Breakfast was excellent with a large choice both on the continental and the cooked food was well presented and tasted great. We also ate a meal in the bar and again this was really good and tasty. Every member of staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Hotel really clean and well maintained, our room big and comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The outside garden area is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink. Overall a really great experience staying here and I would recommend this hotel to others as a great choice.
A little bit picky I know but some of the small wooden chairs in the breakfast room were rickety and I found them uncomfortable to sit on for breakfast. I found the booth edge seating much more comfortable. This hotel has a wonderful outside garden area but again some of the chunky wooden furniture could do with some cushions to sit on. Small issues that didn’t really impact on a wonderful stay at this hotel.

The room was beautiful! Tastefully furnished in period style, with all the necessary modern amenities, including a good quality coffee machine. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with an interesting history and has been extensively upgraded inside. All staff were friendly and informative. We loved the snug bar ( which must be amazing in winter with the log fire!) Location was excellent too - close to everything.
Only niggle was the breakfast. We had this included in our stay, but a cooked option was extra. 20 pounds for half a bagel with salmon and cheese! Really?!.. The full English option was the same price (small portion though). I feel that the cooked options should be individually priced to reflect the amount of food offered (and better value!)

My wife and I adore this hotel. This is not our first visit. In fact, we took a detour just to stay here. Just a few of the things we love: the ambience, the scented halls, the rooms, the beautiful gardens, the amazing breakfasts, the sitting rooms, the amazing waitress in the Woodsmen restaurant who went above and beyond, the fitness room - excellent space, the rainfall shower in the room, the air-conditioning unit provided in the room made for an incredible night's sleep as well as the very comfortable bed, and how they think of everything you need in the room for your stay.
The smashed avocado was a bit too limey tart. But the rest of the breakfast was simply delightful.

Clean, bright, friendly staff, lovely air conditioning, really lovely wheelchair accessible room
The breakfast is very expensive for what you get, as much as there is plenty of choice we found they were slow to replenish items. The bar closed at 9.30pm which for us was too early and at that time we were asked to leave the garden bar even though we hadn’t finished our drinks, understandable that they didn’t want surrounding rooms guests to be disturbed but as 4 adults having a civilised quiet drink we weren’t overly pleased as we were on a night away we weren’t ready to part ways and go to our seperate rooms so early

Everything! This is one of the best UK hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! From the moment we booked to the minute we left the staff were fantastic. Professional, friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is perfectly situated and the parking was great. The attention to detail in the hotel was superb. The ambience, the gardens, and the food were all fabulous. The thought given to a guest's stay and comfort was outstanding. They'd even thought to put a 'night light' in the bathroom so as not to disturb you too much when you wake in the night. The mini bar was free and had a great choice. There was a wide choice of teas and coffees. Cleanliness was the best we've seen...superb. We were honestly hugely hugely impressed. Having run a boutique hotel ourselves, we can be ultra picky! The management are doing an outstanding job with this hotel!
If we have to be ultra ultra picky. It would have been nice to have more room in the bathroom to put your belongings and towels. The soaps on the sink shelf take up so much room. The pillows had little substance and weren't great. As we say, that's being ultra ultra picky.

Indigo hotel is a lovely hotel in the centre of Stratford and therefore all the attractions are within reasonable walking distance. The location of the hotel is near the old town which is a nice area surrounded by Tudor and Georgian properties. The hotel provides lots of seating areas for quite time including the garden which has some mature herbal bushes, it also has many old and new features which add to the character of the hotel. We had a lovely spacious bedroom with full bathroom and a roll top bath. The breakfast menu was good but limited, given the cost. Perhaps, more options such as, porridge, kippers and more variety of fresh fruit. We had a memorable time in Stratford and would recommend the hotel to anyone else wishing to stay in the area.
Nothing really, although we did think the breakfast was slightly expensive.

Wow. We just loved this special hotel. What lovely service, such a friendly checkin and helpful hospitality, even coordinating an interconnecting room for us just to be helpful. The rooms were lovely. Beautifully decorated, beds comfy and quiet rooms. We loved our rooms so much we ordered breakfast in bed - eggs Royale which were delicious! So beautiful from the outside too. Car park was accessible and location just 100% perfect. Best hotel of our UK tour so far. Highly recommended. We ate at the Boathouse for dinner which I also recommend. Lovely waterside eatery.

Perfect location and very welcoming staff with clean and relaxing atmosphere and environment and a bonus on having parking facilities.
Could have done with better coffee machine in the room or clear instructions on how to use it... had to search for instructions on YouTube, and even then, it didn't work great. Also, it would have been nice to have had 2 of each of the ite.s in the room, such as 2 packs of popcorn, 2 hot chocolates, seen as though there were 2 of us. Finally, the lighting was very temperamental as had to mess about with the 'many' switches and dimmers to operate them successfully.

Very delicious breakfast, everything you want. The evening meal was also excellent. The silent air conditioning was an absolute boon as it was high twenties, it was very easy to control. The gardens were an oasis in the middle of town with pretty lights at night. Staff were very friendly and efficient. It was good to have the lidft as my son has Motor Neuron Disease and I didn't realise quite how disabled he was becoming.
I should have asked for a disabled room but that was my fault. Didn't much like the £15 parking fee even for disabled.

On arrival I rang ahead and spoke to a very polite lady who told us where we could park. We arrived in reception and was met by a very friendly member of staff, I want to say her name was Millie but i can't be sure. She was brilliant and got us to our room explaining the history on the way. She told us about the room and asked if we need anything else before she left us. The room was outstanding, clean, well decorated and had a good stock in the fridge that were complimentary. We had a fantastic time walking around and staff were always smiling and making you feel welcome. The breakfast was beautiful the next day and we were very well looked after. On departure we were told we could keep the car in the carpark whilst we did our mystery guide. It was a fantastic stay and we got to de-stress before my husband has his big operation to remove his brain tumour.
