Stayed on a Sunday night to go see Iron Maiden! A bit out of the way but that meant it was lovely and quiet, and it was no problem to get an Uber or walk into the centre. For value and size of the room for 3 people, it was a bargain really! Room was super clean and comfy, two single beds and a big sofa bed. Bathroom with a shower was spot on. Got a set of keys to let ourselves back in after the pub had closed, easy-peasy. Can't complain at all! :) One particular member of staff, but I can't remember his name for the life of me! He was on shift till 5pm Sunday 22nd, and he was there the morning after on opening shift i assume. Absolutely lovely guy and really helpful with the room and at breakfast time. Just want to give my praise to him if it can be passed on :) Breakfast was great, and good value. We had the breakfast sandwiches, sausage are really good! Now i know where it is, will definitely stay again or pop in for a pint some time.

Can't complain about anything! It was rather hot but not much you can do about that on a sunny day! Unless the rooms are supplied with a fan or some kind of air con, but the window opened a bit so we left it open all night. Did the job :)

I stayed with my 2 old school friends, a 2-night stay it was our Christmas reunion. My husband booked this for us and it was brilliant. Lovely and warm, the beds were super comfy all the staff were exceptional and the pub itself is so lovely. It's so nice to be in an original traditional pub/ hotel it was fab. Thank you to The Oxnoble Hotel we shall be back. 🥰

Squeaky bathroom door which had us in fits of laughter, not a squeaky floorboard whilst you tiptoe past your sleeping companions......think you've made it and then the biggest squeak you've ever heard as you open the bathroom door and wake everyone up 🤣. It's not a negative because we loved staying there was just funny.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The man who checked us in was lovely. The room was very clean and appealing. The bed was really comfortable and the ensuite was perfect! After a busy day shopping, my sister and I enjoyed having a drink in the bar with all of the festive music on and then just went up the room after, no need for taxis, etc. The breakfast was delicious! It was a really nice trip. Thank you

We couldn't tune our smart TV, but as we were only in the room for a small amount of time, it wasn't an issue, and if we were there for longer, we would have asked for some assistance.

The location was perfect, just a 5-10 minute walk from Manchester Opera House. The room was really nice and good value for money. I found the bed to be comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot; also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were provided in the room. The staff were friendly and helped with any queries we had. We were given keys to the property, in addition to the room, so that if we arrived after closing time then there would be no issues in gaining access. We had breakfast there the next morning and it was a good sized portion and lovely :) I would 100% book to stay there again.

Parking for above 3 hours is a little difficult. There is one small car park at the side of the pub which allows a longer stay, but is busy.

The staff were very welcoming, helped us carry our bags upstairs and explained our stay well. The room was very spacious, clean and well decorated. We had some reservations about staying above a pub on a busy road but can safely say we didn’t hear a thing! The TV is modern and we enjoyed putting netflix on just before bed after getting a bottle of fizz from downstairs. The breakfast the next morning was proper tasty pub grub, the hash browns are unreal! All in all, be sure to stay here!

I love the location right next to a main tram spot so you can get anywhere in Manchester with ease. Also, on leaving, we noticed there was a free! Bus to get back to train station right out side Staff was very friendly, and the room was perfect, very clean, and laid out nicely for the group of 3 tv didn't work, but we weren't bothered by that I just suspected the battery was low in remote Amazing value for money if ever back in Manchester will be looking to book again

Location was excellent for the Manchester 10k which was why we booked. Room was comfortable although a little noisy. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the best thing about the place. We will book again next year.

Communication was very poor, messages I sent not replied too, and telephone number was not working , but I believe there was a problem with the WiFi which would explain the problem. Staff made up for it when we arrived.

It was a lovely room over the pub the staff were welcoming and it was a nice check in breakfast was excellent proper good food it was excellent location for us as we were at the theatre it was only 5 minutes walk and same for train station the food menu looked good and the cocktails but we didn’t have time to try them

We couldn’t get the tv to work although we didn’t raise the issue as we just wasn’t there long enough but it’s not really a complaint just an issue

The room was clean and comfortable. Tea/coffee etc provided and a decent hairdryer. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Very good sized bathroom,very clean. Great location for the event we were attending at The Aviva studios

There is some noise from the bar below but that is to be expected. Also my room was looking out into the road so there was significant noise from this, again to be expected due to the location.of the pub. It is a bit of a walk to Arndale etc but trams not far away

The rooms were lovely, with stylish decor and comfortable beds, and the noise from the bar below was not intrusive. The team of staff were also very nice and the chef was excellent- delicious breakfasts! although a bit hot.

When guests are checking in it might be worth mentioning that the outside key turns the other way, as we had a 20 minute panic when we couldn’t get in to the hotel after it had closed. There are signs that we are not the first as the doorframe appears to have been replaced quite recently.
