staff was very friendly :)

We felt a bit cold in the room and couldn't quite figure out how to adjust the AC to make it warmer. We didn’t ask for help, though, but I’m sure the staff would have assisted us if we had. The walls felt a bit thin, so we could hear the neighbors, but it wasn’t an issue - just something to be aware of :)

The hotel itself exceeded our expectations, as did the room. The hotel is very charming, and the room was quite spacious, with a television, a large bed, a desk, two armchairs, a decent wardrobe, and a safe. The bathroom was very spacious, with a bathtub. They kindly left us two bottles of water, some biscuits, and a box of snacks along with a handwritten note welcoming us to the hotel. The staff were very pleasant throughout our stay.

The pillows were extremely thin, even when using two. The location is not ideal—very far from the city centre and in an area that is not particularly pleasant. The streets were very dirty, the buildings around looked poorly maintained, and arriving at the hotel at night felt a bit unsettling. The streets were very empty and dark, and while the main road was a bit livelier, it still didn’t feel very safe. If I had to stay here alone or with female friends, I would definitely think twice. This time, I was with a male friend, and having him there made me feel much more at ease.

The staff were really friendly and considerate. Also the rooms were big enough for two people.

The window would not open in the room it was sealed, luckily we had an AC, otherwise the lack of oxygen would have been really bad. The faucet was leaking and no one fixed it. Other than these, overall, it was a lovely experience.

Excellent location, shops and train/ tube station within few mins walk....we were at a concert at Wembley and this hotel was just perfect....we got a slightly earlier check in time... reception staff were so friendly...spotless, comfortable beds, well kept pretty public areas, lively breakfast lots of choice,we will 100% stay again

No cons really lovely experience

Decent hotel, good size room (stayed in a standard double). Only used as a base to sleep for 1 night visiting central London for christmas. Food at breakfast was good enough, full English, pastries, toast, cereals etc.

Bed pillow wasn't very comfortable, bit small & lumpy & no additional in the wardrobe but we only stayed the 1 night so wasn't too bad. If you're bothered about pillows & are staying a while, maybe take your own. That was my only downside.

Air-conditioning was malfunctioning in our room and they immediately transferred us to another, even more spacious one, which was warm and cozy. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel is a bit on the outskirts (which was a minus just because the overground didn't work due to rain and some tube lines were off during the weekend), but everyone at the hotel was very, very kind and accommodating, so we felt very welcome! There's a small shop across the street that's open 24/7 :) In the overall, very good value for the price! Staff (reception desk, room service/support, restaurant staff, everyone): five stars/ten points! Special thanks to Graciella!!! :)

Strangely, the tub had only a shower, there was no faucet in the tub. But there was, of course, a sink in the bathroom, so it was perfectly ok! :)
