Room was spacious, wonderful view, clean, comfortable and included bottled water, kettle and coffee/tea in the room. Food was delicious and great service (friendly and professional). Liked that they stored our luggage until our room was ready. Response to requests for service and maintenance was immediate. Liked that there were cabs ready to take, restaurants and stores nearby, and converters and umbrellas to rent. Location was perfect (close to iconic attractions and multiple transportation options nearby) and the view from the room was amazing!

Wi-Fi had connectivity issues, slow speed. Elevators were slow (especially during check in and check out times). Afternoon tea pastries @Vu from the Tower were stale (but seating/view was ideal).

Location was fantastic. Drinking Pimms at the hotel outside bar with views of the London Bridge & the Thames. Also paid to upgrade for room with a view of the Bridge. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Beautiful breakfast. The Tower of London just a short stroll away.

This was my second stay at hotel & arrived at same time, earlier than check-in time. However on first occasion, the receptionist booked us in with no issues, but on this occasion the receptionist wanted to charge me £30 fee to book in earlier. Don’t understand why this is the case if the room is ready?? There was a very large queue for breakfast, but staff worked hard to get everyone seated as quickly as they could. Rooms, bathrooms are also a little dated & could do with modernising.

Our bridge room view was incredible. The hotel was well appointed, the elevators were refreshingly updated and fast, and the staff were great.

The fittings were quite dated but in pretty good condition. There were too few towel bars in the bathroom, though. We had to leave our hand towel on the counter next to the sink. Also, it would have been nice to have 2 lounge chairs next to the table at the window instead of just the 1. One of us had to sit on the desk chair, which was a little less comfortable. Also, we were never quite sure if the AC actually did anything despite running at maximum the whole time... That being said, we were there in late June, and the room never got too uncomfortable. Final comment: the beds were very stiff. New, but stiff. It was a little hard to get comfy, but we slept well regardless.

View and location was excellent. For a standard room was impressed with view. Room was large and well equipped Bed so incredibly comfy

Bathroom fittings were very dated and some bits were rusty. Didn’t affect my stay but may bother others. Stairwell could do with smartening up and better signage. I hate lifts so used the stairs but struggled to find them initially There were 3 of us in the room so would have been good to have 3 cups , 3 biscuits , 3 glasses etc Room was ready early and we were offered an early check in but it would have cost £30 . It would have been a nice touch to have said room is ready so you are welcome to check in early. If the room was ready and no one else was going to be using it then it felt disappointing to say in effect room is sitting there empty but you can’t check in without paying extra.

Very good location, easy to reach and quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet and warm rooms.

The furniture in the rooms is a bit outdated. Lack of accessories in the rooms such as bathroom accessories.

Loved the view from our first room and how quiet the second room was.

Hated the interconnecting door with zero sound proofing in our first room and our loud talking neighbors from 0200 - 0400 hrs in the morning.

Before I stayed here I was a little worried about all the bad reviews regards the temperature in the room (very hot). Let me say I didn't experience this at all. They had the desk fan running and the windows open and the temperature was great. I stayed multiple days. The breakfast was amazing - had a full English breakfast as well as fresh fruit every day. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The location was terrific and I had a view of half of Tower Bridge.

The lifts were mid. Not so bad if you avoid 9am but if you try to use them at peak times, it's best to go up before you go down. The shower/bath drained a little slowly, but not enough to annoy me. The faucets in the sink don't extend enough over the sink and the sink drains very slowly but once again, not enough to annoy me.

The bridge view from the room was just incredible. Breath taking ! The hotel bar and restaurant are also wonderful. The food and drinks choice were great and exceeded expectations ! Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Some parts of the wallpaper are peeling away. Draw handles were loose and we had black mould in the shower and window sill. The bathroom grout could use refreshing, considering the price of the room these things should be addressed.

The location is absolutely fantastic, the staff were brilliant. Just be aware that when booking even if you've clicked that you'd like a room with the view it may not necessarily be of tower bridge (my fault for not looking properly) though the view we had of the marina and the city was fantastic. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Make sure you check what view you'd like, I didn't check properly when booking and unfortunately didn't have the view of tower bridge, though the view behind the hotel was also fantastic.

I was given the type of room I requested. The room had lovely view of the river and bridge. The staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. The hotel was within easy travelling distance for me to get to my meetings at Guy's Hospital. One particular receptionist by the name of Monserat was particularly lovely.

I think the hotel is being renovated. This was not mentioned at check-in. Part of the corridor was closed off. Most importantly, there was no fire escape route as the area was closed off. The only route to get to the ground floor was by the lift which one should not use in case of a fire.
