Everything. I can't honestly find a fault. Our suite was delightful, beautiful and cosy. Everything worked. All the appliances, e.g. kettle, iron, were top of the range, and all of the furniture well-chosen and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly. One of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere. I cannot recommend it too highly.

Grasping at straws for a criticism, but the toast was made with the cheapest bread, which seemed a surprising oversight. But that's the only tiny negative I can think of!

The property is as immaculate in real life as the advertising suggests. The owners have exceptional attention to detail and show their long industry experience in every aspect. The breakfast is first class and served promptly. The chef is excellent. I certainly recommend the Afternoon Tea, which was the best I have received, and that includes The Ritz. The owners have a wealth of local knowledge. Make sure you listen to their restaurant recommendations.

We loved the hosts, the accommodation, the comfort, the decor, the breakfast, the calm surroundings, and the ambience within Cedar Manor- in particular the choice of relaxing background music played during the evening and breakfast 🥰.

We really didn't like the early checkout time. It would have been perfect if check out was at noon rather than 10.30am. Everything else was perfect!

Caroline and Jonathan were such warm-hearted, considerate and attentive hosts. The hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with a super beautiful garden, an elegant surrounding environment and a convenient location for transportation.

My daughter Leanne and I had a wonderful stay at Cedar Manor. We were warmly welcomed by Jonathan (somebody, someone! lol). The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, welcoming inside and out.

We loved the beautiful gardens, the lounges, dining room and our room.

It’s beautifully decorated and maintained and surrounded by a gorgeous garden. There is parking onsite but the train station and Windermere are within walking distance. The couple who run it tend to your every need from drinks and high tea in the sitting room to restaurant recommendations to sight seeing options. Lovely, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms with comfy beds, windows that can be opened and showers with good pressure.

The staff were lovley, and the property is very nice! the manor is very well maintained and clean considering the small team they had, the beds were super comfy and the amenities in the room were superb, definitely worth booking!

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Manor. Jonathan and Caroline were very friendly and helpful, they made our stay exceedingly comfortable and provided really good advice and helpful information before and during our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and beautifully furnished; you could see that much care had been taken to make the manor a lovely and homely place to stay in. The location is excellent, within 5-10 minutes walking distance to the town centre and the bus stop is just outside. Oh, and breakfast was delicious !

The bathroom in one of the rooms is a little small, although its well fitted with a spa bath. Not a spoiler though, everything else about it is fine.
