We loved the hotel itself - and especially Room 7 with its harbour views of St Ives. The only problem for me - as a disabled man - was the location of the parking, which is behind the hotel. However, the staff were excellent in helping us with our bags - and parking my electric scooter (in the foyer) for the night. A big mention simply must go to: James, Ben, Sarah and Antony. Top, top people 🙌

This was a really great find! From the very first moment we arrived we were made to feel welcomed. The ethos, which is truly embedded through our is that every visitor is important. It’s achieved in a very relaxed and friendly way that makes you feel at home. The property is very clean and comfortable. We had the smallest room, but it was still very comfortable. If you’re not lucky enough to book to stay here but are still visiting St Ives, treat yourself to a meal in the restaurant - breakfast, lunch or dinner, absolutely delicious - and they serve the best coffee and pastries you’ve tasted!!!! Not to mention the Cider! Oh I forgot to mention the spectacular views from every window, very special stay!! As you can probably here I’ll definitely be back to stay 🫶🫶🫶 Thanks for looking after us both

I only booked 2 nights and could have stayed longer!

I loved everything about the property and the location. It is well located within 7 minute walk from the rail station and also adjacent to the bus terminus - both of which were invaluable to me. I loved that I could walk down the hill to the very busy town in about 5 minutes to access great restaurants but was so happy to return back to the quietness of my retreat! From my room I looked over the water in two directions from my room - the Harbour and the bay. My room was decorated with a beautiful beach vibe, as shown in the photos. I loved heading down to breakfast each morning and enjoying looking over the Harbour as I worked out which delicious choice to enjoy. My only regret is that I wasn’t staying longer! If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, with readily accessible access to the great bus routes around Cornwall (I didn’t have a car so that was important) then this is the place to stay!

Room was small, but bed/ pillows soft and comfy. Room and bathroom comfortable, styled nicely and had everything we needed. Hangars, coat hooks and a little chair. Lovely harbour view particularly nice at night… Small TV with normal channels only but we weren’t there to watch tv so no bother. Kettle and cups, with little coffee sachets and clippers teas was a really nice touch. Breakfast, coffee and cocktails was outstanding - really sets it apart from other places. One complimentary drink each another nice touch. Easy access with key in & out whenever you please. Loads of steps fine for us but some people might struggle.

On the whole- nothing we didn’t like. Lots of seagull poop on windows and on your car if you park but it’s to be expected really..! Parking cost £6 per night to be paid on checking out.

Bedroom was clean, nicely decorated, with the most spectacular view of St Ives Harbour. Breakfast was in the cafe downstairs, again with the harbour view. Delicious options from the menu and served by very friendly and attentive staff. It was great to have parking at the hotel.

We were on the top of two floors. The stairs were OK, but quite steep, and it felt a long climb, which combined with walking up the hill to the hotel could be quite a mission for some. The car park is quite tight, and behind and below the hotel, so another hill climb ;)

As soon as I walked into the Hotel it smelt and looked clean. Rooms are spacious and had all the required facilities including a hairdryer. No need to take any toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo or conditioner as had it all readily available. Coffee and tea was also available and you could help yourself to the selection they provided in the corridor. I made the mistake of assuming the car park was in the price, it wasnt, we had to pay £6 extra and even after our stay had finished, they allowed us time to go and do some shopping in town and leave the car at the hotel . We stayed in number 8 and had an all round view of the harbour and street, so pleasantly surprised. At breakfast you’re offered a number of various items, many of which are cooked and a choice of different coffees and tea.

The team were super friendly and helpful. We travelled down by train and arrived early to drop our bags off whilst we went to explore, as our room was already ready for us they allowed us to check in early, which was great! The room was exceptionally clean, we loved the decor and of course the view was sensational. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with lovely fresh local produce and the coffee was great. We were catching a later train and they very kindly let us leave our bags there so that we didn’t need to carry them around with us. We would 100% stay again.

Location was good. Breakfast was tasty, different and exceeded expectations Room view of the harbour was lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly. Walk along the South West Coast Path to Lelant heading away from Lands End direction was lovely, beautiful beaches. Good bus service between Lelant and St Ives. Can recommend as a good value place to stay.

Last minute booking and reception is not always manned, due to these factors we needed to wait at a nearby venue to access the property for around 45 minutes, but it was worth the wait.

The location is just perfect, a short walk into st Ives town. Everything was clean and the room had a lovely view of the bay. The hosts made us feel very welcome and it was a lovely surprise to find a bottle of wine in our room in celebration of our recent wedding as this was arranged as an extended mini honey moon to celebrate being newly married. This hotel was made special by its little touches, two cards for complimentary drinks in there chilled out cafe / bar area, amazing breakfast choice included , stunning views and the bottle of wine made it feel really special. The incuddd parking was a huge help! Bed was super comfy we both slept so well. I would highly recommend you try stay here if you are seeking a special and lovely break in st Ives.

The only negative is the parking was a little confusing but the fact that we had parking included was a fantastic addition! And is another reason this property is far better than many other properties in st Ives.

Whoever conceived and decorated this hotel had exquisite taste. The bedroom and restaurant were lovely spaces to be in, and to look out of at the incredible view. Breakfast gets a special mention. It is far superior to a buffet: you just get given a comprehensive a la carte menu and order whatever you want. As for the staff: what a team the management has assembled!

The low point of my holiday was having to drag myself away from the chair by my bedroom window that looked over the the town and harbour, and go downstairs and check out.
