The Hotel is in a lovely location with fantastic view out towards the lake. The patio area at the front of the hotel ensures you can make the most of the late afternoon sun. Always a bonus in the UK. The gardens were well kept and the hotel bar was great. The staff were absolutely fabulous. Every single member of the team were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would give the staff 10/10.

There were some dead flowers that were left in the dining room the 3 days we were there. We were told they change them on Thursdays but to be honest, dead flowers don't make an appealing environment. I'd rather have non and the area be clean and tidy. I think a bit of common sense needs using in this situation. The hot water in our bathroom was also extremely hot and became too hot to put your hand under almost immediately. This is dangerous for children.

The staff were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble and they always went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, we stayed with our dog Freddie the miniature Daschund who captured the hearts of staff and other guests, the doggy welcome pack was perfect and he especially enjoyed the treats and the fuss! The food was excellent, bed was comfortable, room was cleaned daily and we couldn't fault the standard of cleanliness, the view from our room was absolutely stunning, we'd love to come back and stay again, thank you to all the staff members who made our experience so wonderful ❤️

Great location and fabulous view of the lake in our room. Afternoon tea was particularly spectacular and was enough to feed 4! The staff were lovely and very accommodating, especially the lady at Reception and William!

The breakfast was underwhelming and the food at the grill was not to our standard. Mac and cheese as a side did not specify that it had bacon and we were upset to receive that as mac and cheese usually comes plain and as is. They should really specify on the sides that it contains pork. The wait staff were singing very loudly and you could hear it from the kitchen during dinner and it felt unprofessional

The hotels location overlooking the lake is truly out of this World with such a view it is truly memorable. The accommodation was exceptional with a front facing room overlooking the lake and mountains beyond for which we were blessed with clear skies and sunshine. The staff were very attentive and gave excellent service for which nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was truly some of the best I have had in my many travels and truly recommend it even for the experience. A very worthy establishment to visit and out thanks to all concerned.

Stunning location, the drive up to the hotel is really magnificent as is the view from the terrace where we had a hot pot of coffee and then pre dinner drinks. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. As it was our Anniversary, we were given an upgrade to a 4 poster room on arrival and there was a card and a gorgeous box of chocolates in the room. Dinner was great and breakfast was exceptional - ordered at the table and served beautifully. The hotel is beautiful, luxurious and well cared for.

A luggage lift would be great Not being able to open a window in the bedroom - would have been lovely to have some fresh air blowing through especially as the view was so beautiful from the room

The setting and ambience of the hotel was lovely as expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I was grateful to have my case carried up to the bedroom for me. Enjoyed the breakfast, good choice and the evening meal, beautifully cooked. Disappointed the soup was the same on both days of our 2 day stay. The homemade ice cream was special.

Unfortunately the service at dinner was very slow on the second day, apparently due to a couple of staff being absent. Something that couldn't be helped, overall our stay was excellent

Would be a beneficial if there was an EV charging point. There was 4 Ev's in the car park on our first night. This wasn't a dislike just would have been beneficial.

Breakfast was outstanding. So much choice. We ordered evening meals at The Grill as the food was so delicious and the service was excellent. Loved sitting by the fire and relaxing. The room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom and enormous bed.

Only a tiny thing but a sight shame the full length mirror in room 14 was attached to the side of the wardrobe with the table full of tea and coffee next to it. This meant it was difficult to dry my hair and use the mirror.

Breakfast was delicious ,evening meal also,stall excellent.

Shower was not good,tv only had one channel
