Staff was extremely helpful and competent. Although there is no ice machine in the inn the staff provided us with ice free of charge (and an ice-bucket). They also informed us about shopping and eating options nearby. Fridge, micro, iron, problemfree wifi in the room were useful as well as free parking in the yard.

The staff turned the lack of the ice machine into a positive experience. Still an ice machine would be a benefit since the staff cannot supply ice to each guest. Anyway, nothing negative to mention.

The Mountain View Inn was close to my week-long workshop. I chose it because it was the least expensive in the area. It turned out to be an exceptionally clean room (with vinyl plank floors - no carpet!) and the desk personnel and cleaning staff were really friendly.

I love the location of this hotel. It's only about 3 mi from historic downtown Flagstaff on route 66. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the bed very comfortable and the pillows were great. The hotel is near the train tracks, but if you turn on the fan for the air conditioning unit you don't hear anything. You can back your car up right to your door and unload your luggage and gear. A laundromat is less than a mile away, and great restaurants are everywhere including the Eat and Go which makes fantastic breakfast choices. I'm usually running around and very busy so I just need a place where I can sleep comfortably. This hotel checks all the boxes especially the price point. If you get a chance, talk to the housekeeper, Margie. She is a delightful woman with wonderful stories to tell.

I had to bust out my camping burner to make some coffee and my camp press. It would be nice if coffee makers were in the rooms but Margie told me they're getting them. Coffee places are all around if you need a good cup.

Simple and good for the budget for a late getaway.

One room was running late with check out, about 11:12am. The lady housekeeper told us, we would be charged $25 if we weren’t out at 11:15am. The room was in the middle of packing up their vehicle. The week before, there was no issue with the male housekeeper.

Cleanliness of the room we stayed in, It is always so clean which makes us come back to stay at this hotel. And most time we are give the lower floor which is very accessable when you are tired to climb stairs.

Nothing really, just that my husband said the bed was just a little too firm for him. But over all, we did get a good nights rest after an eventful evening;

We always enjou our stay at the facility. It also gives a reasonable price ecspecially when you are on a budget. Enjoyed the little table in the room to eat at instead of having only one chair.

Keep the rooms a little warm during the winter for the occupants. Usually we check in, turn on the heater and go out for a bit to let the room warm up while we are out.

Was skeptical when we arrived but was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The beds were super comfortable. Room was recently updated and clean. Tucked right into the foothills.

Room only had 3 bath towels, needed 4(room had 2 queen beds, 4 people would be expected in the room.) Went to office to get another one in the morning but they were closed.

Towels felt like sand paper. No coffee in room and not continental breakfast. Train noise at night but with ac fan on it helped 100%

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice for the rest of our travel.
