I had read some negative reviews on Google and was a bit worried but, in fact, the small hotel/pub is charming and clean with good food and beer in a casual but warm environment. The room is very small but in great shape and with a great rainshower plus handheld showerhead in the compact but spotless bathroom. HVAC is new and perfect. We visited on some of the hottest days in London and, if anything, the HVAC had to be "toned down" a bit. Rooms have maid service and linen changes daily. But the absolute highlight is Bhagrav; the manager for three years. We were nearly 3 hours delayed, arriving at midnight, and Bhagrav was right there with a smile and every possible offer of help. This was his mode thru the entire stay: offering help and helpful information and always greeting us with a warm smile. Its a small hotel and, as is typical with this genre, there's no elevator, just FYI. Even so, Bhagrav offered to carry our luggage at entry opportunity. We declined but appreciated the offer, definitely. Location is between Marble Arch and Regent's Park. Bfast isn't provided ... there are some old mentions of that ... but Black Sheep Coffee opens at 7 and is just 2 mins walkaway with bfast sandwiches, muffins, etc. At 8 Boxcar Cafe opens with some unique and tasty options!

We loved the pub down stairs and the staff here were very friendly, the owner/manager was a really nice guy, the beds were comfy (a double & a single bed/chair) The showere was very very good, the towels soft and clean, the decor was modern and fresh. The aircon was a godsend. A rokm safe was a great touch. The manager insisted the wife drank for free saturday evening for free due to no working tv in the room (she had 3 bottles of prosecco at £8 a bottle and snacks). 10min walk from Edgeware Rd tube station, dozens of places to eat and buy snacks etc between hotel & tube.

The tv didnt work, butt that wasnt a massive issue as we were not in London to sit 'home' and watch tv. Was no spoon with the tea & coffee station, and in the mornings there was a clear issue with damp on the external walls on day 1 but leaving windows open cured that for day 2. We were on 3rd floor room 302 which was a struggle for the wife as shes disabled BUT we didnt inform hotel prior so not their fault.

100% great value for money. In a quiet location but only a few minutes walk to nearest train/tube station. The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom clean and the shower was fantastic. Toiletries provided as well. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Even though it was a Friday night and the rooms are above a pub there was no noise at all. The young man that checked us in was so friendly and helpful. Even said we didn't have to rush off in the morning and we could check out a little later if we wanted to. We had a few drinks in the pub downstairs which is lovely. Decent hotel rooms in central London usually come at a premium but this was very affordable. We will definitely use it again.

Quite a lot of narrow windy stairs to get to our room on the second floor so if you are not very mobile it would be an issue. Cant be helped. Its an old building and thats how its designed. The net curtain in our room was torn in a few places and could do with replacing. Only 1 pillow each provided. Could do with an extra one as they were quite flat. But none of these things are a big issue.

The hotel itself is lovely; warm, clean, and very cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. But what really made the difference was the guy at the reception, Barbil. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went out of his way to make everything smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend this place, especially thanks to the amazing service!

Details like the bathroom door not closing or the hair dryer not really dryer.

Bed was really comfy, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location not a far walk from Oxford street and Hyde park.

Could of done with a a better dust down but not really that bothered about that. Room was clean enough. Breakfast that was included was very little to say it was to cover 2 adults 1 child. 2 cartons of apple juice, 2 oat bars and 1 croissant.

The staff was very helpful and kind. On our first day in London, our wallet was stolen in a bus and when we reported the incident to the staff they helped us by giving the numbers to call the police and they asked us if we needed anything else to help us. The location was very good, as it is close to the metro around 7-8 walking minutes. The rooms are above a pub which serves amazing food.You should really try it. Also it is value for money as it is cheaper than the average rooms. It is the best option but mostly because of the people who work there..Keep going!!!

This is a lovely, well priced, boutique hotel, not a corporate soulless box. I love that it's air conditioned, quiet, quirky and so central (10 minutes' walk from Edgware Rd tube). There's a bar on the ground floor and the manager is charming. The beds are comfy, curtains are blackout and the showers are gorgeous. Really impressive for the cost, so I'll be back soon. This place is friendly and welcoming, which is far better than most of the hotels I've stayed in. It felt like my visit mattered.

The room was just what we needed (family of 3), great value despite being on the small side. Location is perfect. The room was quiet, aircon was working, internet was working. Shower is very good, clean, modern. Would stay here again.

The only downside is having to carry suitcases upstairs but for a few minutes of this difficulty you get amazing value for money for London and immaculate room and shower.

The staff was so nice, very accommodating we arrived early and they let us have a drink in the bar,leave bags and took them up to our room for when we returned! Location really close to everything too

Little things that need a bit of maintenance like shower plug and the toilet flusher, but really minor things. We tried to contact them beforehand for early check in and never got an answer, i think contact number needs updating
