Easy & quick check-in. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Modern room with kitchenette and nice shower. 10 minutes walk from Golders Green tube station, 25-30 minutes walk from beautiful Hampstead Heath.

Located in a nice area but on a busy road, although it does get quieter at night. It might take a while to reach the main tourist areas by tube (for some guests less familiar with London transport). Some extra kitchenware (tea towels, chopping board, wooden spoon, tablecloth) would be great. Room doors tend to be quite noisy when closing, maybe they could be prevented from slamming by adjusting the automatic closers?

Perfect location, felt safe and was very quiet in the evening despite being on a high street. Room was very big in comparison to others we have stayed in, in the city. Relatively short walk to the underground in either direction. Very convenient for shops, including late night take aways and off licenses. Comfortable beds, good facilities in the room. Brita filtered drinking water tap and free biscuits - what more can you ask for. Highly recommended.

Very picky criticism is that the bathroom was tired in places so could do with a lick of paint, but that is being very picky. It was genuinely a steal for the price and we have already recommended to others planning on a London stay and we would stay again without hesitation.

The location is exceptional, the hotel is surrounded by local eateries and in what is seemingly a relatively safe location. It is only approximately 5 minutes walk to the Golders Green Tube Station (Northern Line). From there onwards its around a 30 minute direct tube journey in to Tottenham Court Road where you can either shop and drink or swap to any other lines. I stayed mid week but was impressed by the fact that a lot of the eateries and bakeries opened early and shut late. You aren't going to go hungry here! Prices are all very reasonable and there is a Tesco practically next door. Also there are a significant number of restaurants to choose from no matter what you fancy eating! The rooms have everything you could possibly need in order to live for a few days, shower was powerful, room was clean. Bed was comfy, TV is modern enough that you can screen mirror your phone when needed.

The room I stayed in was a little tired, paint flaking off the walls, floor quite worn but in all honesty none of it was a cause for concern. I got exactly what I expected for the price of the hotel.

Good location, far from the centre but only a short walk from a bus station and tube station, so easy to get to where you need to go, and there are a lot of nice food places nearby. Clean and spacious room, not much natural light as my room faced a small alley/street. Some scuffs on the floor and door, but otherwise very neat and tidy. Bed was quite hard, but I’ve found that’s common with many hotels, so definitely not unique to this one. TV had netflix, amazon prime and a few other streaming services, so very good if you plan to spend a night in the room. Nice and quiet aside from the odd sounds of someone getting a shower, but that wasn’t very often. No noise from the street at all. Didn’t use the small kitchenette in my room, so not sure how those facilities were, but all in all a very nice room. Could’ve been cheaper, but higher prices are to be expected in London.

Bathroom had an odd smell, kind of damp, but not strong and only noticed it when first entering the room.

Room clean. Bed comfortable. Shower great.

There was a foul smell now and again in room 108. Not sure if it was the drain in the sink or the bathroom but only occured every now and again. Coffee Machine didnt work correctly. All in all the room was adequate for what we needed

The hotel is conveniently placed for us, as we were visiting family in Golders Green, and it’s a short walk from the Tube and bus station. There are supermarkets close by and Tesco Express is right next door. Reception staff were friendly, and we were allowed to leave our bags in reception after checking out, which was appreciated. It was great to have a mini kitchenette in the room with fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, Nespresso coffee machine and Brita filtered water. The shower was powerful and the water hot. The ensuite was spacious.

We had a rear facing room and it had no view. The room was a little tired and badly needed a refresh and decorating. The sliding door to the en-suite kept jamming. It would have very been helpful to have had a small supply of long life milk for the tea and coffee. Just a few small touches would have made our stay even better and would encourage us to return.

Great value for money! The staff were always nice and the room had everything that we needed during our stay. Double room is a nice size, thought it was nice how they made use of the space with the kitchen facilities in the cupboard with everything you need. Bed was comfortable and the area is quiet at night. Everything was perfect for a few nights stay, thank you :)

Nothing to really complain about, however if I’m being picky the room had a strange smell the entire time which we couldn’t work out what it was. Tried airing out the room and spraying air freshener as well but it didn’t work. Wasn’t overly bothered just strange!

Location was very good - bus links on main road and tube 10 minutes walk away. Very comfortable room. Facilities very good, but the microwave was above head height (not the safest of positions). Receptionist was extremely patient with me (forgot my passport and had to arrange for a colleague to email their copy). Plenty of restaurants to sample as well as Tesco and Sainsbury's for basic provisions. .

The microwave was above head height, so not very safe. When washing up before departure I thought it best to at least give it a wipe. To do this I had to stand on a chair. I was quite dismayed to see just how dirty the interior was. I suspect that the microwave is too high up for even the housekeeping staff to reach! Consequently, there was quite a build up of grease and food detritus.

The beds were good, the blackout blinds were excellent and the place was quiet as it didn’t seem to be in a noisy area.The air con was good and needed as it was so warm outside. When the TV remote didn’t work late on the first night, the receptionist changed it and got it working again. It was also good to have USB points for charging phones etc.

A few little things for the kitchen such as a tea towel which I had to go out and buy. Also even though we did have washing up liquid, we couldn’t use it really as we couldn’t block the sink so either provide a small washing up bowl or have a correct plug for the sink. Also Bigger glasses to drink from would be better as they were so small.

Found this little place for a last min trip when a lot of the hotels were booked up or had inflated prices. Staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was ready well before the standard check in time. Location was great 10 mins walk from Golders Green tube and well serviced by bus link to finchley park, Marylebone and Baker street. The room was basic but very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchenette was a great little perk. Absolutely fantastic value for money. Local area had some great food places and we even did some clothes shopping in the little stores around. The area felt safe even late at night walking home with my teenage daughter and everyone was welcoming when we visited shops and restaurants. Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel and book again.
