Really modern and lovely rooms with professional staff.
The parking is an issue. Too expensive and it's £12.50 for 24 hours meaning I spent £25 for a 2 night stay. The staff didn't know that the price advertised on the website was different to the price on the app. The secondary parking area was not mentioned until I prompted them and when I tried the code it wouldn't work. The only reason I chose this hotel was the price and when you are in the parking charge I could've stayed elsewhere. The location is awful, it's like a scene from downtown LA or zombie apocalypse when you walk towards the centre, drug taking, gangs hanging about and obvious crack heads on each corner. On top of that there is an obvious sewer issue in that area that can't be mistaken.

It was my first time ever travelling alone, so I was really nervous. But for no reason really! The people of the hotel were so nice and so helpful, I never had any reason to be nervous. I once forgot my card in my room, so I had to ask for another one and even then it was no problem, it was solved within 2 minutes. Thanks Alfie for your patience! Since I don't drink breakfast tea I had to ask for extra tea, no problem at all!
My first room had a broken window and I had to switch to a new room. But that wasn't really a problem thanks to the really nice staff members who solved everything within minutes. And the lift was broken once, but that problem was solved the next day.

A great stay with knowing good quality facilities, room size and comfortable bed. The rooms can vary in size and with some furnishings, but this one had a lovely comfortable sofa and really nice shower. As usual we always look forward to the self serving hot food breakfast that accommodates vegan/vegetarian options. Again, the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately, we had an issue with the sound of the TV, and the hair dryer did not work. But, having stayed at this hotel many times, overall, it is a very worthwhile stay, as most of the time, all the electrical appliances do work and we enjoy our stay.

Excellent price. Staff very helpful. Vegan ice-cream on the bar menu. Gluten free bread, sausage and soya milk available at breakfast. Fresh hash brown provided to ensure no cross-contamination on buffet. As a coeliac, this was a huge relief.
Limited on-site parking. No face cloths avaliable (as advertised in the room) No gluten-free dinner options - staff member checked the one item on the menu that was marked GF and told me it actually wasn't GF. Breakfast buffet limited (ran out of eggs, tomatoes & hash browns on the breakfast buffet). Gluten free sausage (was possibly also vegetarian) was overcooked, nasty and dry.

The property is just a walking distance to all the places that we want to go. I chose it because after researching for the nearest place to the event that me and my husband needs to attend, this hotel is the nearest.
It is convenient, family friendly and you feel safe. Just not happy with the cleanliness of the room. Too dusty. The shower drainage, shower head needs a totally deep cleaning so is the sink tap. As a former housekeeping supervisor, those are the things that i am looking the first thing. Otherwise, our stay is very nice. Can i just recomment that cutleries needs to be somehow polish as i need fo deep it to a hot water in order for me to comfortably use it. The plates in the buffet where the tongs and service spoon are jave all chips on it. Replacing it ASAP.

I STAYED FOR FOUR NIGHTS. I JUST BOOKED THE FIRST NIGHT AT A RATE, SO I DECIDED TO STAY 3 MORE NIGHTS. EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN THE SAME HOTEL, IN THE SAME ROOM, I HAD TO PAY £10 (£30 FOR THE 3 DAYS) EXTRA WHICH SEEMED A BIT OF A SWIZZ. HOWEVER, THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESS, THE FACILITIES WERE GOOD AND ATE THE BEST HOTEL BREAKFAST I'VE EVER HAD. SAUSAGE, BACON, TOMATO, EGGS, HASH BROWNS, BAKED BEANS, CEREALS, FRUIT, YOUGURT, CROISSANTS, BREADS, BUTTER (NOT MARGERINE) MUFFINS, TEAS, COFFEES, JUICES THE LIST GOES ON.
THERE WAS OLY ONE LIFT FOR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE AND IT WAS QUICKER TO TAKE THE STAIRS TO THE SIXTH FLOOR THAN TO WAIT FOR THE DREARY LIFT.

All cleaned and looked amazing. Good smell everywhere. Very quiet place, it's good for rest. In city centre, that's great and useful.
Poor quality of lighting inside the room, the air conditioner don't work on hot and was full of dusty from inside, when we put on. It is regrettable that the hotel does not have any entertainment area, such as a snooker table, or darts or even a shelf with books or magazines. This is for those who are staying longer days, to have something to entertain themselves with, because it is boring to be in a hotel where there is no activity.

The hotel went above and beyond to help me after myself trying to change the booking several times. Due to different circumstances. However It was lovely and clean and spacious. The room I initially was given was a double room, but I asked them if they could give me a twin room. For myself and my son. They met this with no fuss and simply swapped the rooms for me. The bedroom was lovely and had all the facilities needed for a one night stay. The air conditioning and heating was easy to use as both myself and my son were cold and then warm, during the night. But overall everything was lovely. The beds were also comfy, and I had a good nights sleep that was complimented by a cooked breakfast plus continental options of fruit, cereal, and pastries. Along with tea, coffee, and fruit juice to drink.
There was nothing at fault with this hotel.

The staff at this hotel go out of their way to help and are so friendly. The hotel and bedroom was very clean and the main bed very comfortable. We had an amazing view from our room, although the window is a little too high to really enjoy it. Delicious and generous breakfast. Lots of options to enjoy. The hotel has parking on site.
We drove into the parking and there was no sign to explain we needed to pay inside for 24hr parking. The sofa bed for the kids was very worn with the springs felt through the mattress. Our small kids didn't notice, but I think an older teen would.

I like that the breakfast is included in my stay. There are a variety of selection - from English breakfast and croissants to cereals. The coffee machine also brewed fresh beans every selection. The location is also another win for this hotel. It's right into the town center/high street. It's only walking distance to the markets, train station, and bus station.
The room I was occupying did have a standing shower only and not a bath tub. I know I should have asked if I can get one but apart from that my experience was great.
