Fantastic location - right next door to the convention center! And easy to walk to the Gaslamp Quarter. Room had issues initially with the air conditioner, but maintenance came in immediately to change filter - great service. The text/chat feature was excellent - very responsive to everything. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. We had a bay view room - fantastic!

Initially the air conditioner was not cooling well - but maintenance came in and got it working properly. The extra fees were very high, and were not explained to us well. But during SDCC, I expected high rates.

The room was very specious, clean, smelling really nice and the view was stunning. It could have larger trash bins though. For the size of the room the trash bin was so tiny. We needed extra trash bags which were supply immediately. So, overall service was very good. Except the bar in the sea level. We loved the service at night in the sea level bar, but in the morning, I didn't find them very pleasant also the tables were not very clean. I would prefer having breakfast somewhere else next time.

The room was very clean. Very happy about that and grateful to all who work hard to keep it clean. The location was another great addition. Customer service at the front desk, restaurant was exceptional. Employees represent the institution they work for. The wonderful customer service at Hilton reflected that. Thank you for your wonderful customer service. It made my stay even more enjoyable! I definitely will come back to this Hilton next time I plan to come to San Diego.

Parking was a little bit expensive but that’s the rate in the area so I can’t complain. Hopefully in the near future, there will be some kind of discount if you stay longer.

The location to the convention center, the very comfortable bed, the cannery, and gift shops were good as well. I really liked the spinach torte bake and the tomato olive torte bake. Oh and the acai bowl place under the hotel, was very good and had very friendly staff (not sure how connected to the hotel they are but thought I should mention it since it is the same building)

The parking fee for self parking, the programming options on the TV, being woken up at dawn by the protesters making God awfully noise no issue with protests but can they at least wait till people are more likely out of bed (not really the hotels doing),

Great location especially for access to adjacent convention centre, great location for direct access to promenade and gas lamp quarter.

Restaurant severely overpriced (along the lines of $100 for breakfast for two), pantry and starbucks available on site but marked up in prices which is typical. Gym is on the small side but so get there earlier enough in the mornings!

Fabulous location (especially for access to the convention centre), great access to the promenade for walks and for the gas lamp quarter.

Restaurant is severely overpriced ($100 for a couple's breakfast). Starbucks and pantry shop available on site but prices are typically marked up. Gym is on the small side but if you're there earlier enough, not a major problem and it's equipped with upto date equipment.

I primarily came for Comic-Con, so it was great that this hotel was one of the closest to the convention center. However, with that said, I also liked that this was more of a premium hotel, something that offered room service and more upscale amenities.

This is more of a nitpicky thing, but I like shower-only bathrooms with doors and you can walk in. I had a bathtub, so some of the water would leak through the curtains. It was also not as spacious as a walk-in shower.

The location was perfect for the 5K. Wish the other 5Ks we could afford to stay there.

The costs. Hilton is getting expensive for a place to shower and sleep for the average person. I requested extra towels when booking the room-no extra towels. Requested towels at the reservation desk-never received the towels. That is not like Hilton not to respond.

Great location and great view from 10th floor. Great pool area with two hot tubs. Great breakfast. Would for sure stay here again.

Expensive parking. The final hotel bill at checkout was unclear - not even the staff really understood it which caused unnecessary discussion about the resort fee. But everything ended well and we were not charged for anything that was not correct.

Had everything you needed for a relaxing stay.

When we checked in the registration desk said the parking was $45 . As we were staying 5 days for my brother’s funeral I asked if it was $45 for the entire stay and I was told yes. As we received our bill via email we were on the road back to Texas when we discovered we were charged $45 a day. I suppose this was because we exited each day to arrange funeral arrangements.
