We enjoyed the views, lush nature, beautifull spa, and spacious room

First of all, the extra price that you need to pay for using the outdoor spa area. It is absolutely unacceptable. Second, the stuff of the restaurant refused us for lunch AS A HOTEL GUESTS, even though they were not full. We were shocked and disgusted by their explanation. And final, the food in the same restaurant that we were “lucky” to have a place for dinner was below mediocre so actually we were lucky not to have a table for lunch.

Tha Spa experience was fabulous. The view was beautiful. The room was comfortable.

Bar area dog hairs and smell of dogs (I understand it’s a dog friendly hotel). If you and your partner are all dressed up to celebrate a special day, sitting in dog hair/dog aroma whilst having drinks before a nice meal it kind of puts a dampener on it. It was also a fairly expensive couple of days.

Everything about the hotel was amazing the facilities were fantastic and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was increadible and of course the views across lake windermere were stunning.

The only thing that I wasn't entirely please about was not being able to use the swimming pool and spa facilities during the day, due to day visiting guests booking spa slots between 12:30 - 17:30. After all we had also paid to stay at Low Wood Bay Hotel and Spa, so these facilities should also be available for us to use too, maybe even more so.

The hotel, it's staff, location and facilities were superb. The hotel staff were all particularly accommodating and polite. The hotel provides a fantastic breakfast selection, despite being busy when we visited there was never a pressure to leave. A 11am check out was very well received on the Sunday morning.

I did not enjoy the hotel parking charge being hand delivered on an invoice prior to checking out. Why not include it within your room rates? Access to the pool was very limited forcing guests, at the available times, to attend all together. We arrived 10minutes after the pool opened and there were no locker bands left. Leaving my clothes and valuables at risk. As a result of the rush to the pool, there was also insufficient locations to have towels or possessions at the pool side, all seating had already been claimed. I intended to do a few lengths but the pool was so busy there was no chance. I did not enioy this arrangement and I think it requires some thought for the future. If the pool was open for longer periods then the rush to all attend at the same time would ease.

For the amount being charged you couldn't get in till 3 and have to be out by 11. Disappointed that the Spa had restricted times for guests so didn't get to use. Really it's a lot of money to put your head on the pillow.

Location overlooking Windermere, stunning views. Staff throughout professional. Public transport links to wider area immediately outside hotel.

1. Limited access to pool facilities during day, frustrating as it was empty ! 2. No complaints over our room, but we were in a quiet area and the occupants in the next room decided to leave their dog in the room while they were at breakfast, consequently dog barked continually ! Not dogs fault shouldn’t have been left or allowed to be in a quiet area. Perhaps people who insist on bringing dogs should be in separate part of hotel !

The spa was phenomenal, the staff were helpful. It was excellent overall!

Nothing major - The room we stayed in could do with a refurb. Cracks in the walls, Very worn etc. Very noisy at 4am each day, not sure if we were near a staff room? But was still great overall. Thanks for having us.

The hotel was excellent both inside and out. Excellent staff helpful. Poor check in We could not get into our rooms to change for a wedding being held at the hotel until after the start of the wedding. No spare rooms to get changed into which for hotel of that size not acceptable. The huge let down was the experiences at the hotel bars. Not only did they charge exorbitant prices for any drink being purchased but they secretly added a 12.5% service charge onto your bill. Which if you did not ask for a receipt, you would not know they had done so and that you were being charged over the odds for any drinks being purchased. I call that stealing. Unlike restaurant when you get a bill you are given an option to accept the service charge or not. Not at this hotel the bar staff simply added the service charge onto the price of your drinks the cost of which were high enough. Huge car park but you were charged £12 to park at the hotel

See above. The charge to park your car, the ability to get into your room in a timely manner. The service charge added to you bill when purchasing drinks from the bar.

Nice hotel with great staff and great location. The infinity pool (once we finally got in) was great. Best thing about the place. Great gym facilities

Was surprised hotel guests don't get free or priority access to the outdoor infinity pool area. We had to wait until the morning and pay 50 quid for 2 people to access for 2 hours. If I had known that I'd have booked another place and done a spa day if I'm honest. No slippers provided and our bed was a double twin pushed together into a double, when I'd requested a double. Breakfast was alright if you wanted full English however the continental was basic. Altogether nice hotel but I've had better experiences at cheaper places.

Location was fantastic

In spa no ice room or plunge pool which I think should be included , the staff were lovely , especially the waiting staff , the blue smoke restaurant was lovely too and breakfast was great
