The room featured a very large super kind bed which was extremely comfy so we had a good couple nights sleep. Breakfast was very good with ample selection of food which included a good selection for vegetarians. Food was fresh and topped up regularly (special mention about the scrambled eggs- bangin'!). Restaurant had a lovely décor although we did not use it for evening dining. Bathroom was interesting with its open plan design (except the toilet), which was an unusual feature but not unpleasant, to note if not travelling as a couple, guests may have an issue with this. There was also a foosball table and photobooth at the entrance which was a nice alternative to the bog standard hotel entrances.

Toilet itself may be a bit claustrophobic for future guests with it being separate in a cupboard / or WC. As mentioned, bathroom is open plan and may not be suitable for those not travelling as a couple etc.

Really enjoyed the facilities on site, the free mini bar in there room and AC and of course the staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. We made use of the fun photo booth, the umbrella hire. There was an art exhibition on the first floor, comfy lounge type seating on the terrace outside. Overall impressive. Oh and the hotel accommodated us with early check in and free bag storage on departure Rooms were quiet, well equipped and clean. Lots of variety for breakfast.

We would have liked the option of additional pillows in the room. And the beds felt a little hard though that is a personal preference for most. More gluten free options could be available at breakfast time. Minor things compared to the overall experience. We loved it.

I had emailed and spoken to front desk as I was travelling with a person with complex needs and requested a check in early to attend families wedding. After sitting in reception for 2 hours at 12 I was told that I could not check in until 3pm and that I could get ready with the person with additional needs in the spa changing room, I could not iron our clothes and it was very stressful trying to get him showered and changed in a ladies changing room with other guests coming in and out. Also I took him to the restaurant and orders a child Mrs as he only eats very plain food to be charged for an adults full meal where he had a plain burger no bun and chips only ! Found the lack of consideration very surprising

We had a 'junior suite', & it was very comfortable, with plenty of space inside the room. There was a reasonable view outside, & all other facilities were fine. The staff were very helpful indeed, and the restaurant, & especially breakfast, were great. The location next to a very vibrant public area made it interesting, and the closeness to discounted car parking was extremely helpful.

We checked in on time, but there was a slight delay in accessing the room. When drawn to the attention of staff, they were most apologetic, and gave us a voucher for free drinks in the restaurant, which was fine.

We were in Manchester for the Oasis gig. We arrived at the hotel at around 11.30 intending to drop off our luggage. The lovely gentleman at reception said he would check to see if there was a room ready and there was so he allowed us to check in there and then. The hotel is wonderful and in a wonderful spot, the rooms are fantastically clean and the hotel facilities are wonderful as is the team. Our group had breakfast before we departed on Sunday and again it was lovely with plenty of choice and variety. We would definitely stop here again. A 10/10 experience.

We were advised that the car park was adjacent to the hotel, it isn't. Difficult to find the hotel. The hairdryer was unsafe and patched up with black tape. The bath was difficult to operate due to the screen next to the bath without getting into the bath. We did NOT like the lack of privacy in the room. No door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The sink doesn't keep the water in the sink. I am allergic to peppers. I asked for a no pepper meal. I was recommended sea bass. My partner tasted the garnish and I complained. The chef insisted that no peppers were in the meal...there was. I would have thought my safety was important to the hotel as I could have been seriously ill. We were offered ice cream for the inconvenience. Breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee.

Wonderful...From entering the hotel the attention to detail, aroma, the decoration, flower arrangements, everything was so welcoming. The front of house were great. The room was open plan with full view of the bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, with many options and if you ask, other items are available (hashbrowns, fried eggs). All staff were very accommodating. We didn't have time on this occasion to use all the facilities at the hotel (steam room) on our next visit we will. Free soft drink minibar is a welcoming addition.

Only a slight dislike is the location, ideally would love this hotel right next to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Some paintwork on the walls of the room, they were chipped in a few places.

The location of the hotel is brilliant, we were only staying for one night to go to a gig at the Castlefield Bowl which is a 10 minute walk away which was perfect for us. There is parking 2 minutes away from the hotel again as massive bonus for us. The hotel was immaculate, the staff were friendly and attentive and the room was spacious and very clean. Big comfy bed, toiletries, coffee tea and drinks were very sufficient in the room. The fridge was stocked with at least 6 cans of water and fizzy pop all free of charge which was a lovely touch. Over all very impressed and we will certainly be back.

The bathrooms are of an open plan and not the most comfortable when staying with family and friends.

The room on the ninth floor had a stunning south-west view onto Deansgate Railway Station, their Viaducts and several other multi-storey Hotels & Construction sites, & parking lots; the room was very quiet, very clean and very modern. Breakfast ist to a very good standard, I particularly liked the mediterranean spicery to upgrade the mushrooms, which are already super-healthy by providing loads of Polyphenols and Melatonin, by even a slight Rosemary flavouring; when asking for fried eggs fresh out of the kitchen, runny, it comes up to a gourmet breakfast, overall. Lovely selection of crude & seasoned cheeses and cooked bacon vs. savoury Salami, plenty of fresh fruit, ripe, as should be especially the Pineapple and the Grapes. The highlight of the stay was how helpful the front desk crew was, when I unfortunately had left my mobile device on the room, they gave perfect advice to how I could manage a pick-up and International delivery service by Royal Mail! Thanks again!

You should be very close or at least with not the slightest shame towards the person you're sharing the room with, since there is not the slightest barrier enabling any privacy, when stepping out of the shower or toilet.
