I liked how when I got off the freeway Carpenter Avenue leads you right to the property ! It was so easy to find. These are a collection of little rustic cabin duets, so know that they are older. But, they are very comfortable, with everything that you require for a nice stay. The place was impeccably clean - no dust or grime. They were generous with the towels. I also liked that I could park right in front of my cabin. So convenient. I liked the Silk Orchid in the room, and the lovely red Geraniums in the window box in front of my door. A nice touch. I look forward to returning to this place !

I was not a fan of the coffee maker; I would rather have a Keurig so that I can use my own coffee in a reusable K-cup, but no worries. I travel with my own coffee pot. You can tell that effort was put in to an upgrade and an update of the units. One more thing that could be done that would add value would be to do a Urethane Bath-Tec refinishing of the bathtub, as it is very rusted at the drain. Also new fixtures would be a good idea. (faucets and handles in the bathtub).

I liked that we had our own space and that it was only a 15 minute walk to the downtown area

The parking was a bit cramped and you could hear neighbors moving around a bit through the walls

Adorable, clean, comfortable, great value.

Shower could’ve gotten hotter, air conditioning was quite loud.

The cottage was ideal for our purposes. During our stay, the weather was damp with rain. We were able to entertain family under the covered “carport” just outside our door and had enough room inside to set up a table (we brought with us) to set up activities for the kids. The front office was helpful in accommodating parking for our guests and providing extra blankets for the room. My husband had a great time exploring the area on his e-bike. Downtown Carmel, the theater, the beach, Monterey … were just minutes away via car.

The property looks like it's out of a fairy tale! Very cute and whimsical. Our room was okay, but for the price, that's understandable. It was clean. The bed was really big and comfortable. Our parking spot was also right out front. The cottages each have their own name, which was really cute. The neighborhood is so awesome and central! Very walkable! The staff was very kind and accommodating.

The common area was very run down with plastic chairs and a "pond" that was just a basin of dirty water. There were no fish or anything in there. So that needs a major improvement. A jacuzzi would be a much better option. Also, no a/c in the room, so thankfully they had one more fan to give us. We needed two fans to effectively cool down the room to sleep in. The pillows on the bed were also not very comfortable. Those also need improvement.

For the price i paid i was not really expecting such a nice and peaceful place to stay,we drove from southern California to CSUMB to drop off my step daughter and drive was longer due to avoiding the fires that were still happening and we needed a restful night.I was not gonna be there before 9pm.when office closes,so i called and was told they would leave the key for our room in a lock box and they would text a code to open and be able to get my key after 9 pm.Very greatful for that.I would love to stay there again.

The location was good. Quieter than accommodations nearer the heart of town. The room was spacious. Coffee supplies and toiletries were plentiful. Clean. Parking is right by the room. Reasonable in price for the area.

We know the resort is old. Some all around maintenance is needed. The heater in our room needs replacing. Paint is peeling on the exterior. We had to ask for housekeeping.

Separate cabins, clean, take & chairs under the tree outside 121. All amenities worked. Cheerful Fresh paint inside. Non slip mat for bath. Take out pizza able to be delivered.

Broken down roads and path to our room a trip hazard. No rail on step up to our room. No grab rail on the bath. No cutlery or crockery. I found later that I could have asked at the office.Too far from shops and bus stop if no car. No laundry facilities, and a long walk to laundromat.

The bed was great, hot shower, location was great. i liked the character of the room and it was quiet.

Two simple fixes. The air came blasting through the front door and can be fixed with weather striping. Also, the light outside the front door came streaming not the room. Just putting a curtain on the window would help that.

I loved the location. It wasn’t in the heart of Carmel’s downtown but right around the corner which eliminated parking issues. It was clean and quiet with very little other activity around us. I loved that we had our own designated parking spot. And very good rates for the area. Absolutely would stay there again! All around a great place to stay.

I would say that the only reason I wouldn’t give it a 10/10 is just that it’s a little dated in decor/interior.
