The treats for our dog - a lovely touch. The seaview from the bedroom window. The comfy bed and nice powerful shower. The spacious bathroom. The chairs for sitting on in front of the window. The hosts' flexibility in letting us have a later check out - really really appreciated as travelling with a dog and 2 big suitcases. The location - so lovely to walk down to the beach and swim before breakfast, also being so close to the harbour.
A little more space for those big suitcases, but that's our issue!!! There was more than enough room, we just had a lot of extra stuff with us as had been walking for 10 days prior to this.

This accommodation was such a good find! We chose the large double and wasn’t disappointed; great roof top views of the sea, large, clean and well appointed room and the parking (not included in the price) was very close. Only 5 minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach and about 7 minutes to the harbour. So long as you can handle the steep walk to and from the beach you’ll love this place. I would definitely return.
The walk back was a killer at the end of the day but still manageable for now.

I booked on Sunday 5th May very spontaneously to stay for 1 night, staying on Monday 6th May 24 with my partner. I’d looked at other Hotels, and B & B’s in St Ives to book but the reviews were the best here so thought I’d book it, the room also has sea views which are stunning. It was a little more expensive than other places in St Ives and what I originally wanted to pay but it was SO WORTH IT. I have NOTHING NEGATIVE to say at all. Book-in was after 3, when I arrived about 2 I called to see if I could drop my bags off first. I spoke to Tricia and she was lovely, friendly, professional and very accommodating. I stayed in room 5 which is in the loft. The stairs are extremely steep so be careful, especially if you’ve had any Cornish cider! I was very impressed with the room, it had everything I would expect and need from a room including; plenty of space, plenty of hangers and a area to hang clothes, a shoe tray, a hairdryer, a set of drawers, tea and coffee facilities, plenty of plug sockets, lamps on both bedside tables, a table and two chairs, two big windows front and back, the most amazing bathroom, small and compact with everything you need. The room was SPOTLESS. We met Tricia on my way out and she was a lovely lady who obviously loves what she does and takes pride in it. I would definitely recommend staying here. When speaking to Tricia I asked why she didn’t provide any breakfast and she explained after Covid lots of places stopped, I explained I would have like a option even if it was just a breakfast box at the door, or a bacon/sausage butty. Beautiful place, great location, and totally worth the money. Will recommended to all my family and friends. I’ll definitely be back. .
Would have liked a breakfast option but definitely not enough of a reason to not stay again.

Great location about 10min walk to the beach and the town centre. It's also on the top of a hill so you have the whole view of the sea round the corner within a minute. Our room is spacious enough, the owner was quick with their communication and was also able to provide us with a mini cooler. Overall we had a very pleasant stay!
A bit confused with the locks of the door both for the front door and the door of our room. In our view they need to be updated for a better and safer mechanism.

This was a great stay in a great location. We stayed on the top floor and had a great view of the town and surrounding beaches. We came with our pup and were met with treats, bowls, and a guide to dog-friendly things to do in Cornwall. There's a grass park right across the street which made it easy to take him on walks. It was only a 10 minute walk into the main part of town, and we loved the stay itself.
While it wasn't an issue for us, staying on the top floor could be challenging for some with steep stairs.

It was clean and cozy. Close to everything. Perfect location for people traveling with pets as there was a dog park right across the hotel. I appreciated the little goodie bag that was given to our pet. It was very sweet :)
There was an additional fee for parking and pets - The fee itself was not an issue, however we needed to pay by cash, (which we didn't have the correct amount of at the time). Paying the extra fee via credit card and/or a heads up for the exact cash amount needed would have been helpful.

Staying in room 6 was a lovely experience, great views of the ocean, you can also hear the waves when is quiet which makes sleeping and waking up like a therapy. Brushing your teeth in the morning gives you a nice view again, if you are around 1.80m. Communication with the hosts was great, quick to reply and help.
A mini fridge in the room would be a great addition.

The comfy bed and the table in the window. The milky sunset one evening from the sea view from the window. The shower.. Lots of information. Book/ magazine/ swap over the road! Cornish Deli suggestion ..Max was very welcoming.
4 steps down to bathroom. Not much surface space to put things. No breakfast!! (We needed to be off earlier than the suggested eating places opened in order to complete Coast Path walks)

Location was perfect five minutes walk to the beach. Room and bathroom extremely clean an and tidy. Rooms five and six admittedly up two flights of stairs which we were prewarned about, but the views are amazing. Only small minor criticism is the bathroom does not have a cupboard or shelf to put toiletries on but you can easily get around it. Would definitely stay there again. Parking which needs to be pre-booked at £5 per day was excellent, at the back of the property as parking in st Ives can be tricky. We were prewarned that our rooms had low ceilings which was really helpful.
Minor small detail a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries.

Spacious room number 4 with sea view and large comfortable bed. Clean and tastefully decorated. Host put in a mini fridge with cold water for our arrival as it was hot when we visited. Nice and quiet during our stay. We would definitely come back.
A little steep walk back from town centre, but that is St.Ives!
