We are very grateful for how the staff was super friendly and accommodating and even let us still get a room at 2am, after we had to leave the one we originally booked because it was horrendous and we couldn't stay there anymore. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was very comfy. They even provided us with new towels even though we still had some clean ones. The location is great and in a nice area, near a beautiful park/zoo which we went to and thoroughly enjoyed. I 100% recommend going there, we will most likely book a stay there again!

It's not that I don't like it but they could maybe have some clearer signs for directions and WC's inside the hotel. It's a bit tricky finding your room when you need to go to the bathroom or are super tired. But that's just a minor detail :)

Very good budget hotel in a quiet neighborhood, better quality than most hotels in this price range. The room was well heated, plenty of hot water and clean with fresh towels every day. The bed was comfortable. We come to London often and this was the first time we stayed in this hotel, but we will be coming back. Easy access to transportation (busses in front of the hotel) but around one hour to Trafalgar Square by bus (139) from Golders Green Station, probably less with the tube. The trip into town is pleasant. Easy contact with the management. Nice restaurants and shops one bus stop away. In all, we were very happy with our stay.

In our room, the bed was against the wall, which made it difficult for one of us to get in and out. There is room to re-arrange the bed to solve this minor problem. Other than that, no complaints at all.

I liked the location it was 30-40 minutes to the city center by underground, but if you stop at different locations before the city center it feels much less than that. The hotel staff was also very friendly and they helped us with everything. We could leave our luggage at the front desk before our time for check-in and on our first night we couldn't close the window properly so it was cold we let the receptionists know and by the time we returned to the room the next day it was fixed so overall it was a pleasant experience.

As others said yes there was a lot of noise on the corridors even at night because the corridors are really narrow with a lot of doors and the rooms are really close to each other but I didn't have a problem with since it was obviously people checking-in and the staff cleaning the rooms. As others also noted there was a sewage smell in the bathroom when we first arrived but it was nothing a 5 minute ventilation couldn't solve. So overall the some reviews are right there are small problems but the positives outweigh the negatives in my opinion.

Our 4th time at this hotel. I always look here first when I'm needing a hotel for an annual music festival at Easter that is centred in Camden Town. The location is perfect for the night bus back if the underground is not running as it stops right outside, but it's also only a short walk or bus ride from the train station, when the trains are on. Free parking is a bonus meaning we don't have to travel to London on the train. The beds have always been comfortable and the shower hot and strong. The fridge is an added bonus too.

The breakfast has always been a bit different to your usual hotel fare, but this time there were a couple of items missing that left it lacking for us. The discounted breakfast price for booking it in advance was a nice touch though. We stayed two nights but only had breakfast on the first morning, which was handy as we had a lay in and didn't need to rush around to fit it before check out.

Room was clean and refurbished, rooms clean and neat.

Safe didn't work and the room was sweltering hot, very hard to sleep in that heat. Requested another fan but they didnt have one. It was a very warm day so can be understable, but the reception and common areas all have air con so it was a bit misleading, steps need to be taken to cool down the rooms. Other than that the stay really was very pleasant and would stay again.

When I needed to extend my stay I checked on booking.com but I wasn't able to. As it was short notice and there was only one room left on the app, I booked it with the risk that I might need to check out and then check back in again later the same day. When I arrived at the hotel they were able to give me the same room straight through my whole stay so I didn't need to factor it into my days plans.

The fact that booking.com has been badgering me for a review on my second booking since I checked out even though I left a review on the first booking.

The bed are comfortable and the location is great and it’s only a 10 minute walk to the tube station with lots of shops and food places around. The room is very spacious and is good for a family or a group of people.

The staff were a little standoffish at first and the tv didn’t work in our room and neither did the hair dryer. And there was dirt on the bedding. And there was only 2 plug sockets in the room so I recommended brining an extension lead. And there was a weird smell coming from the shower.

I booked a double bed room, though being on my own, since it cost only 2 Pounds more than a single room. I also asked for a room in one of the upper floors at the reception and I was given one in the 2nd floor. The room was perfectly okay - clean, comfortable, not too small, good view - actually much better than in most budget hotels I have stayed before in London. The bathroom was smallish but everything worked well. I like Golders Green since it's easy to get to the city centre by Underground and easy to get to Stansted and Luton airports by National Express Bus. I didn't take breakfast since I had to leave very early. Slept well, everything was fine.

WiFi didn't work very well.

We loved the size of the room, we booked a family room for three of us and we got two double beds, and a really good sized bathroom. We also had a wardrobe space which we didn't really use but if we were staying more than one night, we would have used it. Also it might seem strange but we loved that the windows opened fully, and also that there was a proper velux window in the bathroom, with three women getting ready for an event things can get warm and stressful so it was so nice to open the windows and create decent air flow to keep us cool and calm!

I think the only thing we would change is for there to be a lift installed but we managed the stairs okay!

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast (pancakes, eggs, hash browns, beans, yogurt, salad, cheese, bread). Shops and caffes nearby. Bus station at the door of the hotel. Train station 10min to walk.

All was good, but to mention couple things for other guests: Coridors are narrow and very confusing. Breakfast nice, but no meat. Almost everything in the street is closed on Friday evening.
