Really modern and lovely rooms with professional staff.
The parking is an issue. Too expensive and it's £12.50 for 24 hours meaning I spent £25 for a 2 night stay. The staff didn't know that the price advertised on the website was different to the price on the app. The secondary parking area was not mentioned until I prompted them and when I tried the code it wouldn't work. The only reason I chose this hotel was the price and when you are in the parking charge I could've stayed elsewhere. The location is awful, it's like a scene from downtown LA or zombie apocalypse when you walk towards the centre, drug taking, gangs hanging about and obvious crack heads on each corner. On top of that there is an obvious sewer issue in that area that can't be mistaken.

Absolutely loved the location and the room itself! So beautifully organised in the room. Staff were super super friendly and easy to talk to :)
I dont want this to put the whole stay down, however Sunday morning breakfast was like a bombsite......I honestly felt super bad for the staff members working this shift because I think there was 3 of them tackling it, but there was coffee machines not working, then massive amounts of water coming from the juice machine so I slipped up on it, but it was very unorganised, had to try and find a table which didn't have any dirty plates on etc.....it was just a big let down because I dont blame the people on shift at all but they needed more hands on deck. The only other thing is we stayed in 511 and the bathroom light was flashing like crazy every single time we used it and the light on the headboard at the top didn't work

There was a good bowl of berry mix to use with cereal. Also bananas and apples were available. The hot food was also very good.
It would have been good to have alternative milks with no sugar added. The only alternative milk was soya and, looking at the ingredients, I saw that sugar had been added. This is not necessary and I found that a friend of mine who runs a cafe didn't even know the alternative milks he bought had sugar added. Please read the list of ingredients when you buy stuff and avoid added sugar as it adds nothing to the taste and is a health problem.

The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. I was very impressed by the design of the room- well equipped, modern decor and some clever design ideas like the angled mirror with storage behind and the excellent bedhead lamps which fold away- brilliant. The bed was very comfy and the shower room well equipped. Breakfast was buffet type with a reasonable range of hot and cold food. The dining room was a very pleasant light filled area, imaginatively designed and restful. There was a small bar with a limited but adequate range of drinks.
The "restaurant" was a limited choice pre-prepared system. Since there was not a huge choice of eateries locally, there is potential here to establish a proper restaurant as the dining room is a very pleasant place. I did have a bit of a problem with the lift initially but learned how to use it after practice!

Staff were pleasant, helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. I appreciated the ironing board and iron in the room, very useful. The bar/dining area was comfortable and spacious.
The vegan options both on the general menu and at breakfast were not so good. At breakfast the staff were unable to guarantee any lactose free bread. However, there was plant milk and plant spread available, and a couple of options from the hot dishes (hash browns, vegan sausages, baked beans). Bring your own bread if you like your toast in the morning 😃 another time I will ask for a small jug of plant milk for my tea/coffee in my room.

Very convenient location, close to railway station. Good for a solo woman traveller. Good sized rooms.Friendly staff. Breakfast is good, but a bit chaotic on the Sunday morning in July. The hotel does warn you about this via wall posters and it's true. There were no cups or cutlery left at 9 30, coffee machines needed reloading etc. Staff did what they could to keep restocking, but it was not the most relaxing of breakfasts.
The lift is very wobbly and makes worrying cranking noises. You feel lucky to make it safely to the 5th floor. It's in need of an overhaul.

It was my first time ever travelling alone, so I was really nervous. But for no reason really! The people of the hotel were so nice and so helpful, I never had any reason to be nervous. I once forgot my card in my room, so I had to ask for another one and even then it was no problem, it was solved within 2 minutes. Thanks Alfie for your patience! Since I don't drink breakfast tea I had to ask for extra tea, no problem at all!
My first room had a broken window and I had to switch to a new room. But that wasn't really a problem thanks to the really nice staff members who solved everything within minutes. And the lift was broken once, but that problem was solved the next day.

Great location near to Swindon Railway Station. Caught the train into London for an event then returned in the evening. Hotel was excellent for this. They stored our luggage for the day as our room wasn't available for early check in. Early check in if available would have cost GBP25 Bed comfortable and room clean and convenient. Breakfast was buffet style with hot options, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes. Simple but provided all we needed. There are a few local restaurants within short walking distance for dinner. We went to Da Vinci, an Italian a couple of minutes away which was a good option. Overall hotel suited our needs very well.
Car park under hotel a bit confusing but sorted fairly quickly. Only one lift in operation which was also slow. A second lift was under repair

Good sized rooms, very clean, overnight staff upon check in were lovely and very helpful. Free breakfast in the morning
Parking wasn’t ideal - advertised as small parking garage underneath hotel which in reality only held about 8 cars & with it being a one way in / one way out meant reversing out onto main road which would of been hard in the day time - luckily we didn’t arrive until 3am so was no traffic to compete with. (But in hindsight - would have gone straight to the other car park) Other parking lot was about a 2 minute walk away so not awful but not ideal if checking in with loads of luggage & pay online ( code from reception if you check in early enough) One lift is currently out of order & the other makes horrendous noise so we opted for the stairs 🥲

A great stay with knowing good quality facilities, room size and comfortable bed. The rooms can vary in size and with some furnishings, but this one had a lovely comfortable sofa and really nice shower. As usual we always look forward to the self serving hot food breakfast that accommodates vegan/vegetarian options. Again, the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately, we had an issue with the sound of the TV, and the hair dryer did not work. But, having stayed at this hotel many times, overall, it is a very worthwhile stay, as most of the time, all the electrical appliances do work and we enjoy our stay.
