The property was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay. The staff were so friendly. Location was perfect. Close to restaurants and the lake! We will definitely be returning.

The pet fee was expensive per night.

We loved our stay at Burnside Park so much! The location was perfect! It’s a really short walk to lake Windermere from the apartments and whilst it can get really busy down by the lakes it doesn’t have that feel at all when you are at the apartments - its really quiet and lovely. The apartment itself was really warm and cosy and perfect for our family of four (two adults, a baby and our dog)! The apartment was also very clean. We especially liked the fact that you could buy milk / snacks in the reception (saves a walk to town) and also that you could order bread and pastries for the morning too! The reception staff were lovely and super friendly / chatty too! We don’t usually like to go back to a place more than once (preferring to stay in different places when we go on holiday) but we will 100% come back here again!

the property was immaculately clean and well located. (5min into Bowness) all the facilities needed were provided and was comfortable

we stayed in an apartment with no outdoor space in what felt like an attic. we had no natural light into the room. the view from the living room was a wall about 1m away. the underfloor heating in the bathroom was constantly on. in the hot weather it made it really warm.

The property was amazing! It gave a stay at home feel. Very spacious house and modern style furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen including a microwave and utensils. The surrounding ambience was fabulous with garden and benches provided. Also, there is a play area for kids and guest lounge. One car park is complimentary with the stay. There is also complimentary WiFi. The city centre is about 7-10 minutes walk.

The check in and checkout times are quite odd and not like the regular hotel timings.

The location was great. Only a few minutes walk away from the lake. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you needed. We arrived a bit early on a rainy day, but the apartment was ready and we were allowed to check in, which was really helpful after a long drive. The property offers a free car parking space. The price is on the higher end but worth. We would definitely come back.

TV could be upgraded to smart TV to allow watching stream services. The parking space was a bit tight. Coffee and tea supplies could be better as it wasn't enough for the family of 5.

Spotlessly clean, smelled lovely as soon as we walked in and very comfortably furnished. Both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Perfect place to relax. We were two adults, a 2 year old and 10 year old and the one bedroom apartment was the perfect size for us. Staff was helpful, kids games room was great and the location perfect. A 5 min walk into town or to the lakes. We’ll be making this our go-to accommodation for when visiting the lakes.

We were in a ground floor apartment and you can hear people in the flat above moving around. We were fine with it but if you want more quiet maybe a top floor would be better.

Excellent Quiet location with 5 min walk to lake. Electric vehicle charging at reception at 55pence per kilowatt. Which is reasonable. Overall a decent choice as you have a flat instead of a hotel room which has a full sized fridge freezer.

Creaky floors. Best to get a top floor. We were in the middle and you could hear upstairs walking about at midnight. Pets are allowed and you could smell that slightly.

Location and staff

Everything was good except couple of things We were in c45 (mentioning number so staff can fix it) house bathroom door lock did work. Secondly, The pictures on advertisement could be updated as when we booked it had wooden flooring in tv/living room whereas actual cottage had carpets, spoke to staff who informed all accommodations are carpeted now and fully booked so we couldn’t move to a different one. Recommended for families especially with kids

The apartment was perfect! It had everything we needed! Ground floor with access to a small patio was fabulous for sitting out with a cool drink and to let our little dog stretch her legs. The wonderful receptionist prepared some freshly baked croissants for us in the morning. She was very helpful and welcoming. Third time we have been here, staying in 3 different apartments- all beautiful. Had a lovely weekend. See you again soon! Thank you!

Good location, great apartment and kids loved it

Due to the weather the hotel grounds were covered in snow. My car was parked on a hill and was stuck, the grounds keeper lad did his best to try clear it all but the roads were treacherous. Despite not many people arriving due to the weather our room wasnt going to be occupied for the following night. But having been told we had basically over stayed our welcome we were basically forced out and sent on our way. Which was it just me and the wife that would be fine but we had 2 small children and so with nowhere else to go we had no option but to get on the roads which were terrible. We did get stuck a few times and the locals helped us but if it wasnt for that we would have got stuck and possibly wouldnt have made it back
