Fun atmosphere, great environment, good restaurant, comfortable room, great gym and spa facilities

The bathrooms are of an open plan and not the most comfortable when staying with family and friends.

The room on the ninth floor had a stunning south-west view onto Deansgate Railway Station, their Viaducts and several other multi-storey Hotels & Construction sites, & parking lots; the room was very quiet, very clean and very modern. Breakfast ist to a very good standard, I particularly liked the mediterranean spicery to upgrade the mushrooms, which are already super-healthy by providing loads of Polyphenols and Melatonin, by even a slight Rosemary flavouring; when asking for fried eggs fresh out of the kitchen, runny, it comes up to a gourmet breakfast, overall. Lovely selection of crude & seasoned cheeses and cooked bacon vs. savoury Salami, plenty of fresh fruit, ripe, as should be especially the Pineapple and the Grapes. The highlight of the stay was how helpful the front desk crew was, when I unfortunately had left my mobile device on the room, they gave perfect advice to how I could manage a pick-up and International delivery service by Royal Mail! Thanks again!

You should be very close or at least with not the slightest shame towards the person you're sharing the room with, since there is not the slightest barrier enabling any privacy, when stepping out of the shower or toilet.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was nice. The location was perfect, near restaurants and shops, and we parked our car in the nearby Q parking which was a few minutes walk away. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy.

We didn't like the fact that the bathroom was not separate from the rest of the bedroom. You would need to be very close to whoever you're sharing with because, apart from the toilet cubicle, the rest of the bathroom facilities are open-plan. The lighting is a bit odd as well so you have to turn on all the bathroom lights to switch the toilet light on, so at night if you need to go, you have to fumble around in the dark so as not to wake up the person you're sharing with. Like many modern hotels, the windows didn't open, so we had to have the air conditioning on which became a bit dry and stuffy. If we switched it off, it was airless and even more stuffy!

I've stayed here on a few previous occasions and it has become my go-to hotel for central Manchester. It's right next to HOME arts centre, and also a plethora of restaurants and shops. If you were attending an event at the O2 Ritz, that is also about 5-10 mins walk away. The hotel is great value for money compared with the other options locally. In the room, it's very spacious, modern and stylish- you also get a small fridge which is a massive perk. Nice views over the city if you're higher up. I always park in the Q Park at First Street, which is about 100 yards from the hotel.

Good location, just at the end of Deansgate. Perfect location if travelling by tram (Deansgate Castlefield Station), or by train (Manchester Oxford Road Station). Hotel had a wide selection of amenities, check in was quick and efficient, the room was very spacious, and breakfast was great. We were also offered an upgrade to our room for £35 per night as part of their Valentine’s weekend deal which we took advantage of and enjoyed the ‘studio’ room. Added bonus is the photo booth in reception to take away a souvenir of your stay. Overall a great stay at a very reasonable price.

The restaurant was very loud on a Friday/Saturday night. Fine for us but you may want to look at one of the many other restaurants nearby if you’re looking for a more laid back meal. Breakfast was also very busy on a morning, but staff did an excellent job of clearing plates, re-stocking food and cleaning tables to try and minimise impact.

Lovely modern hotel located near Manchester Oxford Road station. Rooms are very comfortable and there's a free minibar! Staff were excellent, friendly and professional. My colleague and I ate at the Gino restaurant and the food was great, with plenty of gluten free options. Whilst the hotel is a little distance from "the centre" it is right next to Home, which has an excellent cinema, gallery and coffee shop. Also right next to other restaurants if you fancy something else.

One of the two lifts was malfunctioning. I was on the 7th floor so this added some time to getting down to the ground floor. Not a major issue but was a little frustrating.

I Loved Breakfast. Great selection, of fruit, yogurts, cheeses, hot food, bakery items, juices and hot drinks. I couldn't stop eating the bakery items once i got started!! SOOO good! The staff for the most part were happy, chatty, and made you feel welcome. I particularly liked the manager at breakfast. she really made it feel like a home from home for me, since I was travelling alone. I also loved my room. I was upsold a suite as soon as I arrived and was checking in. The staff member was, happy, helpful and sold me so well i didn't mind spending the extra to experience what he was talking about. The suite was bigger, 9th floor, good view with a sofa, full mini bar and expresso machine.. Nice! I'm so glad the wellness centre at the hotel was there, the fitness studio, a massage room, the sauna and steam really helped me to de stress. No matter the time of the day, the suite was always clean, sauna and steam ready to go.

One Staff member on breakfast duty. Dismissive, and sulky. She neglected to greet or say good morning, then the next time she walked passed several times without again saying good morning. That was a shame really. However, that's no reflection on the other staff they were fab! The one thing that would have made this place the the proper business is having a pool.

I selected the hotel due to the offer of fast and unlimited internet, so that I could work from the room for a few days. The internet was indeed fast and reliable. The room was also very clean and I really enjoyed the free soft drinks provided. The location was perfect, as it was easy to get to the event I was attending and there were lots of good places to eat and have drinks nearby.

The mattress was too hard for me, and this made it hard for me to fall asleep and I woke up several times throughout the night. The beds would be great for people who enjoy hard mattresses however. The one thing I though was quite odd was the open-plan style lay-out of the bathroom. Although this made the room look more spacious, it does mean the shower cubicle opened straight into the bedroom. This was fine for me as a single traveler, but if I had shared my twin room with a friend or colleague, then this may have been a rather awkward situation.

Excellent location, and very near a secure car park. The inside was decorated for Christmas and looked beautiful. The room was lovely and warm with a nice selection of complimentary drinks in the fridge. Could probably have done with a few more sachets of milk and coffee. Breakfast was very good, the only thing I would have liked is more vegetarian hot food. If this was available, nobody mentioned it, but the continental selection was good. We love the location, the cleanliness, and the price of the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Great location, only a few minutes walk away from Deansgate train/metro station. Reception staff were friendly and approachable and made us feel very comfortable. Hotel services included complimentary minibar and use of a sauna/gym which was a great bonus. The room was spotless and perfectly spacious for a twin bed and the bed itself was very comfortable. There was no noise throughout the night from the nearby area aside from fireworks but it was New Years Eve after all.

Even with the temperature control on the room did chill over the night a bit. Other than that no negatives.
