Host St Ives was the ideal base for exploring this stunning part of Cornwall. Rassie is an exceptional host—helpful, genuinely friendly, and full of great local tips. His warm South African accent alone could brighten your day, and honestly, I’d happily grab a pint with him anytime. He even inspired us to go for a sunrise swim in the sea—an unforgettable experience! The accommodation itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful details in every corner. The interior is stylish, the lighting can be adjusted with different ambient scenes, and even the shower gel smells like gorse—the iconic yellow flowers you see everywhere around here. As tempting as it is to just relax in the room, be sure to get out and explore. There’s so much to do in and around St Ives: hike to Zennor or even Gurnard’s Head, take a boat trip, visit beaches, explore the chapel, discover great restaurants, check out 3 Mile Beach, or catch a film in the small cinema just around the corner. Highly recommended—we’ll be back!

Stylish, excellently well planned out, lots of little personal or quirky touches - the perfect anniversary getaway! Utterly luxurious 🤍 The room itself was super spacious; the comfortable sitting area had a generous chaise sofa, fireplace with working fire and TV. This space had views of the quaint streets and, despite being on the ‘main’ road (by St Ives standards) it was perfectly quiet. The kitchenette was well equipped with teas/coffees, etc… as well as some complimentary beer. The bed area was sumptuous, with squashy pillows and faux fur throws. The giant bath tub was a great place to read and gaze at the skies! A walk in shower in the bathroom was perfect for after a sea swim. Downstairs was a lovely looking restaurant- which we didn’t get to sample as it was closed on the days we were there. The rooms were soundproofed - and as the building is an old bank, the walls and floors were super thick. Razzie, the host, was attentive and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a romantic stay.

Nothing I didn’t like, but if you have mobility issues it might not be appropriate. The roads are quite tight, with limited - to zero - parking right outside the property. We did a quick bag drop off and then drove to the complimentary secure parking (about a 5 minute walk). There is a flight of stairs up to the rooms, with no lift.

The space was wonderful. The suites are very similar with the terrace suite having a bathtub in the room (rather than in a private bathroom space) and of course the addition of the terrace. The coffee/tea bar was very helpful and the milk with it was very generous and needed. Thank you. They brought us a lovely continental breakfast was healthy and nutritious. We particularly liked the fruit cups, the non-sugared yogurt, the flax seed granola, and the juices. The room was very clean and the location was unbeatable for a short stay in St. Ives. The AC worked beautifully and kept us cool and allowed us to close the windows to street noise. It was beautiful.

The communication at the start was a tiny bit heavy and much had to do with parking which we did not need. We were surprised the first day by the breakfast. The reservation said it was included, but when we were up in the morning the restaurant was closed, so we went out for breakfast. When we came back, a breakfast cart was outside our door but we were still unclear when the breakfast was going to be delivered the following day.

The design of the room is absolutely on point! The room has wonderful details. The bed is amazing…so comfortable! The location is great and was a plus that the restaurant was opened our first night there, our meal and wine selection was very good. Was a bit disappointing to not try more on the menu! The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a parking lot not far away, very convenient.

Not much to say- we travelled off season so I know that if it was busier we would have had the breakfast delivered to our door. One thing would be to have a bit more storage for clothing, and a little storage in the bathroom.

the room was absolutely amazing. and looked just like the photos. also cannot fault the staff and welcome. so accommodating esp. when I had a random food aversion over breakfast. any issues they were ready to resolve. it is a great location to walk to most places.

parking was a little walk away if you have a few bags. but manageable. there was also coverage and WiFi issues but this was a great opportunity to also switch off, so maybe positive as well :)

The suite itself is exceptionally presented with a very high end finish to all areas. A lot of thought has gone into the interior design.

Feather pillows. Dreadful difficulty with breathlessness as feather pillows were everywhere.. Breakfast was a disappointment. No choice, you got what you were given. To risky to eat given my allergies. Given the price point of the property and the fact they have a fully functional kitchen in the restaurant downstairs breakfast was a huge disappointment.

Very large room, exceptionally fitted out, very private, lovely balcony to sit out on. Right in the heart of St Ives loads of walks, shops and restaurant's around, Fantastic restaurant below, lovely food and drinks, Staff were all amazing. Private underground garage for your car so no worry with parking, its just a small walk away from room, with plenty of room for big cars. The Host Of the Host made us feel so welcome couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

Stunning and tasteful decor. Lots of extras such as coffee maker and fridge. Parking is a real premium in St Ives. The room came with access to a nearby underground carpark that was easy and convenient to use. The location of the hotel is very central and near all the beaches. The (two) hotel suites are above a busy bar which featured live music during our stay, but this did not detract in any way. The bathroom features an excellent walk-in shower. The roll top bath looked good but sadly required more agility to get in/out than I now possess. Breakfast was a combination of fresh fruit with yoghurt and granola plus a selection of morning pastries; all nicely presented and left outside our room each morning. We had a private balcony which was an ideal setting in which to enjoy breakfast. Access to the rooms is via stairs (no lift).

The room is huge and comfortable. Staff is exceptional. The restaurant is incredible, one of the favorite from the trip. Would love to return!

We stayed in February and the room was 14 C whenever we came back. In-room heating warmed it up to 16.5 C, so it was fine to sleep but we had to put layers of clothing to chill on the couch haha
