What a lovely stay! The hotel is situated in a refurbished warehouse, which means lots of space and original design - this much we knew from the information we found online before booking. What we only found out at the spot was how convenient the location was (very close to one of the main Manchester train stations, within easy walking distance to a lot of the city sights and with plentiful communication links to the ones more further away) and how nice the people working there will turn out to be. A special shout out to the stubbled gentleman that worked the breakfast shift - he was exceptional.
The place was generally much better than anticipated when it comes to soundproofing (for example, we didn't hear a single thing from the refurbishment works that are taking place on a couple of the floors), but one exception was when some disruptive guests spent one night in the room next to us, smoking, banging the doors and shouting long into the night. Of course, that's not the hotel's fault, with the personnel taking steps to curb this behaviour.

Native Manchester was in a great location. It was close to the train station for our arrival in Manchester (and departure.) The rooms were comfortable. It was handy to have kitchen facilities in our studio. The bar area downstairs was a nice area to relax and have a drink or two after a day out exploring Manchester. We found a food market nearby which was opened during the day (closed at 6pm) - which had a variety of delicious foods.
They had a new system for room access. We were notified via email of our room number and door code on the morning of our arrival. Lucky we checked into reception (just after 3) as our room wasn’t ready. The room we were given was on the 6th floor. Unfortunately it took us a few trips to reception to get access to our room, as our door codes wouldn’t work - 3rd time lucky. Hopefully by now they have their new systems sorted out.

It's definitely different from all those boring chain hotels. There's a lively atmosphere downstairs with a DJ setup, people mingling—some working on their laptops, others eating, drinking, or chatting—while the rooms above are silent and stylish. À la carte breakfast is served until 3 p.m. (at least on weekends). We were in a rush in the morning, so we took advantage of the option to have a free meal for lunch instead. All city centre attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is very close to Piccadilly Station, but as we arrived by car, we used the pre-booked paid parking located under the building, which was super convenient. Oh, and I liked their shampoos so much that I bought a set for myself!

Beautiful hotel, very modern with an industrial feel. Nice to have the space of the apartment not just a bedroom. I didn’t stay long enough to use the facilities downstairs however the atmosphere, drink and food offer looked very appealing. I was able to grab a takeout coffee. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to lock my luggage away as I was too early to check in. Reception is staffed 24/7. There is a car park on site which is an additional cost.
The car park is difficulty to find, but it is right next to the hotel behind some metal fencing. It is very secure as accessed by camera, shutter and door pin. £20 for 24hours.

Lovely room, clean and equipped, stunning building, near train station. Worth the money. Nice staff, at the reception, but especially cleaning lady :)
Complimentary coffee was literally tasting like the plastic bag it was in. Please change the brand. Lights in our room were hanging so low we kept on hitting our heads on it. Probably done so to hang over the table, which has since been moved elsewhere - please adjust the height to avoid potential injuries. Downstairs restaurant could use a bit of an improvement in terms of staff paying attention etc - for the price, one would expect some service.

Everything. I was in Room 616 on the 6th floor, a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious yet extremely comfortable and cosy. There was only one window that opened but it provided ample fresh air into the space. The bed was firm but with a mattress topper was very comfortable...and I'm very picky about hotel beds. I really liked having a ceiling fan which helped circulate the air within the bedroom. The bathroom was superb too, with a lovely hot shower with good water pressure, lovely complimentary toiletries, a heated towel rack, fluffy towels. I ordered a Ducie breakfast on one of the morning which was amazing and cooked to perfection. The only thing I would have liked is a glass of freshly squeeze OJ with my meal but it was reasonably priced for the quality. Even the bacon came out crispy. I really enjoyed the soft lighting throughout, which made the apartment very cosy and warm but with plenty of light in the bathroom for shaving/makeup etc. This is definitely worth a repeat visit and is now my goto apartment hotel for future visits to Manchester.
The only thing I didn't like was the noise, mainly the bass, that seemed to penetrate the apartment from the ground floor. This was due to a wedding downstairs at the time of checking in, but was gone by later that night and the hotel remained quiet for the remainder of my 2 night stay.

The hotel is spot on and the location is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only 2 things which I didn’t like were: 1. The windows didn’t stay open. They are on restricted, which I understand but even then they didn’t stay open, I had to use a cheese grater to prop it open. 2. The settee isn’t comfy at all. The material is very scratchy and we had to use the bed throw to cover it so we could sit on it. The same with the cushions! Perhaps a softer material could be used when replacing them. So all of this meant sitting in at night to watch tv wasn’t a great experience.

Love the industrial feel of this place. It’s my second trip to Native and it didn’t disappoint. DSG food was great, but I feel the Vegan burger is overpriced, considering it’s only half the size of the chicken burger, which is priced the same.
Heating/AC was fixed and it was very warm up on the 6th floor. Fortunately the windows open wide enough to get a nice breeze through :) There should be more choice in the ‘Pantry’, as even though there’s a supermarket nearby, I would’ve purchased some munchies on the way back to my room from Canal Street at 3am. Fortunately, I found a Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Bar in my bag :)

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel apartment. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment, which was a pleasant delight. It felt like we were staying in our own flat as it was very comfortable and had a homey feel. The apartment was very clean, not one speck of dust. We were on the first floor which wasn't bad with the music playing on the ground floor - Staff are really friendly - Great central location I would defo come back when I'm next in Manchester
Dim lighting TV flickered/buffered throughout the stay It would be good to have robes, bathroom slippers, normal toiletry supplies Shower hose not particularly strong Heating takes a while to heat up due to large room space Other than those I would still come back :-)

The building is a beautiful renovation of an old industrial space, a really lovely concept, well executed. Our room was a generous size and was well equipped. We stayed a couple of nights but it would have been comfortable for a longer stay. Reception staff were warm, friendly and helpful.
There was some street noise that we hadn't expected as we'd chosen this location to avoid it and it's not mentioned on other reviews. On Saturday night we were woken up twice in the night by shouting from the street (we were on Second Floor, probably better in a higher room). There was no traffic noise, that was fine. We could also hear quite ordinary low level conversation through the living room wall from the neighbouring apartment, that really was a surprise. As it says in some other reviews, the heater in the living room isn't big enough to cope with a cold evening (even in April) and we had to wear our coats on one of the two nights. The bedroom is a smaller area and did warm up nicely.
