We loved the hotel itself - and especially Room 7 with its harbour views of St Ives. The only problem for me - as a disabled man - was the location of the parking, which is behind the hotel. However, the staff were excellent in helping us with our bags - and parking my electric scooter (in the foyer) for the night. A big mention simply must go to: James, Ben, Sarah and Antony. Top, top people 🙌

Room was very comfortable, view of Harbor was excellent. Breakfast was made to order and done well. Staff were friendly. Special praise goes to Sarah who went over and above to help this solo traveler by recommending specific places to complete a little local history.

Too many stairs to my liking, and no lift to help out. The “five minute walk” from the train station is up a steep incline. A person needs to be in tip-top physical condition to thoroughly enjoy the property and the surroundings. If not, however, it is still possible to get around by “strolling” rather than “walking” or “hiking” through the area.

This was a really great find! From the very first moment we arrived we were made to feel welcomed. The ethos, which is truly embedded through our is that every visitor is important. It’s achieved in a very relaxed and friendly way that makes you feel at home. The property is very clean and comfortable. We had the smallest room, but it was still very comfortable. If you’re not lucky enough to book to stay here but are still visiting St Ives, treat yourself to a meal in the restaurant - breakfast, lunch or dinner, absolutely delicious - and they serve the best coffee and pastries you’ve tasted!!!! Not to mention the Cider! Oh I forgot to mention the spectacular views from every window, very special stay!! As you can probably here I’ll definitely be back to stay 🫶🫶🫶 Thanks for looking after us both

EVERYTHING was absolutely EXCELLENT. The choice of breakfasts was amazing. Instead of being a rhetorical choice of English Breakfasts, which was on the menu, we decided to go for something different. I had the salmon and capers, oh wow, YUM. The chef is amazing. The evening before, I had the chicken ... oh, my WORD, it was absolutely divine. We wished we were staying there longer ❤️ The staff were amazing. Location was prime.Just absolutely EVERYTHING was excellent

I loved everything about the property and the location. It is well located within 7 minute walk from the rail station and also adjacent to the bus terminus - both of which were invaluable to me. I loved that I could walk down the hill to the very busy town in about 5 minutes to access great restaurants but was so happy to return back to the quietness of my retreat! From my room I looked over the water in two directions from my room - the Harbour and the bay. My room was decorated with a beautiful beach vibe, as shown in the photos. I loved heading down to breakfast each morning and enjoying looking over the Harbour as I worked out which delicious choice to enjoy. My only regret is that I wasn’t staying longer! If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, with readily accessible access to the great bus routes around Cornwall (I didn’t have a car so that was important) then this is the place to stay!

Room was small, but bed/ pillows soft and comfy. Room and bathroom comfortable, styled nicely and had everything we needed. Hangars, coat hooks and a little chair. Lovely harbour view particularly nice at night… Small TV with normal channels only but we weren’t there to watch tv so no bother. Kettle and cups, with little coffee sachets and clippers teas was a really nice touch. Breakfast, coffee and cocktails was outstanding - really sets it apart from other places. One complimentary drink each another nice touch. Easy access with key in & out whenever you please. Loads of steps fine for us but some people might struggle.

On the whole- nothing we didn’t like. Lots of seagull poop on windows and on your car if you park but it’s to be expected really..! Parking cost £6 per night to be paid on checking out.

Absolutely loved it!! Cutest place, super comfy, excellent service and delicious food!! Drinks and coffees are superb and the location is perfect. You walk a block one way and you’re at the beach, you walk a block the other way and you’re in the shopping streets. Stunning views!!!!

If you’re a light sleeper please note that the seagulls are right outside-they are lovely to watch but they are loud and you’re right on the harbor so lots of beautiful light streams in, it’s wonderful! But may be difficult for light sleepers.

The decor and comfortable beds. I liked that there was a fridge on the landing with fresh milk! We were given a free drink on arrival.

The room had Hessian curtains which completely failed to block any light from entering the room. For somebody who likes adult room to sleep in this is incredibly frustrating as the Sun will wake you up by 5 am! I really like the hotel but I just won’t be returning unless the curtains are replaced.

Bedroom was clean, nicely decorated, with the most spectacular view of St Ives Harbour. Breakfast was in the cafe downstairs, again with the harbour view. Delicious options from the menu and served by very friendly and attentive staff. It was great to have parking at the hotel.

We were on the top of two floors. The stairs were OK, but quite steep, and it felt a long climb, which combined with walking up the hill to the hotel could be quite a mission for some. The car park is quite tight, and behind and below the hotel, so another hill climb ;)

As soon as I walked into the Hotel it smelt and looked clean. Rooms are spacious and had all the required facilities including a hairdryer. No need to take any toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo or conditioner as had it all readily available. Coffee and tea was also available and you could help yourself to the selection they provided in the corridor. I made the mistake of assuming the car park was in the price, it wasnt, we had to pay £6 extra and even after our stay had finished, they allowed us time to go and do some shopping in town and leave the car at the hotel . We stayed in number 8 and had an all round view of the harbour and street, so pleasantly surprised. At breakfast you’re offered a number of various items, many of which are cooked and a choice of different coffees and tea.
