We live ked everything, it was a beautiful property and the room was gorgeous. It was very clean. We didn’t have a cooked breakfast however the breakfast laid on the table was enough for us. It was perfectly fresh and they had my milk. The breakfast looked great. The train down into St. ives cost us a pound each way. It was delightful.

As someone with a disability I found the shower very dangerous for me. It didn’t have any grooves in the base which made it a fall hazard. I did let them know ahead of time and were put on the first floor, I was very grateful. If you have a disability I’d think twice as it was wet and I nearly went over on the decking but I’m used to having to hold on for dear life lol It hasn’t put me off going back, these are just things for the walking disabled to think about. We had a wonderful time!

Lovely hosts who are really welcoming and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere with great selection for breakfast, which was really nice. We had the garden room, which was fantastic. Had a garden all to ourselves, with banana trees ! Trian station is a short walk down the hill, so easy access into St Ives or use buses. Cabis beach is also down the hill, approx 8min walk. Thankyou, Fenella and Mark , for a lovely stay. We hope to see you in May 🤞 and enjoy your holidays, keep chasing that Sun.

Very hospitable hosts who warmly greeted us and gave us a very good advice on places e.g. cafes/restaurants (it was our first time in Cornwall). The room was very clean and beautiful, excellent interior details are chosen with taste and love. Every day we were served delicious desserts in our room. The breakfasts were also excellent. Delicious homemade juices, pastries, English breakfast, toast, natural yoghurts - everything was great! The beautiful scenic beach is just a few minutes away from the location. This place made our holiday great, regardless of the weather. We'll definitely be back! Thank you

Everything! When we arrived we were greeted by Mark with a glass of Prosecco for each of us, and gave us excellent advice about the area and transport. Fenella and Mark made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the Breakfasts were tasty and generous portions with plenty of choice. We will hopefully return for another stay sometime.

The wardrobe in our room was very noisy to open and close and the door to the bathroom banged against the shower when it was opened , it had a mind of its own! also the coat hook on the back of the bathroom door was missing but that’s just being picky as couldn’t fault anything else.

Stunning location with ocean view. Marvelous rooms with great interior design and very individual. Mark and Fenela are great hosts and have made our three days unforgettable. The breakfast offers lots of great choices and Fenela is a legend running the house( right? :-) ). Mark we enjoyed all the nice conversations we have had. Very personal experience and we hope to visit you again.

beautiful adults only hotel, excellent breakfast, bedroom had everything we needed if a bit small and would have liked a view, owners lovely and very informative, lots of nice touches ie fizz on arrival and cake in the room

would have preferred a shower instead of the slow water pressure bath! and bed was a bit hot with the 'plastic mattress protector

Price performance ratio is ok, prices seem to be generally high in this beautiful region

Everything was great, every single detail, the whole B&B is beautifully decorated, and great effort and thought are present everywhere. The breakfast lovely with great quality. Make sure you follow all the suggestions from the owners about trips nearby, areas to visit and restaurants. We followed them 100% and they were all worth it.

We had the best stay at Headland House! And would highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a relaxing, friendly, comfortable, luxurious stay in Carbis Bay / St Ives then look no more! Our room was spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated. The breakfast room and outside seating area have stunning views of the sea and were calming and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the little train that takes you to St Ives (in 3 mins). It was nice to come away from the busyness of St Ives and relax in Carbis Bay. Our hosts, Mark and Fenella, were so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious. I am vegan and I was provided with a different vegan breakfast option every morning - real thought and care went into ensuring I had delicious food! We will definitely be back 😊

We stayed in a couple of rooms during our long weekend visit. Room 3 is the best designed and most spacious room, try to request it in advance and you won't regret it. Room 2 is also beautiful with 2 large sea view windows. The main breakfast dishes are ordered the night before and they are served alongside a standard breakfast buffet. There is also an honest bar full of drinks and a small sitting area. The area feels super safe and there is an easy parking within the premises- please note it is only free when you book directly through the B&B website. The hosts Fenella and Mark are the nicest we met in a long while; they will go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is memorable - both also offered us the best local places to visit in terms of interest and food. Although St. Ives is about 3km away, there is a great train service with an easy excess from the house that takes you to town within a few minutes. Alternatively you can also walk to St Ives directly from the house via a memorable path with breathtaking views of the sea.

We wish we could stay longer... fresh vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers for breakfast could've been nice.
