Warm Hospitality and a Perfect Family Getaway **Rating:** ★★★★★ or as my two year old would say 10/10 with two thumbs up. We had a fantastic stay at Trevarrian Lodge! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they really couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was cosy and comfortable, and all three of us, including our 2-year-old, slept wonderfully in the beds. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by Jean a d Declan. Jean went above and beyond to make our little one feel special, offering him milkshakes and making sure he had exactly what he wanted for breakfast. It’s those personal touches that truly made our stay memorable. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely beautiful. A great way to start each day. The location was also ideal—a quick 3-minute drive or a pleasant 22-minute walk to Mawgan Porth Beach. The beach had plenty of activities to keep us entertained, making it a perfect spot for family fun. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this

I had a wonderful stay in the Trevarrian Lodge B&B. The owners Jean and Declan were very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. As soon as I arrived I felt at ease in their welcoming atmosphere which was homely and warm. Both their dogs Dexter and Roxy equally welcomed me into their home. Within the B&B they have an information table set up with all types of trips, visits and maps available to take and look at. Along with a fresh water tank to fill up bottles. They also offer tea, coffee, water and treats with the providing of an honesty box should you take an item to pay for via the box. I think this is a wonderful idea. The room was perfect and the bed was super comfy. There were a few storms whilst I stayed but I could hardly hear them during the night so I had a great nights sleep all nights. They have a 9 piece pork based breakfast alternatives were also an option and you could select the whole full English or a variety of options which was cooked by Declan. They also had selection of pastries such as croissants, yogurt, cereal, fruit and homemade jams available. All the jams were extremely tasty especially the kiwi jam - certainly worth a taste! It was yummy! I enjoyed my conversations with Jean and Dec and I will certainly return to their cute b&b. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Tara (From London)

A lovely stay, comfortable and warm. Good proximity to the Southwest Coastpath and to the Traveller's Rest pub (3 minutes walk). Very friendly hosts, fantastic breakfast with home-made jams and marmalades, full English and other options. Fresh fruit available at all times. Very dog friendly, providing towels for the dogs downstairs as well as water. Everywhere was absolutely spotless, surfaces shone. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!

Loved everything about our stay there!

The owners (and their lovely dogs) were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the place was nice and clean and we had a lovely breakfast. Close to the beach and only a short drive into Newquay

We had a lovely stay, but my only small gripe was that there seems to be zero soundproofing in the floors/ceilings and the walls are paper thin, so we could hear every conversation below and next to us. We weren’t in the hotel during the day much anyway, so didn’t really matter

Check in was pleasant, free sweets and fruit being a bonus. Our hostess was delightful and gave us lots of information about the area. Breakfast was made to order and there were home made preserves.

Keys and doors are a little fiddly. There was an area with some accumulated dust, which I didn't notice, but my wife is a stickler for these things and she pointed it out. It wouldn't put me off.

The bottom bunk bed had been set up with a rail for our son. There were vegan biscuits in our room which were a lovely touch. Jean was also a really friendly and warm host. Breakfast was delicious with lots of vegan options again.

The shower in the family room was either way too hot or too cold which meant we couldn't shower our son as it was unsafe for him. On our second breakfast Declan started clearing up the continental breakfast items before we had finished. It made us feel like we were being rushed even though it was before 9.30 (when breakfast ends)

Lovely friendly owners who went out of their way to make sure my needs were fully catered for. Excellent value for money with full breakfast or continental included. I had booked a small single room as I was on my own. Very comfortable. Ample tea, coffee and biscuits. Clean and warm too. I will definitely come back in the summer as 2 beaches are close by as well.

We were very pleased overall with our accommodation. Jean and Declan were super hosts and the room was very clean with lovely clean linen.

The stairs were creaky and quite noisy which were next to our room so not ideal. The outside of the building didn't look particularly welcoming and could be improved to give a better first impression.

The hosts were so kind and helpful. I had problems with my phone charger and they went out of their way to help me. They also offered a very reasonable laundry service. The room was very nice with comfortable white duvets and because of the country location I loved the morning birdsong and had my window open all the time. The facilities were great and offered a hot tub for guests and a lounge where you could purchase snacks and drinks for a reasonable price. The breakfasts were big and delicious with fresh fruit available too. The location was outside of Newquay but reachable on the local bus and close to the coastal trail and beach. Good pub a block away.

We had an Excellent stay with exceptional service from the most welcoming hosts we've come across to date. The breakfast provided was beautiful & served in a very nicely organised breakfast room. You were left wanting nothing as everything you would require for a satisfying breakfast was available to you including, a choice of cereals, fresh fruits & juices, etc. If you fancied a more hearty breakfast they also provided a first-class English breakfast which my Wife really enjoyed. Our hosts Jean & Declan were always on hand to ensure that you left wanting nothing & the friendly service they provided was very much appreciated.
