I have stayed at this Welcome Break before and so I knew what to expect. The staff here are lovely, nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are clean, staff are welcoming and friendly. I would like to give a special mention to a member of the Reception Team called Peter who went above and beyond sorting out an issue on the second day of my stay when the M40 slip road was closed on both sides meaning I could not get back tot he hotel that evening. It was very late, I also needed medication which was in my room and I was very concerned. Peter was not completely familiar with the local area but went and found someone who was and called me back to give directions. He was calm, friendly and polite and ensured I got back to the hotel safely - excellent customer service, thank you Peter

The only thing I would mention is that the shower trays in the rooms have obviously had some non stick coating on them in the past, but this is now patchy and worn - aesthetically it looks bad, it would also probably cost a lot to replace them all, but it does not give a good impression

The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, especially lovely with our little 4 year old. The room was comfortable and a good size with safety locks on the windows but enough room to open for air. The hotel was at a nice service station with plenty of food options and nice shops. It was quiet with free parking, you just had to enter your registration into the iPad at the desk. Breakfast was at the service station at the counter like a fast food restaurant so you can take it off to eat wherever you want and it was nice and tasty. The evening while sitting outside on the grass next to the car park gave us a little experience with a fox that actually very gently took food from our hands! Our boy was over the moon by this, we felt honoured to have had this experience.

The only thing worth mentioning is that our family room didn't have an Aircon system, we had a massive floor fan which was great and very strong but a little too noisy for us to keep on at night, we did have to leave it on as it was extremely hot weather when we stayed but it did interrupt our sleep. It could do with new net curtains as it looked like they were ready to fall to bits it had a small rip in them too. This didn't take anything away for the lovely stay here.

Its very convenient, being in a motorway services, friendly reception, large room and at a highly competitive price. T&C facilities, good shower, nice large towels...I will book again when need arises.

Downside was my visit coincided with a couple of very hot days, there is no A/C in the rooms so was quite hot in the room, as my room was upstairs and front I was overlooking the electric charger bays and in the middle distance the roar of the road. I do know that being in a back room my experience would have been absolutely fine as a window open would not have allowed road noise in.

Welcoming staff, nice clean room, very spacious, enough beds for four people, tea and coffee facilities, main bed very comfy. Snacks and drinks available in foyer. If you need something more substantial there are various hot fast-food outlets and sandwich shops in the main services building. Tried the Chinese food offering which proved very tasty!

Bit of road noise but only to be expected in a front row room on a motorway services. I would expect rooms at the back of hotel to be quieter so if you are a light sleeper request one of those.

Excellent clean room which is the norm with Days Inns. Have staying in many around the country.

Having to pay £5 a night to park here! This has only started this year, and I am not sure if I will stay with Days Inn if this continues again. As the room is prebooked it would be nice to come into a room which has the heating put on. Being cold at night outside, I had to wear my coat until the place had warmed up

We had never stayed at a Days Inn before and we were very pleasantly surprised, the staff were always welcoming come day or night, our room was clean and comfortable and there was no noise from being at a motorway service station. Accessible parking was always available, the gardens were kept neat and tidy and there was no litter. Carlos the room attendant was always bright and cheery and made sure we had everything we needed.

The lady on reception was delightful and very helpful .It is obviously a budget hotel and therefore provided everything we had expected without the trimmings.I had misunderstood the location which was my own error but it did result in a very long way roundback up the M40 to get to where we needed to be.

Itwas as expected for the price we paid. The room was clean although basic and tea and coffee was provided.

Very friendly receptionist. You should take care of her as she is the face of your business. Quiet room. Walk in shower

Not your fault but could only get fast food from the motorway services in the evening. Its quality was poor and it was expensive. If motorway "restaurants" spent less on advertising and more on food quality they would do more business and make more margin and goodwill. All otherwise OK

We stayed 3 nites as visiting family in area .As it’s in the services I thought it would be noisy but no .3 good nites sleep .Bed was oh so comfy and lovely soft bath sheets.Tea coffee in room ,hairdryer .Good shower good pressure .Room large .An electric wall heater room super cozy.We stayed Southbound but next time we would stay north as it’s easy for us to access the relatives. Price was good and many places to eat at welcome break.The good breakfast do a lovely bacon butty .Staff all friendly .WiFi very good

We were put in a room that was poorly cleaned. Toilet stained. A bit of a smell when you walked in the room. Also had ants crawling on work surface by kettle/mugs. Reported it to reception they moved us to another room which had no issues
