Good size property ideal for family of 4. Dog friendly too so great as kennel is never an option for my dog as she is literally another child for us. Property was clean and had everything can think of needing. Never met owners but were very good keeping me updated with information and kept in contact. We didn't go for seaside trip but for family funeral and was in ideal location for us, but it's ideal location for seaside as literally at the end of the road and your there. We didn't use any appliances so cant comment on functions as ate out but there was cooking facilities and fridge freezer. Little extras like dvds, wii games also access to netflix good idea to keep kids happy and WiFi great as kids always on phones or tablets. keyless entry with code that gets sent on the day to gain entry very simple and straight forward. We stayed during the week it was quiet and beds were comfy and slept well. Would happily recommend and stay again.

Only minor dislike Sofa wasn't very comfortable and can be used as extra bed but I wouldn't imagine it be comfy as bed nor would it fit any of us to sleep on due to size but wasnt a problem as we all had a bed.

Great location, only 5 mins from the beachfront. The parking space is a real bonus as local parking is around £25 for the day. Property is big and the facilities in the kitchen were more than ample. The hosts were lovely people with great communication. Everyone enjoyed their stay and I would happily stay again.

I was initially a bit nervous about paying the security deposit as I hadn't done this before through Booking.com. It worked really well though and was returned quickly without any issues.

Location was excellent near to beach shops etc, but would say the postcode Google maps takes you straight past it, should advise it’s the house on end with the fantastic Muriel on side of house you’d find it straight away then

Not being able to find it straight away as google maps took us past it got out of the car in the end and walked about then found it

Allocated parking was a bit confusing and a concern as it was tight in the area. Off street parking is outside hours of 9-6 unless you have a permit. Other parking is near. Needed to chase for the code to the property but then very quick apologetic reply .

The property was in a great location, felt very homely and was spacious. Plenty of room for the two of us and was a shame that we were only staying for the night as this would have been perfect to stay for a week! Everything was perfect, first time staying in an air b&b type property for both of us as we always usually use hotels but none of them appealed to us in Southend. There was a parking space across the road too which was easy to locate. And finally Dean was incredibly helpful and contacted us immediately when there was an issue with the pin on the door handle which wasn't an issue at all.

A concern. We were accompanied by an elderly relative, bath / shower was unsafe, no slip mat provided and difficult for them to get in and out with no grab handle in bath, which would have been helpful.

Location is excellent, practically seafront. Beds very comfortable and ideal for couples or family, the parking space is an absolute bonus, as is the little back garden. Dean and Becky are great hosts and always available and helpful

In my opinion there is nothing to dislike about this property

Comfortable and in a great location. Well equipped kitchen with everything you’d need. Great size for a family of four as you don’t feel on top of each other. Great little touches to keep the kids entertained for a bit. Extremely handy having a parking space and large car park a stone throw away.

Sofa in the front room could do with being replaced, along with the single mattress in the twin room as getting towards the end of there life. Parking was fantastic to have and made a huge difference but is extremely tight.

Minimal issues = A bit hard to find on the street , Google maps indicates the flat a bit further closer to the beach Communication with the owner was not very clear and I was receiving messages that were for other clients

Very good location in the heart of Southend. Communication was really good and all questions were answered promptly. The hosts were really helpful with local information and they also posted back our daughter’s glasses which she left behind.
