Needed a place to stay and work remotely for the week. Legacy was a great experience! The resort is very comfortable, has beautiful views, the unit is spacious, pool provides a great escape for the heat. The resort is full of trees, so you can walk / park your car in the shade. Useful fitness center. Overall, exceeded my expectations.

A few things could improve for a perfect experience: First, there's no soundproofing, so you can hear everything from the other units. I could hear my neighbor snore 😅. Could be an issue, but fortunately I always bring earplugs so I can sleep. Second, the fire alarm of the kitchen is too sensitive. Would go off every time we cooked, despite not burning anything -- even with simple meals like eggs. Not a big issue since we could always silence it, but still a bit inconvenient. Lastly, no housekeeping. We stayed for 6 nights and no one came to clean. That, for us, was the major negative point of the stay.

I stayed at the Legacy Resort four years ago and was immediately impressed with the room and all the amenities the resort has to offer. The pool is amazing, and the tennis court, kids’ play area, and small gym were also very nice. Over the past three years, I tried other resorts in the Phoenix area. While they were nice, none compared to the Legacy Resort—which is why we chose to return this summer. I teach in the San Diego area for most of the year, and I always look forward to a week where I can relax, swim, and enjoy summer activities. The Legacy Resort checks all the boxes for me, and after this year’s visit, it’s safe to say it’s my go-to spot from now on.

My room was a 1-bedroom suite, and was extremely comfortable. Location was quiet, safe, and very convenient for me. Availability of many amenities, although I did not use any of them.

Floors, drapes, and some of the furniture were outdated, Bathroom floor tiles were in poor condition. Large sections of parking spots in front of my room were blocked off with pilons, causing me to have to park a bit of a distance from my room. I had an adjoining room, separated by a metal door, and I could hear EVERY noise and conversation from guests next door. One night, some type of animal got under and inside the bathroom wall, making loud scratching and flopping noises, enough to wake me from a deep sleep.

Loved the little kitchen with everything you need in it and the supply of dish soap and laundry soap. The pool was large enough not to bump into other people and the jacuzzi was hot. No daily cleaning of our suite plenty of towels. You can call for a ride on a golf cart up to the pool of you can’t walk that far. Staff always friendly and non judgmental.

The dishwasher and the washing machine were VERY NOISY, they need replacing. Don’t run them while you’re in the room.

Breakfast was delicious. Server was so nice.

The pro shop attendant. I felt he could have accommodated me a bit better. I was traveling with my son who does not play. I asked for a cart so he could ride with me, and I was denied and told that there were not enough carts. Later that day, I saw a twosome, each on their own resort, golf cart. We were in town for a concert and the reason I stayed The Legacy was to play. I ended up missing out on playing what looked like a beautiful course.

Our unit was very clean, spacious, and well equipped with the necessities. The pool side bar/restaurant was surprisingly good and quite affordable given the excellent food quality. The restaurant staff was consistently welcoming.

Check in was a little like a time share site visit with a pitch to attend a property presentation. We were not there for that purpose and passed. While it was a bit annoying, there was no pressure to attend.

The facilities were beautiful and safe. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The studio had all of the amenities such as two entrance doors, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The heated pool, jacuzzi, and fitness center were fantastic!

Our family of four did feel a little bit cramped in the studio. Wished it was a little bit bigger. I will definitely book a room a little bit bigger next time to best meet my family's needs.

The room was a great size for our family and we made use of the kitchen facilities during our stay. We also used the washer and dryer and thought the complimentary detergent was a nice touch. Beds were large and comfortable Pool was lovely - happy hour was fab! Kids used the tennis and basketball courts and we had a BBQ one evening which was lovely and easy to use. We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant had some good deals and food looked really nice.

I like the feel of the resort. It's a nice resort with comfortable rooms. The restaurant staff is very nice and the food is good. It's fairly close to ASU, which made it easier to visit my son.

I don't like that there are no elevators to take luggage up to the second floor. Walking up daily is OK but dragging the luggage up the stairs is hard.

The walls are thin and noise carries very well.... There was a fun party happening next door that extended into the middle of the night on one of the nights we stayed. After various attempts to ask the fun havers to keep it down (we kept trying until 130am with no success), we all put in earplugs and were sad that the noise carried so well. The other 4 nights were terrific.
